A Fabulous Condo

The condo was nicely furnished, comfortable and absolutely wonderful. The photos didn't do the place justice -- it was even nicer than we had expected. The owner was wonderful to work with and we had no issues at all. The condo was very clean and well maintained and would recommend it without hesitation. We have no complaints whatsoever. Being so close to Old Town Scottsdale was a treat and we walked there everyday that we were there. And the pool being right outside our door (down the stairs) was also a real treat.

Perfectly located, beautifully appointed, everything you need

This apartment is located just behind the Fire Sky Resort which appears on Google Maps. There is a view of their lovely grounds from the deck. The Roaring Fork, one of the best restaurants in Scottsdale is a 5 minute walk away. The other restaurants are up to 1-1/4 miles away, but still very walkable (up to 1/2 hour). The large private deck, which overlooks the pool, is perfect for breakfast. The apartment is very comfortable for 2 couples, with enough space to give privacy for both, with a huge living area and very well equipped kitchen. It is extremely quiet, just far enough away from busy Scottsdale Road. Access to the freeway is very near, and easy to drive. Phoenix is huge, and the best way to get anywhere is by freeway. The apartment is in a building that looks like it was built in the 60's, but everything has been updated beautifully. The only negative is the 60's electrical service. I would recommend bringing a couple of extension cords. The outlets are few and far between, and will not accommodate polarized plugs. Overcoming that minor flaw was not difficult, and I really can't recommend this place enough. The price was extremely reasonable compared to other Scottsdale locations, and it is a perfect place to stay for a visit to the Phoenix area.

Owner response:Update: All rooms in the condo have three pronged electrical outlets, except the bathrooms which currently have three pronged adapters for two pronged outlets at the vanity lights.
