The owners of this cozy, well-equipped vacation rental made our stay very enjoyable. We had to stay last minute as our camper broke down and they were very accomodating. Put up with our yappy dogs and provided a delicious continental breakfast for us each morning (stocked in our unit's kitchenette). Beds were heavenly and the pellet stove made it lovely on our colder rainy days. A great place to stay winter or summer.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

What a find! The Bearded Raven Beds are luxurious, with Egyptian cotton sheets that felt like a hug after Shredding the mountain. The breakfast was top of the line, with health and freshness considered, and we even enjoyed some fresh veggies from the organic garden at an impromptu gourmet dinner put on by Sally and Spencer after a succesfull day picking chanterelles in the forest nearby. The green space around this property provided hours of early am and evening strolling in the pristine woods and meadows. Wildflowers abound, and the alpine meadows are worth the hike. Sally and Spencer know the area and directed us to spectacular secluded spots we would have surely missed without their expertise and knowledge of the area and conditions. We can't say enough about the BRB&S, We'll be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: Welcome to our version of paradise nestled in the Monashee and Selkirk Mountains. Revelstoke began its roots as a railway town and is quickly becoming famous as a hidden British Columbia gem rich in cultural history, outdoor tourism, and stunning beauty. The new Revelstoke Mountain Resort has everything you need for a phenomenal ski vacation. It is the only resort to offer lift, heli, cat and backcountry accessible skiing. It is also "North America's highest lift-serviced vertical at 1,713 meters (5620 ft)". Not to mention that you can still experience some of British Columbia's shortest lift lines and deepest powder! If you are into adventure outside the ski area boundaries, you can hire your own guide or meet up with some of the experienced locals. Ski touring in Rogers Pass or snowmobiling on Boulder Mountain and Frisby Ridge are just a few of your options. Our mountain community is full of people and businesses waiting to help make the most of your stay in Revelstoke. Check out our Resources page to make the best of your stay.
The Unique Benefits at this Bed And Breakfast:
In our free time we camp, hike, fish, mountain bike, climb and spend time in the mountains with our yellow Labrador Retriever, Toby; all within an hour of our house. In the winter, we regularly snowmobile, ski, snowboard and snowshoe out our back door.
