My husband & I stayed for a week to celebrate our 20th anniv. I couldn't have picked a better place! Biil & Brenda's condo is just perfect! It is beautiful, clean, so well stocked; the bed & pillows were so comfortable!! (we didn't use the 2nd bedroom) The view from the screened lanai is magnificent. We enjoyed it so much. The dolphins come often. We walked the beach every morning & evening - not crowded at all! We used the bbq area. The building is easy to find & access. I used the trolley system a couple of times - it was great to be picked up & dropped off right at the parking lot. I would highly recommend Biil & Brenda's condo. They were so easy to work with and seemed genuinely concerned that we found everything ok (Brenda called to make sure & offer assistance). I hope to make it back next year!!!!

We had a lovely week at the beach! The condo is well laid-out and clean. The beach is HUGE and definitely at the quiet end of the Island. We were there over spring break and while the pool got crowded, the beach is so big it always felt very private. We saw dolphins, sea turtles and manta rays - fun for our twin sons. Would not hesitate to recommend to another family. Thanks, Bill and Brenda!

Fantastic Week in Ft. Myers Beach

Wow, what a great condo at Carlos Pointe in Ft. Myers Beach! We have stayed in many condos, but never have we stayed in a cleaner more well appointed and well stocked condo as Brenda & Bill's. We had everything we needed from beach umbrellas, beach chairs, beach towels and floats to lots and lots of towels, sheets, pillows and anything else you can think of. Everything in this condo worked perfectly and the kitchen had a great supply of dishes and pots and pans. The beds were super comfy and the sheets and pillowcases were divine. We had an incredible view from our balcony and enjoyed sitting out there each morning with our coffee. Our three grandchildren loved the pool that is right on the beach and they enjoyed playing pingpong in the evenings. We had a t.v. in both bedrooms and the living room, so our grandchildren could watch what they wanted and my husband and I could watch what we wanted. We really enjoyed riding the trolley to Times Square. The trolley stops right in front of Carlos Pointe. The beach was beautiful, lots of great shells and the weather was perfect, we swam in the calm gulf waters everyday. Brenda called our first day to make sure we had everything we needed. If you rent this condo and you love the beach all you have to do is pack your swimsuit and show up because everything else is provided for you. What a great vacation!!! Thanks Brenda & Bill.

We were so impressed with this condo! We have stayed at Carlos Pointe before, in other units, but none compared to this one! Beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, fully stock with EVERYTHING you could want, even down to the floats and the pump to blow them up! The owners have thought of everything to make sure your vacation is just that...a vacation! It had comfort and safety and convience. The view from the lanai was prettier everytime I looked out it. I personally enjoyed all the ceiling fans through out the condo, just enough breeze to make everything comfortable. The owners were so easy to work with... this will be our "go to" place every time we are in FMB from now on!

We had high expectations after reading other reviews and seeing photos of the condo. I am pleased to say those expectations were exceeded. We had a wonderful time during our visit. The property was clean and well maintained. The condo had a nice view and was very comfortable. The beach area is very large. You felt you had your own private beach. The owners were very accommodating and very easy to work with. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Spent the week there and loved it. We lucked out and got better weather than the people who came down the week after us. But we had grandkids with us and they absolutely loved the beach it is a very expansive beach and easy to walk on and play in. As for this Condo I like the way it is furnished and the sundry items being there made the shopping for the things we needed a lot easier. Bill was easy to work the place was exactly as he described it. My wife and I hope to go back soon.

Wonderful condo and complex

This unit and complex have to be one of the best choices for the Fort Myers Beach area. The condo is one of the cleanest and attractuve, and probably the most thoughtfully furnished and stocked unit we have used in over 20 years of vacationing in SW Florida, including many years on Sanibel. The pool area was enjoyable with both shade and sun spots. The security of the locked access doors was reassuring. The flat screen tvs were enjoyable, especially the 37 incher in the living area(though the view through the glass doors from there and the lanai was hard to beat). Besides sunbathing and beachcombing the location offered both surf and pass fishing all the way to back beyond the bridge. Located at the quieter end of the island it was convenient for touring both the Fort Myers area and also the Bonita and Naples areas. Many fine beaches, including Lovers Key State Park seen directly across the pass from the unit and complex, are close by and worth the short trips, especially Barefoot Beach County Park with its nature trail to the pass across from the Delnoir-Wiggins Park. And besides the nice beach at the complex, it is a super take off spot for boating and kayaking in Estero Bay. Rented a kayak from the state park and enjoyed the paddle and fishing around the Bay and into the mangrove lagoons. Power boat rentals are just up the road as our conveniences like the Publix, gift shops, post office, and several nice restaurants in the Santa Marie Plaza. Enjoyed Doc Fords restaurant in the 'busy' part of FMB under the bridge, especially the great boiled shrimp and grouper. Plus, fresh seafood can be bought directly from the boats that dock there. I have already talked to Bill about returning...

