  Thank you again for allowing us to enjoy your lovely home in Hilton Head. The weather was perfect and the water enjoyable. The restaurants were wonderful and not having to wait in line was more than we could ask! Love the new floors and Carolina blue carpet. Will be missing Hilton Head Island for sure. This is our 29th year in coming. God Bless!

  Our first visit to Hilton Head Island was a delight! With great weather and a homey condo, all of us enjoyed our stay. Although we've had many vacations to the Carolina shores, I believe we will be returning to HHI in the near future.

  We came back for our third vacation at your lovely 'beach cottage'! We have thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks here. It's nice to know we have found a great place to stay after all our years of coming to HHI. The beach is so relaxing. We hope to return next summer and bring our granddaughter. Thanks again.

  We had a wonderful time staying here! It is very comfortable and beautiful, and we love the upgraded bathrooms and kitchen! Our favorite thing of course was the close proximity to the beach. We rented bikes..., and it was a smooth, less than 5-minute ride. We can't say enough about our stay here. It really is like a home away from home. Even our 2-year old son slept fine and comfortably. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay here, there are so many good things to say!

  We love this unit, this was my 3rd time here with the family and my dog. Perfect location, very clean feels like home. Beautiful golf course view with an easy walk to the beach. Can't wait to come back.

  We have been vacationing in Hilton Head for 10 years, once or twice a year and we always stay at this villa. It has everything we want from a vacation: Close to pool and hot tub, bike path to the beach, nice furniture, beautiful view. We love it and we keep coming back year after year. Rada and Ken

  We have been vacationing in Hilton Head Island for 10 years, once or twice a year, and we have always booked this villa. It is our second home. It has everything we want: Close to pool and hot tub, close to bicycle paths, short bike ride to the beach, beautiful view of the golf course, nice furniture. We love the villa and just booked it this spring as well. Ken and Rada

  We've had the most lovely month staying in your comfortable home. We have especially enjoyed its close proximity to the beach and the great spa at the pool Thank you for making it pet friendly! The worst part is leaving to go home.

  We want to thank you for allowing us to use your lovely villa for this wonderful week's vacation. We really appreciate you allowing us to bring the other member of our family, our dog Aina. We loved the short walk to the beach and the availability of all the golf. We really enjoyed eating at the Old Oyster Factory and eating on the deck (patio). We look forward to coming back in the near future.

  Again we have had a marvelous vacation here at your very lovely "beach cottage." We had a nice relaxing time but enjoyed many fun activities as well as fine food. My favorite thing is probably reading a good book on the beach. Mu husband's is probably visiting the beach in the later afternoon/early evening time. We hope to be back next year. Thanks so much.

  We visit HHI every spring - we love it. We always miss our doggie and have wanted to bring him along. However, we were extremely apprehensive of how the condition of a pet friendly villa might be. Therefore, we have been researching this villa since last spring and reading the reviews. We truly enjoyed the newly remodeled masterbath and kitchen. The half bath was nice and cheery as well. The mattress was also quite comfortable. Our biggest concern was the carpet - it was stained and didn't appear clean at all. Also, the baseboards could use a thorough cleaning and new paint. We definitely would not hesitate using this villa again if the carpet is removed and replaced with either hardwood or ceramic. This would greatly diminish the doggie odor. Our two-week stay at HHI was fabulous, as always. We have our favorite restaurants, but we always like to talk to the locals and pick their brains for suggestions of new ones. The Back Yard is outstanding! This year, we also tried Santa Fe, Bella Italia (pizza - yummy) and Ill Carpaccio at Pineland Station. We're ready to return!

  Owner response: We are happy to report that we have replaced all the carpeting in the condo - living room and both bedrooms. In addition we installed bamboo flooring in the foyer, kitchen and dining area. The condo looks great! Come visit us again!

