Awesome time in SF

Modern, comfortable, great neighborhood, well equipped, clean, practical... two great neighborhood restaurants the owners recommended were literally just down the street (Bacca & Firefly) - really enjoyed them after fun but long days in the city. Nice assortment of current "things to do" & "getting around SF" from maps to magazines made it easy to help plan the day for some first timers. (very thoughtful touch there.) We dropped off our rental car prior to getting to SF and using public transport or cabs was the way to go. Would definitely return - thanks for a great stay!!!

My husband and I always rent houses/flats when we travel. We love to get into the neighbourhoods and to shop and cook and hang out with the locals. This beautiful flat was the perfect location for us. The Noe Valley/24th Street area was great. We walked and shopped and enjoyed the community especially the Irish pub - The Dubliner - on 24th.We parked our car on the street and didn't get into it again for 4 days. We had a transit pass and loved moving around on streetcars, buses and cable cars. They say no one is more than 2 blocks from some kind of transit in San Francisco and that proved true for us. We loved being in this part of town as it put us closer to Golden Gate Park. The flat was very clean and well decorated, the kitchen well fitted out and the bedroom large with a very comfortable bed. Emails to Kelly before our arrival were answered quickly and our arrival at the flat was easy. This flat is great for anyone who likes to stay in a real part of a city and is willing to travel to sites.

We just stayed at this apartment in Noe Valley for one week and will come back again for a couple of days in October. We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this place for anyone visiting San Francisco. It is clean, nicely furnished, equipped with everything you need and situated in a pleasant area with shops, restaurants, etc. – we felt it was much nicer than staying in a hotel! The owners live upstairs and are happy to help out. We were travelling with our baby daughter, and on arrival we found a crib, highchair, bibs and some toys in the apartment, which were highly appreciated. Parking is no problem close to the apartment and public transport was easy to use (our tip for getting downtown: instead of taking bus #48 & BART, try this much nicer alternative: walk a few blocks to Castro St, take bus #24 to Castro/Market and hop on a historic streetcar that will take you downtown or even all the way to Fisherman's Wharf). We are looking forward to returning in October!

My wife and I really enjoy staying in apartments in residential neighborhoods when visiting another city. It makes it more like you're living there and not just visiting. This apartment really fits the bill and was a great experience overall! The immediate area is quiet but very convenient to the livelier areas of Noe Valley. We loved exploring the main business district on 24th Street, just a short walk down the street. Everything one would need is on 24th Street (grocery store, shops, dry cleaners, restaurants, pharmacy/convenience store, bike shop, bakery, wine shops, salons, bagels/donuts, etc.). And the architecture is classic San Francisco. Since we know SF realy well already we weren't out all day doing the touristy stuff so we found ourselves at the apartment quite a bit. It's a great space, very cozy, and warm. We loved hanging out there. There's a great restaurant just half-block away (Firefly) and the bus stop is also conveniently located a half-block away. It was a 5-minute bus ride to the 24th St/Mission BART station. After a day, we picked up a rental car and we never had a problem finding a spot to park (within a half block), even after midnight. The owners were very nice and accessible for questions but didn't hover either. If and when we return to the Bay Area we will seriously consider staying at this apartment again!

Charming apartment with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Proximity to San Francisco centre and transport links were excellent. Noe Valley and surrounding neighborhoods also have plenty to offer and some very good restaurants. Apartment itself was clean, comfortable and private. Owners were very friendly and helpful, yet not intrusive. Would definitely stay again and recommend this apartment.

A very well appointed, clean, modern and comfortable apartment. It exceeded expectations and served us well as a base to visit our son & his family and to touch base with the the daily life in Noe Valley. The owners were totally committed to helping us enjoy our stay. If only we could find similar quality in our other visits to hoiday destinations. I would reccommend the apartment to anyone wanting a relaxing, comfortable and friendly welcome to this part of the city, and, should the occaission arise, would return for a secnd stay.

my boyfriend and I had a great 2 week stay here, it had everything we needed and more for relaxing and using as a base for exploring the city. the transport was pretty good - but we also dont mind walking a bit, and it was worth it to stay somewhere quiet. the area has everything you will need.

This apartment was everythign we needed and more. It was a very sweet, clean and and cozy! The owners are so accomodating which was refreshing. The only thing I was worried about was the distance to a good night life scene since we were also in town to have a good time... that wasn't a problem at all! We were very short distance to the Mission District where we met friends and we quickly learned the bus lines and BART system. It was all very convenient and almost too easy of a stay. :) If we ever visit San Francisco again, this would definitely be my choice.

Lovely clean apartment in a fantastic area, parking was free and never a problem although we could easily have managed without a car as transport was convenient and frequent. I visited with my wife and young daughter, we stayed here for 5 nights in August and had a great time. We were really pleased with the apartment and we loved Noe Valley, everyone who has seen our holiday photos has said how nice the apartment looked. It was the perfect place to relax after a long and tiring road trip through California, much nicer and more relaxing than staying in a hotel. Owners were nice and friendly, we’d happily stay here again and I'd recommend it to anyone.

We loved our time in this rental. The price is the same, if not less, than an average hotel room, but includes and beautifully furnished full bedroom, bath and sitting room with a larger-than-average kitchenette (full fridge). The street provided sufficient parking to allow us to take the care out whenever we needed without fear of a long return parking search, though with the park across the street and neighborhood amenities, we actually used it less than we expected. We look forward to staying again next time we're in SF>
