First visit to the NC coast was a success! The house was clean and beautiful, in a quiet neighborhood. Beds in all four bedrooms were comfortable. Lots of parking space available if needed. Beach access right across the road. Enclosed outdoor shower was convenient for rinsing the sand off before entering the house. Matt and Jon were great to work with when planning this trip. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at One More Saturday Night - this was the first time our family went away for Thanksgiving - and we are ready to start a new tradition - the house was great - everything that we needed - even when cooking a full thanksgiving dinner - plenty of room and a quick access to the beach- I would highly recommend this house and we will certainly be back.

While planning our trip Matt,the owner, was so easy to work with and very prompt with answers to all my questions. When we arrived Jeaneal, our contact was always available and ready to help! We really enjoyed his beach house! It was very well maintained and very clean! It is an easy walk to the beach. It was especially nice to not have to bring our own linens (we've had to do this at other houses we've rented). If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing, family beach vacation I'd recommend this house.

We had a really great time at the beach house. This was the first time that we had stayed on Topsail Island, and we really enjoyed it. We loved how close we were to the beach and the way that we could sit out on the decks and see and hear the ocean. My husband really enjoyed the fish market and went up there several times to get fresh shrimp and fish (behind the Crab Pot). The house was great - clean and simple to keep clean. We appreciate the way the landlord worked with us so that we could attend our friends daughter's wedding. We would recommend this vacation rental to anyone.

The house met the needs of myself, husband and grown children. The beds were comfortable and the three bathooms were a dream....especially the master with the jacuzzi tub. The weather was changeable because of T.S. Ernesto, but we managed to get to the beach and in the ocean 6 out of 7 days and I have a great tan to prove it. The island has a very interesting Sea Turtle Rehab Hospital where volunteers care for the turtles injured by boats. There are many great eating establishments such as Daddys Mac's where we ate on the deck overlooking the beach and ocean. There is a place we had ices where we sat outside and played checkers. Walking along the beach at nite as a family or pkaying frisbee during the day made for special memories at One More Saturday Night!!! Thank you Matt for being a great host from beginning to end.

My family really enjoyed this beach home. It was clean and very up to date, not to mention being right across from the beach access. Everything was so convenient all we had to do was just relax and enjoy our vacation. Big screen LCD TV's were great!! Perfect for watching the Open when the wind was blowing too hard to stay on the beach. This is the best value on the beach and I know becasue I researched extensively!

We recently had a fantastic stay at this property. Two families, 5 kids total, were very comfortable in this home. The home had very nice amenities (AC, TV/Cable, W/D, Internet), a great kitchen and two porches. Rental home is about 100 yards from a kid-friendly beach on a dead-end street. Check-in and check-out were very easy, and the owner was very proactive and helpful setting up the rental. Home was clean, neighborhood was quiet and we had some great meals in town. We will rent again!

2012 2 week Beach Vacation

This house was the perfect location for families. On a quiet dead end street. Across from the beach but great access to beach. Was not crowded on beach. House was set up great. Enclosed outdoor shower to wash sand off before entering home. 3 bedrooms downstairs for privacy, upstairs very open kitchen and den to move around. Loved the huge dining table. Great outdoor furniture on the deck. Hammock was very relaxing to lie in and hear the ocean. We noticed most other houses did not have deck furniture or if they did it was plastic. Kitchen was fully stocked and useful since we cooked often. We caught fish from deep sea fishing and was able to bake and fry with no problems. My family enjoyed wifi to look up things to do each day. Overall it was the best 2 week relaxing family vacation we have taken in a long time! The pictures on the Internet were exactly like the actual home. When we arrived we were greeted and shown the house . It was very clean and neat. A storm did come through one day and knocked out power and the modem to Internet went out. The owner had it replaced the next day. Plenty of great resturants to eat.everyine we ate I'm had what we wanted. Plenty of activities around the area. We went kayaking, sightseeing, deep sea fishing and hung out at the beach. I would highly recommend this property to anyone that wants to have a relaxing beach vacation at Surf City.

Wow!! We were elated all week before we got there!! But once we actually got to the beach house.. Wow we were sooo excited to be there.. Jon was standing there waiting for us and he was so nice!! Matt was awesome!! He answered every call and was very friendly!! One more Saturday night was enjoyable for our whole family!! We will definitely return soon!! Thank you Matt!!just make sure you bring insect spray because there were a few spiders.. But you can't complain about that because they can be anywhere!! It was a great home away from home.. It looks better in person.. I give it two thumbs up!!!

As with our last visit. First morning breakfast at the NY deli. A quick trip to get some groceries and the rest of the week relax and enjoy the time with our grand kids. Matt is always a pleasure to work with and goes out of his way to make sure everything is right. The house is in a great location right by the beach and stocked with all you need. We will definately return.

