My sister and I are young seniors and stayed in one of Audrey's flats in June for 11 days. The spotless one-bedroom flat has old-world charm with its high ceilings and fantastic windows. The bath and kitchen are totally modern and the kitchen has enough equipment to prepare a gourmet meal. The wireless network was invaluable as was the washing machine. The rooms are spacious and charming and there is lots of cupboard space. We were just steps away for the best of shopping and could walk to almost all tourist attractions although our feet eventually took us to the subway and the trams. The Vienna transit system is a bargain as well as fun and leaves you energy to enjoy the sites. Audrey's advice to pre-book our taxi from the airport was helpful and cost-effective. As she is a resident nearby, Audrey could direct us to the best of local restaurants in the surrounding area. The lovely old building is located in a friendly, mixed commercial and residential neighbourhood that epitomizes the best in city living. We loved the flat and the surroundings and would definitely stay again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I spent 5 days in this property and had a great time. I enjoyed the fine taste in choosing the furniture and decoration, everything was well explained and easy to use. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom adorable, key location in the city: It was perfectly quiet in the heart of a lively zone. There is a tram right outside and a great inexpensive vegetarian biological restaurant right in the front. I would certainly come back!! Very special THANK YOU to the owner for providing me with a few clothes when my luggage arrived with delay, I will not forget your hospitality!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I did not stay in this apartment but a similar one which I believe was in the same building or nearby. Audrey was the ideal host -- friendly, very communicative, and available for any questions. The 1 bedroom apartment we stayed in was beautifully furnished, immaculately clean, and felt newly renovated. Great amenities -- nothing missed. The building itself was very secure, private, and quiet. No noisy neighbors. The apartment was in a neighborhood with many art and design firms, within 15 minutes walking distance of the ring and sightseeing. We plan to stay with Audrey on our next Vienna trip because it was such a pleasure.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/1

We absolutely loved this apartment! It's very quiet, nicely decorated with good lighting, clean and has a wonderful bathroom. The washer/dryer was a bonus. The neighborhood we stayed in was very nice with shops and restaurants nearby and a few blocks away there is a main shopping street. There is a great Italian restaurant on the corner. The place is in walking distance to the city center, but tram 49 stops just outside the place if you didn't feel like walking. One interesting fact we learned about our neighborhood, was that the artist, Gustav Klimt, lived only a block away! At the end of the day it was so nice to be able to come back to such a comfortable place. The owners were professional and easy to work with AND sweet enough to leave us some savory treats for our honeymoon. We really hope to make it back to Vienna and if we do we would definitely choose this place again!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We are a mature couple, first visit in Vienna. Property was very clean, quiet, gerat neighbourhood. The owner was very helpful answering all our concerns. The apartment looks exactly like the pictures. It is larger than it looks, which was an even better surprise. All amenities around, city center a few minutes away. We would definitly come back to this property or try another one from the same owner. Thank you again for such a nice stay!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed 6 days in this apartment and had a great time. The owner was very helpful, first replying to all our questions, then providing us a warm welcome in Vienna. The apartment looks exactly like the pictures! It has a key location, close to everything, shops, supermarkets, Museums, Transportation city center etc. It is quiet and nicely decorated. It is very clean also. We found a little austrian vegetarian bio restaurant right in front of the property, very well priced and excellent grape fruit juice. Thank you again for all and we would love to come back...most probably when it is a bit sunnier!Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Flat was in a great location, tram outside the door, Ubahn about five minutes away, small grocery store on the corner, larger store about two blocks away. Restaurant next door, bike stop (rentals) next door. Always felt safe, many times returned late at night. Laundry facility about a block away. You are not in a noisy tourist area. Flat was clean and comfortable. Customer service was great, it started with Ida always promptly answering my emails. Continued with Gwaenaelle, she picked me up at Wien Mitte and drove me to the flat. I had planned on taking CAT to Wien Mitte and then the Ubahn. I can't thank her enough. She fully explained everything, told me to call her if I had any questions. It ended with Audrey, I was leaving early in the morning and Audrey came by the night before to return my security deposit (I had forgotten all about.)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

