  Hands down, this was the best beachhouse experience that my family has ever had. The house was even better than advertised and comfortably accommodated the entire group. We've never been that close to the beach and the elevated back deck allowed us to spend some time back at the house while the kids spent morning, day, and into the night playing on the beach. There are multiple different rooms that provide incredible views of the sunrise/sunset and the bay itself. One particular highlight for us was the cleanliness and comfort of the living room and kitchen. Especially juxtaposed against our expectations for a typical "beachhouse" living room, this was a real treat. Extremely comfortable furniture with a very nice big screen HDTV made the evenings just as enjoyable as the days were. In summary, the house exceeded our expectations and we definitely plan to return.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

  We had a wonderful time at your home in Broadkill beach. My husband and I always vacation at the beach and we can honestly say this is the best place we have ever stayed at. The house and location couldn't have been any better. How you advertise your house is actually the way it is. Quiet, relaxing, beautiful, spacious house and rooms, etc. I can't begin to tell you how excited we were to get away and your house was just perfect. The house and location exceeded all of our expectations. Not only is the house beautiful, the layout of the rooms and the furnishings and items provided are all top notch. The location on the beach couldn't have been any better. I think at any one time the most people on the beach, including the four of was, was about 12. It doesn't get any better than that. We enjoyed the privacy that the house has to offer - you can go to many spaces to spend quiet time alone if you want - or just relax on any of the decks. We also got the chance to watch some dolphins playing in the water. I could go on and on about every single detail but I will just say that everything was excellent and we couldn't have chosen a better place to spend a relaxing time together as a family. I am already thinking about next year and planning to book your house again, maybe even for 2 weeks. My husband and I have two daughters that are both married and have children and your house would be perfect for all of us to vacation together. Again, thank you for sharing your house with others so that it can be enjoyed by many people and provide lasting memories that will never fade. I would recommend your property to anyone - I believe it fits the requirements for anyone who would like to spend some time at the beach, whether it be quiet time or lots of activities, your house is perfect!

  This house truly is heaven on earth. This was our first experience renting a beach house and we couldn't have been more pleased with the house and location. The views from every room are absolutely beautiful. The property was immaculately maintained and the owners were extremely helpful in answering our questions. Our family enjoyed going for long walks on the gorgeous beach every evening. The calm water was perfect for my sons, ages 7 and 9, who played on the beach and in the water until they fell into bed in their cozy room every night. The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous and the views really are to die for! The whole house is filled with natural light and the sounds of peaceful waves. We enjoyed this house so much that we started talking about going back on the drive home! If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, enjoy time with family, and be awestruck by the beauty of the ocean, this is the place.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

  Again we were fortunate to spend a wonderful week in your beautiful home. Such a fantastic set-up. The kids were able to just fall out on to the beach every day. They made friends they saw every day in the waves. Although we thought we might do more, we did what we needed--sleep, relax, and restore. The kids are already asking to come back next year.

  Our family of 8 has enjoyed your home so much this past week. We didn't go anywhere or do anything other then enjoy each others company on the beach and in the house. What an amazing place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of life and to sit back and enjoy these amazing views. Thank you!

  Our trip was much too short. Your home is beautiful and we loved the peaceful surroundings. We would love to come back soon and stay longer next time! P.S. The doughnuts at the Broadkill Store were a great suggestion too!

  I lovely place for a three generation family reunion, especially one that includes golf lovers, beach wanderers and twin toddlers. The kitchen is so well equipped, the house open and airy. We hope to come back again.

  What a fabulous week! The house is aptly named. A week at "Tranquility" is what we needed. We plan to return soon. It was so relaxing and beautiful.