Our family had a great time at ONE MORE SATURDAY NIGHT! The location on a quiet street right across from the beach access was so convenient! The kids loved the selection of board games in the house, and the hammock and rocking chairs on the deck were so relaxing! There were plenty of dishes, glasses, cups and silverware in the kitchen and, best of all,no bugs (which isn't always the case at many beach homes)! Matt, the owner, was so prompt in responding to all our questions! We will treasure the marvelous memories our family made during our beach trip! :)

This house is neat and clean. Just steps from the beach and a short walk to downtown Surf City. An ideal location. It housed our crew of five adults and two children with no problem. Working with Matt was a pleasure. He responded to all of our requests and questions quickly. That helped tremendously while we were making our final decision. The pictures of the house are accurate and it is fully stocked. One quick trip to the nearby food store and we were set for lazy days on the beach. Our grandchildren loved the outdoor shower almost as much as the beach. The Luna pops were excellent and the New York Corner Deli served a very good breakfast. We would definately reccommend a stay, it is worth the trip!

With seven stays in the Surf City area, this was one of the better houses. The layout worked well for our extended family needs. There was enough flatware and dishes! Working with the owner on the details of the contract was straigth forward, timely, with no complications. We would stay here again.

We had as relaxing a trip to the beach as you could ever want to have at this house. First of all, the home owner could not have been easier to work with, extremely prompt on answering all questions and making sure our experience was smooth. The house is just as advertised. My wife and I particularly enjoyed the wide, wide open floor plan in the upstairs living room/kitchen area. It was us and a few friends, and we had some great nights cooking and eating and a ton of room to just lounge after a day at the beach. Bedrooms were nice size, and three full baths made it very comfortable for a group of people, whether it be a family or a group of friends. Two balconies with rocking chairs, one off upstairs living room and one off downstairs bedroom, got plenty of use. House was very clean and welcoming. Really loved the location, on a street that was almost private. To say steps from the beach is no understatement. Literally the other side of the road to a planked walkway that has you on the beach in two minutes. Surf City is a great location if you don't want to be in the middle of a place like Myrtle. Beaches beautiful and not overcrowded. Morning runs on the beach down to the pier less than a mile away. House so close to the beach you could leave your chair and blanket, head up to the house for lunch and be back in the sun in a couple of minutes. Surf City is a quiet little beach town, but has just enough in the way of shops, restaurants, etc that if you want to be a bit more tourist-y or head into town for a dinner out or an ice cream, you can. Almost all within a mile of house. We were looking for a place where we could easily be on the beach, have a quick walk back to a house where we could cook and laugh and hang with friends, and that is just what we got. I would also recommend this place for families looking for a relaxing week at the beach, or even couples looking for a nice, quiet getaway. Very clean, very nice, great floor plan for groups, great location, and an owner that was as nice as I've ever worked with. Really could not have been happier.

We love Topsail Island, and this house was perfect for us. We were 3 adults and 4 children, and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, if needed. The teenagers had shops to walk to, and the 3 year old had a quiet, dead-end street to play near. The beach was right across the street, about a 2 minute walk. The owner was wonderful to deal with, quickly responding to any questions and making sure we immediately received a cable that needed to be replaced. The kitchen had everything we needed when we wanted to cook or bake at home. We love the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital in nearby Topsail Beach, Long Island Pizza, Sears Landing Restaurant, and Luna Pops. The kids enjoyed the nearby surf shops. We drove to Wilmington one day and were pleasantly surprised by the Cape Fear History and Science Museum. I would recommend this property to my friends and relatives.

Great house!!! Listing was accurate for location, appearance and amenities. House had everything you would need. Owner was very responsive to all questions or concerns. Our first vacation in this area with the whole family/grandkids was wonderful. The teens loved the home and it was very clean and spacious for the baby and baby's things. We ate out several times but really enjoyed the huge well-equipped kitchen. We are planning on remodeling our own master bath to match the one at 1 More Saturday Night! Quiet street but perfect location for morning walks to various coffee and breakfast places. We enjoyed walks on the beach, the Turtle Hospital, roller skating at the rink, shopping and kayaking.