There are two apartments to choose from (Plum or Alps); my wife and I stayed for five nights in June at the Plum apartment and had a great time. There is a tram line right outside the front door which connects you to Vienna's world class transit system; or it's a five minute walk to the subway; or it's an easy 15 minute stroll to the Museums Quarter. The apartment was very clean, had large windows and high ceilings, and the bathroom was spacious compared to what were expecting. It is on the 3rd floor with no elevator, so not recommended for those who aren't able to climb stairs every day. Upon arrival we were met at the door by the property manager and were shown where the grocery store and laundromat were - plus we were asked if we had any questions about exploring Vienna. Overall, the location of the apartment made it easy to access to/from the airport, travel around the city, and go on day trips to the countryside even though we didn't have a car. We would certainly recommend this apartment to friends and family, as well as stay there again ourselves.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We usually stay at my fiends' home in Vienna whenever we visit them but last November they had other guests. For us it was very important to be close to them (walking distance). That' s why I was so surprised arriving in front of the gate of this nice old building because I realized how short walk from/ to Maria Hilferstrasse (this is a neighbourhood that I really know and like in Vienna with a lots of good restos and shops in the side streets) or from/to the Museumsquartier!!! The photos and the description of the property do reflect well the quality and the style of the apartment but we found further charming details (pictures of family members, decoration in the toilet, funny rabbit lamp in the kitchen, etc.) which make the property more friendly and warm. The lighting is absolutely fine - this is extremely important to make the right atmosphere. The apartment is located in a street where public transport is serviced but you have undisturbed, peaceful nights far from the traffic noises because the property is located in the back building of the house and there is a big inner court what you have to walk through to get to the staircase and this court is also where the windows open to. The apartment has not been rented out for a long time so it is clean and new. The owner is a wonderful, charming person (speaking several languages) - this is another reason (apart from location and style) why I would highly recommend it to any of my friends.Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I stayed at The Plum. Really enjoyed the local neighborhood! Tram stop is across the street and a few subway stations are within easy walking distance, which made for easy access anywhere. I got a 7 day transit pass (Monday - Sunday), so I could hop on and off as desired. The bells in the church start ringing at 8:00am or 9:00am. I think it varied?? I actually enjoyed them! Very quaint. I found the pics and descriptions of the apartment to be accurate. The large apartment is clean and well kept. There is a dishwasher, but I did my small amounts of dishes by hand. Therefore, I found I could have used more kitchen dishcloths/linens, maybe a draining board for drip-dry. There is no lift in the building. I found that to be a problem really only upon my arrival when I had to carry all my luggage UP. It was fine otherwise. The owner and manager both were very professional, friendly, and helpful. I would certainly recommend this apartment to friends and family! Thanks for a wonderful stay!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We stayed in this flat for three nights. The studio apartment was clean and comfortably - if not fashionably - furnished. The flat was well equipped, although it would have been nice to have a few more towels and hand towels - there were no hand towels (or soap) available in the WC. At first I was concerned that the location was too far from the places we wanted to visit in Vienna, but the #49 tram comes every 4-7 minutes and takes you there in minutes. There is a supermarket several restaurants and cafes within a block of the flat. I would definitely recommend this flat to friends.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This is an excellent place. We've stayed at many VRBO's and this is one of our favorites. The location was perfect for exploring Vienna with the street car stop right in front of the apartment building. The apartment is simply and nicely decorated. It looks out onto the central courtyard of the building so it does not have any street noise. Overall, this was a great stay and we highly recommend it.Recommended for: Tourists without a car

A beautiful, restored and well-decorated flat. The location was pretty good and walking distance to the city centre (25 minute walk). When we walked in, it felt like we walked into a brand new place. The large flat-screen TV with Blue-Ray system was a bonus as we were also able to plug-in our external hard drive and view photos and watch movies. Internet access was easy (plug-in and go or Wi-Fi) and the Billa supermarket (two stores) had the basic essentials for all of our grocery needs. The owners were very kind and considerate to our arrival and departing needs. Getting there from the train station was not too bad, we walked as it took 25 minutes with all our luggage. We would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
