Very large, fully furnished three level condo located within walking distance to the Schweitzer Mountain lifts, shops, restaurants and nightlife. Fantastic views of the mountain. This condo easily sleeps 10 people. Large Master bedroom upstairs (plus full bath), Living room, dining room, full kitchen (half bath), and hot-tub room on the main floor and two large bedrooms and a bunk room downstairs (full b ath down here as well).
Washer, dryer and indoor garage with automatic opener. Cable TV and Broadband internet hookup. Everything you need to enjoy the mountain, Sandpoint, Lake Pend Oreille or the surrounding countryside inexpensively is here.

Our family spent 3 enjoyable nights at the condo in early August 2012. It was clean, well stocked, and beautifully furnished. Located right on Schweitzer Mountain within walking distance to the Village. Only a 10 minute drive into downtown Sandpoint. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a scenic spot to enjoy the mountain or any activities or dining in Sandpoint. You will love it! The owners are helpful and prompt in answering any questions you may have regarding the rental. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Spent a month in this lovely condo and found it exactly as described. Very well maintained and could have easily accomodated 10 people. If anything, I would say the pictures on the website do not do it justice. Owner was also super fast with responding back to questions which was much appreciated. Would highly recommend!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We recently rented this cabin for a weekend while attending a wedding. The cabin was well stocked, had a very usable kitchen, it was clean and it could have slept way more people than we had! They were not kidding when they said you could sleep 10, we were 5 and had tons of extra room. The cabin is in a great location with an awesome view. One could easily walk to the lodge from this cabin. I would highly recommend this for a group or family looking for an extremely reasonably priced wonderful rental!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: Jon and Carol Davis. My wife and I bought this condo five years ago. We fell in love with Sandpoint the first time we saw it. I was looking for an all season sports with good skiing, hiking and fishing -- and you can't find a better spot than Sandpoint, Schweitzer Mountain, the Sellkirks and Lake Pend Oreille to provide high quality in all those areas. My wife was looking for a bit of culture (arts, music, dining) and we found that at Sandpoint as well with superb restaurants, art galleries and the renowned annual Sandpoint Summer Festival and the Wooden Boat show -- we found this to be an incredible place.
Why the Owner Chose Schweitzer Mountain:
We chose to buy on the mountain, because we wanted to be able to walk to the ski lifts during the winter months and in the summer -- a place where we could easily drive to town and the lake. The condo is big and we have enjoyed it immensely for both summer and winter family vacations. For us, the mountain location gave us everything we needed (not to mention spectacular views) to enjoy everything Schweitzer and Sandpoint offered.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
I've skied all over the world, but have never found a place like Schweitzer. Short lift lines, fantastic snow and in my mind the best tree skiing anywhere on the planet. This place is a real treat for skiers of all ability brackets. They also have some great cross-country and snow shoe trails that my wife and I enjoy that we can walk to from the condo. In the summer, great fishing can be found on the mountain (hike up to one of the alpine stocked lakes) or drive to Lake Pend Oreille for trophy trout fishing or drive a short distance to fish the many streams in the area. Sometimes we like to take the lifts up to the top of the mountain and hike the many trails back down to the village where the condo and hot-tub awaits!
