We could not be more pleased with our stay at this wonderful little house. The owner is gracious and welcoming. It was very comfortable and within easy walking distance of Greenlake park and to many great resturants. If we ever return to Seattle this house would be our first choice to rent again. I would definately recommend this property to my family and friends.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

The cottage is more charming than its photos admit. Very comfortable with all possible amenities accounted for. The location is quiet with easy access everywhere. A great neighborhood to walk in with incredible bus access. Linda gives you all of the information you need to explore and take care of essentials.Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Had a a lovely time at the cottage. Linda made us feel right at home. So convenient to the bus line, as we did not have a car. Also close to coffee shops, grocery, and bistros. Would definitely stay there again.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage in the Phinney neighborhood. The cottage is very comfortable for either a short or long stay, and the owner went out of her way to help us and to enhance our stay with reading material and great suggestions for things to do that matched our interests. This rental is In a fabulous location, close to many movie theaters, bike paths, green lake for exercise, downtown theaters and museums, as well as the highway for longer excursions in Wa. The washer/dryer, great local supermarkets,and new tv made this a great home base for us,and we enjoyed the beautiful residential neighborhood.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Thank you so much Linda for our wonderful stay in Seattle. The cottage was perfect for my three year old son and I. And what a bonus to have fresh lettuce every night from your garden and children's books from your house. Gavin loved helping you in your garden and meeting Louise. Your condo was so homey and comfortable. You have thought of everything. The bed is very comfortable and the linens are superior. The kitchen was the perfect size and I was able to cook dinner every night. And the location couldn't have been better for our house hunting. Parking was very easy. We found a space every time right in front. Even when the huge car show on Greenwood Ave was taking place. We will definitely be sending our friends and family your way when they come to Seattle to visit! Thank you again for everything!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife, toddler, and I enjoyed our stay at Linda's Phinney Ridge cottage. It was wonderfully appointed and featured everything we were looking for: a kitchen, washer and dryer, outdoor area, and amazing location. Linda was a great host and accommodated some last-minute changes to our schedule. On top of all of that, the rate was very affordable. If we visit Seattle again (and we plan to), we'll be coming back here.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

As a former Greenwood neighborhood resident, I was pleased to find this cottage to rent, rather than stay at the downtown conference hotel. As noted in some previous descriptions, the location of this cottage is ideal to various attractions and literally steps away from public transportation. You could easily do without a car since the Phinney/Greenwood neighborhood is walkable. There are plenty of restaurants, shops, cafes, etc to choose from. The owner, Linda, is so kind and friendly. The cottage was quite comfortable and has all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend this cottage to others and plan to return again in summer 2011. Thanks to Linda for making my stay stress-free!Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This was the perfect spot for our month-long stay in Seattle. The location is fantastic -- a ten minute walk from Green lake, right around the corner from the public branch library, a few blocks from the bus route to downtown Seattle. The cottage provided us all the space we needed. The kitchen is well equipped for home-cooked meals with a well stocked grocery a few blocks away. On many days, walking along the ridge, we had mountain views in both directions. The owner who lives right next door is friendly (home baked apple gingerbread was left outside our door one morning) and helpful. We will definitely return.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Things we loved about this cottage... * Plently of room for the 4 of us (Queen bed, Twin air mattress, Pack-n-play) * Lots of baby accessories available (pack-n-play, changing pad, bouncy chair, baby tub, high chair) * Very cozy, with lots of natural light * Within driving distance of tourist activities (downtown, zoo, ferry boats, parks) * Very clean and modern * Washer/dryer in unit The only down sides... * Parking was difficult only 2 out of 10 times * There weren't many fast food places close by We love renting houses instead of hotels. This place was priced very well and in a great locations. It was perfect for us and we were so happy to have found it! The owner was great, and since she was onsite, she lent us a vase and some batteries. I highly recommend this VRBO home.Recommended for: Families with young children