We spent a wonderful week in this condo at Carlos Pointe. The booking process was smooth and the owners were very helpful and friendly, answering all our questions and even calling when we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. (not to mention Bill sharing his favorite fishing spots with us) The unit is exactly as described. It was very clean, well-maintained and had everything you are likely to need for a relaxing week at the beach, including beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. The showers were excellent - hot and powerful. The internet worked perfectly and it was handy to have a washer and dryer in the unit to do a small load. The unit is on the second floor and far enough away from the pool so as not to hear conversations yet easily accessible. The pool at Carlos Pointe is positioned right in front of the building and therefore you can be in the pool and looking at the gulf. Carlos Pointe is also at the quiet end of Fort Myers Beach which is why we prefer it. If you want to get to the busy North end, the shuttle bus stops right outside the building and is very convenient. The beach is beautiful and ideal for shelling. In our opinion, better than Sanibel. Fishing is good just off the beach and you can almost guarantee you will see dolphins daily. There is the added bonus of a table tennis table in the common area which we made great use of. All the people we met poolside were very friendly and it was our observation that this was an older crowd, mostly retirees and snow birds but we were there off season and maybe it is different at Spring break though it suited us perfectly. We had a truly relaxing week at Carlos Pointe and we would definitely stay both at Carlos Pointe and at this unit again. Thanks Bill and Brenda.

You couldn't ask for a more perfect beach vacation. White (clean) sandy beach with beautiful views. I hate crowds, so it was so nice to not worry about establishing "beach head". There is plenty of room on the beach to spread out and enjoy personal space. Lots of shoreline for walks. Easy access to the trolley that runs the length of Fort Myers Beach. Ample parking. Close to the South End Beach which is quick access on/off the island. The condo itself is very nice. Clean and complete with everything you need for your stay. Bill was extremely easy to work with. Arrival is hassle free, because Bill sends the keys to your home before your trip and you just mail them back.

We absolutely loved this unit. It was very clean, well furnished and maintained, and stocked with everything we needed from kitchen furnishings, linens and beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, and toys for children. That certainly saved us from packing or purchasing many of those items. The use of the in-unit washer and dryer was appreciated. The location of the complex (on a quiet stretch of beach) was wonderful...a great expanse of beach and not the least bit crowded. A nice pool area and barbeque area, too. The owners were extremely accommodating, always responded promptly to any questions we had, and were very helpful in suggesting good restaurants in the area. We would recommend renting this unit...the owners definitely made it a completely hassle-free process.

Relaxing time at the beach

We just returned from a week at the beach and had a wonderful, relaxing time. Bill was easy to work with and made our trip easier, even calling to make sure we had everything we needed. The complex and pool is well maintained and wasn't at all crowded during our stay. The condo has a great view over to Lovers Key State Park across the way, as well as a full view of the Gulf. We watched the dolphins from the balcony and from the waters edge, took nice walks along the beach, and brought back some great shells to add to our collection. We didn't rent a car, but relied on the trolley, which you can pick up right outside the building and it will take you north on the island to the grocery store and further north to Times Square where there are a few stores and restaurants. The condo is nicely decorated and completely stocked, from beach chairs & umbrella to all you need to cook meals. Definitely enjoyed our time and would highly recommend this condo for your visit to FMB.

We loved this condo! It was beautifully decorated, clean and every thing we needed, other than food, was there when we arrived. The grounds were very nicely maintained and the pool so clean and temporate. The view of the water and Lovers key from out balcony was breath taking. It was nice to be on the quiet end of the island and still have the option of taking the shuttle to find some shopping and nite life. The owners were wonderful to deal with, thank you Bill and Brenda for a great get away!

If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful condo - this is the place! Bill and Brenda were wonderful to rent from. They answered all of our questions before we arrived and Brenda even called to check in on us to make sure everything was fine when we got there. Their condo is lovely and clean and has everything that you would need. The view and the beach are just wonderful. We spend many hours in the water, on the beach, walking and relaxing. The trolley into town picks you up right across the street! I would definitely recommend their condo to anyone. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back. My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The unit was beautiful with an amazing view. Our boy's had a great time shelling on the beach. We flew into Ft. Myers and it was nice to come into the unit already stocked with beach toys for our boys, beach chairs, umbrella's, even a cooler!! It's a very warm feeling knowing that the owners take pride in their unit to ensure the visitors feel as if it is their home. I would highly reccommend this unit and plan to return in the future.

We returned from our vacation on Estero Island, Saturday, May 28, 2011. We spent 10 glorious days in total sunshine. The best part of our vacation was the lovely condo we rented at Carlos Pointe. The owners were very accommodating and answered all of our questions. The unit was clean and well maintained; it looked exactly like the photos. I was well stocked with linens, beach toys, games, reading materials and videos. We are no strangers to Carlos Pointe; however, if planning a vacation in Fort Myers, we would highly recommend this unit.

