About the owner: Hi everyone. I live in Calgary, AB but have loved the Island since visiting repeatedly with my family as a child. I teach post-secondary business, run a small business consulting firm and manage a portfolio of other properties in Calgary and Fort McMurray. This one, however, is a keeper and intended to be the retirement home for my wife and I. In the meantime it is yours to enjoy!
Why the Owner Chose Qualicum Beach:
A well-planned community with a high priority placed upon sustainability and superb quality and workmanship. I loved the central island location with easy access to all attractions and amenities of the Oceanside area, but also quick manageable drive times to Tofino and Victoria.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Backing right onto the lovely grassy area, about 30 steps to the pool/rec centre. My family and I have enjoyed this home the past three summers and my wife and I love the fact that we can feed the kids, then push them out the back door where they can run and play freely in the spacious open green area. Then when we're at the pool, it's a mere few seconds to run back to the house for a towel, sunscreen or whatever else we forget.