Great Family Reunion

We have 2 sons in the USAF, stationed in NC and SC, so this was an excellent area to meet in. We had to drive in from AR, but it was so worth the drive. The house is really nice and very well maintained. There was more than enough room with 6 adults and one 4 yr old. The bedrooms were a great size with lots of closet space and dressers. Gave the upstairs master to our newly married son and his wife, it was huge and the bathroom awesome!! The kitchen and living area was very spacious and had great furnishings (loved the table and chairs for the kitchen). Spent a lot of time on the porches (even though my granddaughter flipped me out of the hammock)!! Our granddaughter loved the outdoor shower, came in real handy. The house is in an excellent location with only a short walk to the beach, a quiet cul de sac, lots of shopping, great restaurants and a grocery store. Also cooked several meals and bought fresh seafood. The owner was so easy to work with…would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Had a wonderful time reading on the beach, taking walks up & down the beach & to the pier via the beach & sometimes back via the road. Only a mile away. We even swam in the ocean & rented bikes to tool around town from a great place called Herrings just a 5 minute walk from the house. It's very close to restaurants & we could've walked had we chosen to. We did walk to a place called Luna Pops for evening treats! The house was fantastic as it was bright & airy and clean. Plenty of living space & bedrooms for a comfortable stay. Great water pressure, too! And no maintainence issues.

MILITARY MUST FOR FAMILIES

We have been renting in the Topsail area for 3.5 years. THis is BY FAR the best place we have ever rented, the homeowners are very responsive. 20 minutes to CLJ back gate off of Sneeds Ferry Rd. Not sure how or why we rented elsewhere before. This is a DEFINITE TOP PLACE to stay if you have a need for 4 bdrms, 2 minute walk to the beach, 20 min. drive to CLJ. We rented for 2 weeks, and would have rented for 2.5 weeks if it were available (someone else already had it rented). Quick drive to Grocery, great dining, walks and runs on the beach. We cooked most days, and had everything we needed. Great plus was the two porches. WONDERFUL! Bottom line, Highly recommend!

This property is wonderful. We had 6 adults and had lots of room. The bedrooms are very spacious, the kitchen had everything you needed and living room area was very spacious. Nice view from both balconies. Just a short walk to the beach. The owner was great about answering all questions and e-mails we had very promptly. The house is wll maintained and the outdoor shower was a major plus. This is a great property and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a very affordable vacation spot.

Awesome vacation rental!

We had a great stay at 1 More Saturday Night. Our family of 5 (children 9, 6 & 4) fit comfortably here and it was a very short walk (especially with the kids) to a very nice beach. We enjoyed many hours building sandcastles, boogie boarding, looking for shells and hoping for the turtle egg nests to hatch. Having the house on a dead end street was a huge bonus as there were very few cars that came by. The local grocery store and restaurants are under a mile away and you could even rent a bicycle or take a long walk to get around. Try the local LunaPops store for a great variety of popsicles (I loved the coconut sesame ginger) and the Turtle Hospital at the South end of the Island (check their website for hours). The house was clean and adequately furnished for our needs and the outdoor shower was really helpful. The owner was very prompt returning calls/e-mails & we were called several times to make sure we were ok when Hurricane Earl was making it's way up the coast.

We stayed at this property for a week with our 3 small children (4, 2 and 6 months). The house was excellent, very suitable for our needs and plenty of space. It was clean and tidy and well equipped and the kitchen more than adequate for cooking for a family of 5. The very short walk to the wonderful beach was great - easy to pop home for lunch and naps. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck for a few drinks in the evening and listening to the waves on the beach. Topsail Island is a lovely, quiet, laid back destination and the beach was perfect for adults and children alike. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to go back again.

Enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with family and have enough room for all of us. Great to have 3 baths. Lower deck was shaded most of the time and great for the grandparents to enjoy. Clean and no smoking in house make it nice for families with kids. Kitchen well equipped and supplies available. Short walk to the beach. Great price and even better memories.

This was an awesome rental home for our family! We had our family of 5 (all adult children) and 3 friends along and there was plenty or room for all. It was clean, spacious and stocked with everything we needed for the week. We liked the fact the the beach was less than a 5 minute walk and that we were just a few minutes driving time from a small grocery and several local fun restaurants! Definitely a place to revisit!

Our stay at 1 More Saturday Night was wonderful. It is a beautiful home with LOTS of space. It is perfect for a family with children. This house is VERY relaxing and private. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. We LOVED the outdoor shower, big rooms, balcony/hammock, and kitchen. It was just a hop to the beach. The owner is very attentive and quick to respond to your every question or need. I would recommend this property to anyone!

We love Surf City and we LOVED our stay at 1 More Saturday Night! The house was even better than described. It is located on a dead end street which meant we did not have to worry about traffic when the kids were outside. It was only a short drive to the shops and resturants and a very very short walk to the beach. The house was very clean and large enough for our group of 11. The owner is excellent. He answered all questions and emails very quickly and was very helpful in letting us know what activities were going on around the area while we were there. It was so nice to deal directly with the owner and not a rental agency! We will be returning to this house on our next trip to Topsail Island and I would highly recommend it to any family who is looking for the perfect, carefree beach vacation!!!
