This is a cozy little one-bedroom apartment very close to many Seattle attractions. My husband and I stayed there for 6 nights, and we found it very comfortable with a nice little kitchen and free wifi so we could actually do some remote work there. The decoration is very pretty and the place was very clean and well maintained. The location is great - just a few blocks from the Space Needle, the lovely Queen Anne neighborhood, and several really good coffee shops and restaurants. There is also a QFC food store just three blocks away, and we were able to buy food for breakfasts and lunches there to save money on eating out. We had fun exploring the area on foot, going to the Gas Works park nearby along Lake Union, and the tiny little Trolley Hill park that is tucked up on a nearby hill. We purchased the garage parking and were glad we did, as the street parking nearby was often full. The place is in an apartment building on a steep hill, so you need to be prepared to do some hill climbing when you walk the neighborhood. The only negative I would report was that, as others have said, the walls were somewhat thin and you could hear noise from neighbors occasionally, although it was not that noticeable during our stay. The owner was very accommodating to our needs, very friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this property to others and I would stay there again myself.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers.

The condo is clean and decorated as pictured. Kitchen is fully stocked with cooking and baking utensils plus some salt& pepper, coffe & filters and the like. The location is great- several great restaurants, grocery store, busses, and the seattle center all within easy walking distance. The top of queen anne is also walking distance but a bit further. The parking situation is fine if you go in with managed expectations. Yes, there is free on-street parking. This is an urban, high density, neighborhood where most people do not have enough off-street parking. So, you can expect to sometimes find a spot right in front, or around the corner, and sometimes (especially if you come back later in the evening) you might have to walk several blocks, sometimes up hill. The only time this was a bit of a pain, for me, was moving in. But if you have small kids, don't like to walk, hate hills, etc, consider paying the fee for on-site parking. If you're planning to spend all your time in the city- skip a car. Use seattle's fantastic bus system, or even walk down town. Of course, cabs are an option too. My car spent the week parked, mostly unused. The downside is that the walls are very, very thin. You can hear everything your neighbors are doing. The first four nights I stayed, I was awoken/kept up by partying neighbors and people loudly stumbling back from the bars after they closed. After a particularly bad night where some of the neighbors were yelling and throwing things for an hour, at 2am, I finally had had enough and spoke to the property manager. I will say that the subsequent 3 nights were quiet (although people come an go at all hours, so you will hear the gate code being punched and the subsequent clanging of the gate). So, moral of the story is that if your neighbors are noisy- let the poperty manager know on day 1 so the rest of your stay is more peaceful! A private washer/dryer would be a nice upgrade to this unit.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
Owner response: As soon as we found out there was noise bothering this guest, we immediately took care of it (as she states). We were very sorry, but please know that this is NOT the norm. Of our 27 reviews, hers was the 4th to mention noise and mainly it is just the fact that the walls are thin. This does not seem to bother most people (or you would see it all over our reviews). If people in the building are being too loud, like music, etc, then we can put a stop to it right away, but it just doesn't usually happen. Please contact me with any questions or concerns. Thank you, Debra

The location of the appartment was perfect for us, as we did have familiy living near by. The appartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Especially the kitchen is well equipped. We were 2 adults and 2 children and it was tiny but absolutely okay for us. The only thing we didn't appreciate was the fold out bed in the living room. The matress is far too soft and it is like lying in a banana boat. The description is accurate, it was clean and well-maintained, maybe too much "nappies" around especially when you are travelling with children. The contact with the rental company was friendly and we would recommand this property to friends or relatives.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Great value. Spotless and nice view of city, particularly at night. Last 50 yds is steep uphill but it is a great space, close to Space Needle area, short walk to lower Queen Anne night stuff, and a quiet neighborhood complete with local coffee shops. Building is a bit dated 1960s style look but the apt is very fresh. Big QFC supermarket 3 short blocks away so easy to bring in food without car. I have stayed at other VRBO in SEA and this is a good value. Debra was very responsive in the reservation process and answering questions.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This place was large enough, clean, had everything you need in the kitchen, and also had a lovely, very comfortable bed. Though it's a little bit from downtown Seattle, it is walkable (1.5-2 miles) and accessible by bus. The only things that bothered us in the least were out of the owner's control. One is that the walls are quite thin, so if you happen to have neighbors throwing a party you will likely have to leave the apartment for any peace and quiet. We lucked out for the most part, but there were times when we heard every word of conversations, phones ringing, and loud music. The other thing is that the apartment is on a very steep incline, and after walking all day I have to say I dreaded walking up to the place. Otherwise, it certainly provided what we needed.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children.

Celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, this was a very nice and quiet place to serve as homebase for our visit to Seattle. We had quite the busy trip leaving early and returning late each day. The location was great for experiencing the neighborhood and easy access to the city, both walking and by public transportation. The condo was very comfortable, clean, and very well taken care of. If we didn't have such busy days and decided to stay indoors, this condo was very comfortable to spend the day in. We'd echo many of the positive comments from the other reviews about the condo, the safety and geography of the area, etc. If you really don't have to have a rental car, this location is excellent. We'd certainly consider staying here again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

The apartment was nice, clean and comfortable. Did hear neighbors upstairs and through the walls. But the worst part was the onstreet parking was always full and we had to park a couple of blocks away often on very steep streets.Recommended for: Sightseeing.
Owner response: We have an obligation to respond that this guest did not opt to purchase the $15/nt garage spot that is in the building. Please inquire if you would like a garage parking spot. It is on a first-come, first-served basis (shared with 2 other units), but it was indeed available when they booked. And please read our 20+ positive reviews! Let me know if you have any questions at all. Debra

Wonderful home away from home. Clean and very well stocked. Wonderful to come back to after a day of sightseeing or visiting with family. This unit is so conveniently located. You can easily walk to the Seattle Center or to Queen Anne. Public transportation is so great in Seattle that you can get anywhere very easily, really no need for a rental car. We even used the light rail to get to the airport. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend to our family who visit here often. One caution - this complex is on a very steep hill - must be physically able to walk on a steep incline - but that steep hill also gives a gorgeous view of Seattle.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We stayed at this nice, clean apartment for a full week in April that was accurately described on the website. This apartment was nicely decorated and close to a lot of Seattle's attractions like the space needle, monorail and Experience Music Project museum. Two full service grocery stores and a 7-11 were within convenient walking distance (8 blocks or less). Cooking and kitchen utensils were quite adequate for most standard dishes. Even had some herbs in a spice rack. The view of Seattle's skyline was quite beautiful, especially at night. The beds were reasonably comfortable (pull out couch bed had a thin mattress but it didn't have the usual bar in the back) and the neighbors were quiet as was the neighborhood. Beautiful spring gardens in the surrounding residential neighborhood were blooming nicely during our visit. Parking was usually but not always available on the street in front of the building. I suggest that you pay extra for the convenient garage parking under the building as long as you have a standard size car or smaller as the space was a bit too small for a big SUV or truck. My only warning about this place is that it is on a steep hill. I would not recommend it to anyone with mobility issues. Other than that it was great place and we would rent again and recommend it to our friends and family.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