  First, I want to say that this was the only place that would work with us and allow us to stay a Sunday to Sunday. I have been visiting Shipyard since I was a kid and I loved riding my bike through the Colonade Club. So I figured that would be a perfect place to stay. Which it was!! The condo was clean and we loved the view of the lagoon. The king size bed was so comfortable-it was nice to wakeup feeling refreshed. The only thing I would say is the master bath needed updated which is being done. I would recommend Eat, Wild Wing Cafe and if you are planning an event contact Celebration Events.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

You are correct that our usual turn-over day is Saturday, but I'm glad we were able to accommodate you during the slower holiday season. Our master bath remodeling is completed, and we now have a walk-in shower with beautiful tile work, and a new vanity, faucets and lighting. Come see us again soon.

  You have a beautiful getaway. Thank you for sharing it with us. So comfortable, like being at home and on vacation at the same time. Wonderful to be able to get to Charleston & Savannah. Had great dinners on outdoor patios with our beagle Freddo. Love the beach theme so tastefully done.

  Your lovely and comfortable condo became our home away from home, too. We caught ourselves saying 'when we get home..." when we were out at the great beach, shopping or out for a terrific dinner at several of our favorite restaurants like Sunset Grille. Of all the places we've stayed over our 20+ years coming to HHI, we'd like to come back to your 'beach cottage." P.S. Our dogs loved it too!

  We had the pleasure of staying at this property for a week in July and enjoyed it so much that we are returning for another week in October. The condo was extremely clean and comfortable and the kitchen had all new appliances. The unit is tucked away in a quiet corner of Shipyard Plantation yet it is located only minutes from many fine restaurants, shops and island attractions. It is about a 1/2 mile walk or bike ride to the beach but the walking path is almost entirely shaded by huge oak trees covered in Spanish moss. Another important consideration it selecting this vacation unit is that it is pet friendly. Dogs are allowed on the beach before 10 AM and after 5 PM. Since our dogs love the ocean, they had a great time too! I would highly recommend this condominium to any one who wants to be able to enjoy all the amenities of Hilton Head while staying in a wonderfully relaxing and peaceful area.

  Owner response: We're glad to have you visit us again, and hope you have a great time in October too. It takes about 3 minutes to bike to the beach and about 10 - 12 minutes to walk there. And when vacationing in October, you will notice that the dogs are allowed on the beach during the days, too. Check the sign at the beach for the various times which depend on the season.

  We enjoyed our stay in your villa. You have it decorated beautifully. I love the kitchen! My husband enjoyed fishing in the lagoon. We always love coming to HHI each year and this year was great as well!

  The kitchen was wonderful in this unit. It was well stocked. All beds were comfy with the exception of the sleeper sofa...Loved the decor...pretty colors. Master bathroom is a little outdated but the second one is very nice. (Owners' note: We have just remodeled the master bath with beautiful tile in a walk-in shower, and new vanity and lighting.) We were disappointed with the spa/hot tub at the pool. It was not working at first. (Owners' note: The hot tub at Colonnade Club has been completed redone and is now reliably and fully functioning.) Again, great location, nice property and we'll probably repeat our stay with this Colonnade property in the future... Thanks for a great vacation!

  Value, Convenience and Comfort Roomy and comfortable, convenient to beach, shopping. Overall best location and we have stayed many times on Hilton Head. Homeowners in this area were very friendly. We would stay again.

  This unit was very nice, convenient to HHI locations, nice walk to the beach, and very pet friendly. Unit was clean, nice layout, amenities were great. We enjoyed it more than other units we have rented at HHI over the years, and plan to book it again this year!

  We had a Terrific Time. The townhome was very comfortable and in a private location. We enjoyed our stay very much. The dryer needs a new belt. It squeaked alot when it was drying. Other than that, there were no real issues. It would have been nice to have steak knives and a few more utencils. But the overall experience was nice. The bedrooms were very nice and had comfortable beds. (Owners' note; We have replaced the dryer and purchased steak knives too.)

  We felt at home alomost immediately in this villa (even our dog Emmy did too!) We loved the wide beach, swimming pool & hot tub. People are so friendly here!! Everyone speaks! Our 1 year old min-pin Emmy got to run on the beach without a leash before sunrise for the first time. It was a sight to see! We also met alot of pet lovers at the beach. Keep up the good work and we would love to come back here.
