Panama City condo description
Treasure Island Resort Condominium is on the quiet east end of Thomas Drive in Panama City Beach near St. Andrews state park. The resort opened in August, 2005, and everything is now ready for your stay. The 120 foot long heated pool is open with deck chairs and gazebos, the fitness room with Gulf view is ready, and the sugar white sandy beaches await.
Each floor at Treasure Island has only 12 condos, and the building is served by four high speed elevators. It has nine (9) foot ceilings, and is decorated in the contemporary style with high quality furnishings and appointments. Rent directly from us and save!
Our Treasure Island condo accommodates up to 8 guests. It has two bedrooms and a built in bunk bed area, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area adjacent to the kitchen, a great room, full sized washer and dryer in a separate utility room, and a thirty (30) foot long by nine (9) foot wide Gulf front balcony. It is very hard to find a 2 bedroom in Panama City Beach with a larger balcony.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed and directly faces the Gulf of Mexico with sliding glass doors to the balcony. The guest bedroom has a queen sized bed, and there are built in twin bunks off the dining area. The living room does have a pull out couch. The great room has sliding glass doors with access to the Gulf front balcony.
Treasure Island is a family friendly resort located in the exclusive Thomas Drive section of Panama City Beach. It has covered parking in a structure with covered walkovers to the condo building at the third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors.
The Treasure Isalnd front office does charge a $20 one time fee per condo upon arrival for parking passes and pool bands.
They also charge $40 to bring a dog. Only one dog per condo is allowed and the dog must be less than 30 lbs.
These charges are their charges and are not ours and are not included in our fees.

Water everywhere! Our families got together and rented this stunning high floor unit with Emerald Coast Destinations this winter. Let me tell ya, there are huge windows everywhere and you can see the ocean in its full grace and magnificence. Also, the place had a long bar counter and a large, extensive sofa with armchairs next to it. We could all fit in the living room with no problem and have some evening chat together. Also, the unit was fully stocked with everything ten people need. This was very thoughtful, in my opinion. I give this unit a high five and highly recommend it.

Treasure Island is one of the best resorts in east end of Panama city beach. We have stayed at many resorts but we like this place better. Main reason they are pet friendly, we do not travel without our little chihuahua. It works out perfectly. The unit we stayed in this time was the best of what we have stayed. The room is exactly the same as it is pictured, maybe better in real I think.Spacious balcony. Overall, we had a nice stay, we all happy.

I think this unit is all you need for a family with kids. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Usually sleeper sofa`s not comfortable, but the sofa in this unit was just perfect. My kids had a blast. Balconies are huge, it is really roomy compare to other condos on the beach. This condo can`t be any closer to the water. We are planning to come back next year. Thank you.

We really did have a nice time there, and I very much enjoyed the room and the beach. This 2 bedroom condo is very nicely decorated, very comfortable beds and clean.Balconies are huge, every moment of our stay was unforgettable. I would recommend this particular unit to everyone The sand was white, powdery, and beautiful, and the water was crystal clear most of the time. We did get some pretty bad jellyfish activity, and also some seaweed moved in after we had been there a few days. I suppose those things are seasonal, or maybe unpredictable, and it was clear that seaweed and jellyfish were not the norm. I don't know if you can plan around that or not. We took the shuttle boat from the state park out to Shell Island, only a few minutes away. That is a must-do. Shell Island on the gulf side is absolutely beautiful, with water and sand that rival anything I have seen in the Caribbean or Hawaii. I didn't know Florida could look like that.

The runit was much nicer than pictured it was beautiful. When I say that this place is beautiful, trust me it's clean and very spacious. The beds were so comfy, and I have no complaints about the condo whatsoever. Location is great so close to everything. Walk to beach was no problem. Best thing about our room is the balcony with such a great view of the gulf. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Our condo was great! Clean, well decorated and well stocked, plenty of dishes, towel, sheets, blankets, anything you need. The pool was nice, the beach was awesome. But the Emerald Coast employees were very nice and easy to reach. Will definitely add this place to our favorites.

Nice but poorly maintained.
Nice but poorly maintained.
Our family of 5 rented this unit from Emerald Coast Destinations 8/4/12--8/11/12. The condo & development are very nice overall. This particular unit (504) had more "wear and tear" than I expected including a patched (but not painted) hole in the wall by the front door; scratch marks on walls in dining area. But the biggest complaint by far was the lack of cleanliness. I spent the first hours of my vacation cleaning! Issues included: hair EVERYWHERE--floors, baseboards, bathroom drawers, even the refrigerator!; dishes in the dishwasher, used coffee grounds in coffee maker, mildew in showers, and sticky kitchen cabinet pulls and doors. I emailed Jon w/Emerald. He did offer to send the cleaning crew back but we had already addressed the biggest issues by that point and I did not want others in the unit after we were in. In reading the guest journal, I noted many of these same issues have been present since 2010. I believe it is because the unit is being managed by a rental company and not the owners. I'm thinking the owners probably have not been inside this unit in some time. If the owners had been inside, I think some of the issues would have been addressed. The pictures represent the unit fairly well although there are some cosmetic touches in the photos that are not actually present--flowers & wicker basket on bathroom vanity, place settings, etc. The unit has easy beach & pool access. The balcony was nicely furnished and very enjoyable! St. Andrews Beach is just down the road and very much worth the $8/car admission. Kids and adults can easily snorkel here--just watch out for the jellies! Shell Island was also very nice--go early if you want to find the BIG shells! Both beaches provided us with a quieter experience as the beach at the unit had a lot of drinking & smoking going on. We tried many of the local restaurants and the best by far was Cap't Anderson's. For a more casual dinner, check out Pineapple Willy's right on the beach. Wonder Works was more enjoyable than anticipated and had something for all our kids (ages 8, 16 and 19) and even the parents! Pier Park is not worth the drive and offers mostly "chain" restaurants and stores. With some TLC and more attentive cleaning, the unit would be perfect! As another renter said, "when you only get 1 vacation per year, you don't want to spend it cleaning!"