We had a wonderful time at the condo. It was clean and very nicely furnished and the location was excellent. Just far enough away from the congestion at the north end of the island and close to restaurants and the grocery store. When we had a question about the air conditioning, the owner was very prompt in getting us an answer and assistance with the thermostat. It was our problem, not the units and the owner was gracious and very helpful. I would recommend this unit to anyone who wants a beautiful condo on a part of the beach that is not crowded. We have stayed at several different condo complexes in the area and this is by far the nicest one and we plan on returning. This is primarily an adult complex with very few children at the pool and we appreciated the ability to carry on conversations at pool side.

We spent Christmas 2010 (2 weeks) at Carlos Pointe. The condo was fully equipped, and other than needing a few more beach towels, all was good. Proximity to the State Park was a real plus, and exiting the island via Bonita Springs saved on return through the island. The owners were gracious to let us in several hours early, and they were available for any questions. Great family spot!

Our stay at Carlos Pointe was one of the best places we have stayed in Ft Myers Beach ! The condo was very comfortable and had everything that was needed to make for a great getaway from the winter blues. The pool area was my favorite; as well as the beautiful expansive beachfront. The location is beautifully situated across from Lover's Key State Park and away from the crowds of the north end. Bill ,Brenda and the staff was extremely accommodating in making sure we had everything we needed. The transaction was smooth and easy. Hope to return in the years to come.

Came on vacation w/ my husband our 2 kids and my parents for 2 weeks. The owners were great from the start w/ getting back to me promptly about making a reservation the place to answering questions I had prior to arrival to even calling the day we got there to make sure we had everything there and that there were no problems! They even made it possible for me to have items delivered to the condo for my kids so they were there when we arrived which was a huge help!! The condo was beautiful and had all the necessary items that you could need for the beach (chairs, umbrella, cooler, toys etc) and was all newly remodeled and decorated. There was also alot of items there already such as toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap etc which was nice since we got in very late and couldn't go to the store till the next morning. The pool was kept very clean and the pool area as well. Really liked the refrigerator/freezer that was in the eating area you could use to put drinks or snacks in! The beach is very private not very many people down there at all which was nice and relaxing (same with the pool) and there were always boats going by and we got to see dolphins several times!! The beach has tons of shells if you like to collect them, but you might want to bring beach shoes with you esp if you have younger ones as one of my kids got a shell stuck in his foot while playing in the water. The beach had some grassy areas which wouldn't of been so bad if there were not sand spurs in it (had to always wear shoes) but we were told its not usually there by other people who were at the condo and the owner and they actually had most of it cleaned up by the time we were leaving but that is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to the beach. The condo and the pool area I would give 5 stars just the beach needed alittle attention (which it was getting). Very close to area restaurants and only about a 10 minute drive to the North end with the shops and pier. Overall we had a fantastic time and I would recommend this place to anyone going to FMB.

Lovely condo. Everything you need, the owners have made available! I would certainly stay here again and recommend to anyone! Close to the elevator, easy beach and pool access. Owners have beach chairs/towels, rafts, toys for the kids, water noodles etc. they thought of everything. Lots of parking available. Found a new resturant (for us) that I would strongly recommend-The Bistro directly on the bay behind Publix. Also, the Publix on the island is not overpriced as one might expect. They are well stocked, friendly and helpful.

This condo was perfect for our family of 5, which includes 3 teenagers. It was spacious, clean and had all the ammenities of home. The owners were in town during our stay and were so helpful and accommodating. The beach is just a few steps away. The water was clear and refreshing and the beach was clean with an abundance of shells. Eventhough the condo is toward the end of the beach, you are still very close to shopping and great restaurants. We are already making plans for next summer!

Our stay at this condo couldn't have been better. The condo was clean and well maintained as well as the property itself. Everything listed in the description and photos is very accurate. The owner was extremely helpful and just so happened to be on site the week we were there. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a quiet get away with miles of beach almost to yourselves. There are plenty of shells on the beach if you like looking for that sort of thing and plenty of restaurants with minimal to almost no wait times to get in and the food was good. Thanks again to the owner for letting us rent his condo.

The condo is beautiful and well maintained. We did not want or need anything during our stay. The owners were very friendly, helpful, and just a phone call away. It was very quiet- away from the hustle and bustle of Fort Meyers and its traffic, but yet close enough for a nice dinner or a quick shopping trip. The beach is beautiful and secluded. My children enjoyed the pool, the sand volleyball court, and the abundance of shells on the beach. We were even fortunate enough to see many dolphins. The current was a bit strong when we were there, but my children adored playing the many tide pools. We had a fantastic time!
