Only 5 to 10 minute walk from Notre Dame, this charming, quiet, fully refurbished and carefully decorated apartment is located right in the heart of the historical Paris. The Marais is one of the oldest areas, surrounded with Middle Age monuments, although nowadays one of the most buyoant neighborhoods in Paris.

On the first floor of an historically classified building of the XVth century, your apartment is located on a picturesque and historically notable pedestrian-only street. The apartment is very quiet but still linked visually to the activity on Rue Cloche Perce below due to the traditional heavy glass casement windows by the kitchen and dining area, though curtains and window placement provide complete privacy.

The apartment is an easy 2 minute walk from St Paul Saint-Paul metro station and just a minute further from two other metro lines at Pont Marie and Hôtel de Ville. You will have at your doorstep the widest choice of Parisian boutiques and fine gourmet stores, including traditional bakery, French brasseries with their charming terrace, exclusive antiques and design shop.

It is the perfect starting point of a unique and unforgettable walk around the Marais and Ile St Louis, to discover all the mystery of Paris.

The flat is made of two rooms that can be partially separated by a folding-screen. The design is compact but perfectly proportioned for two persons although the foldout king-size sofa bed could accommodate two more guests if needed.

With the added luxury of top of the range equipment (wireless internet, free international calls, flat screen TV, DVD, Hi-fi, dishwater, washing drying machine, microwave, double-burner cooktop, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, hair dryer, ...) you will feel you’re at home in Paris.

Not to mention, it is an ideal address for the most romantic holiday you have ever dreamt about!

We stayed for 8 lovely days this spring. We wanted to feel like we were - maybe just maybe - living in the heart of the city and Rue Cloche Perce gave us just that feeling. It is a perfect location, an easy walk to Sainte Chapelle or Metro stop St Paul and go anywhere in the city OR spend the day in the Marais and enjoy the food, shops and people watching in the 4th. Do a little shopping at an open air market and make a picnic for an afternoon at the Tuileries gardens. Sylvain and Dominique are wonderful hosts - quick to answer questions, ready with directions and recommendations to get to and from the airport or train stations. We took care of all the payment and security deposit arrangements through pay pal - it worked seamlessly. We've been home just a few days and have already recommended the flat to our friends traveling to Pairs this year. We would happily stay at Rue Cloche Perce again. Merci beaucoup! Sylvain and Dominique

My wife and I stayed here in October of 2012. We highly recommend this flat. It is perfect for two people. It was clean, quiet and secure. I think the two most important things about renting a flat via the internet is: 1) communication and 2) delivering on what is shown and offered via the web page. Sylvain delivered on both. He was always responsive to any questions we had prior to our visit. And the flat was exactly as indicated from the pictures. The prior reviews are also accurate. Sylvain was actually at the flat when we arrived, earlier than the stated check-in (this was planned). We dropped off our luggage and while the place was cleaned we explored the neighborhood. Sylvain gave us his personal cell phone during this time so he could contact us when the place was ready! The location is perfect. A bus stop is across the street and 2 metro stops (St. Paul and Pont Marie) are just a minute or two away. Groceries, boulangerie, restaurants/bars are all within a short distance. Many tourist sites are within walking distance. The Marais is a great area. I looked at dozens of flats before booking and I am happy we picked this one. This is an excellent place to use as your home base to explore Paris. I would recommend it to anyone and would stay here again.

I spent two weeks in this wonderful apartment and it truly became my home away from home. The apartment was clean and the photos on the website accurately reflect reality. Once one closed the windows, the flat was almost soundproof, in spite of the nearness of busy Rue de Rivoli. The bed was incredibly comfortable (very important for my bad back). The walk-in shower and the small but efficient kitchen worked extremely well, as well as a rather large (for Paris) refrigerator. Rue Cloche Perce is a small pedestrian-only street between Rue de Rivoli and Rue Francois Miron. The little set of steps by the apartment seemed to attract many very interesting people and groups (including, during my stay, young lovers, people filming a TV commercial, a group of dancers rehearsing, three madrigal singers, and many more). The area (Marais) is perfect, exciting and lively with every store and patisserie one would need for a lengthy stay. While I only communicated with Sylvain, the owner, via email, he was very easy to deal with and made every effort to make booking the flat easy and quick. Dominique, the flat manager, was exceptional and went out of her way to welcome me to the flat on June 8 and to return my security deposit (in Canadian dollars) promptly before I left. In short, I would recommend this apartment to anyone coming to Paris.

We enjoyed our week at 3 Rue Cloche Perce. The apartment is even better than described. Wood floors and ceiling beams give the apartment such a cozy feeling. The apartment came with everything one could possibly need. The free Wifi was a bonus too. The location was convenient to the metro, shops, cafes and grocery stores. You can even walk to Notre Dame and take a boat ride on the Seine! The owner, Sylvain was great ! Always answered our e mails timely and made the rental of the apartment an easy experience. Many thanks to Dominique the apartment manager who was there to meet us and get us settled in. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a real Paris experience!

We stayed here during the first week of February 2012 and had a wonderful time. Despite the cold spell, the apartment was very warm and comfortable and had plenty of hot water. The kitchen, although small, served us well and the boulangerie was right around the corner. Its location was superb and easy to access and the manager was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others and would happily return here again.

We staid in this wonderful place over the New Year and we couldn't have been happier. The place is beautiful, quiet and clean and in my opinion has the best location possible in Paris. The bed is so comfy and the place has everything you might need, even a hairdryer. The flat manager came and met us the first day and showed us everything and she also met just before we met. I'm recommending it to all of my friends and family going to Paris and would definetely want to stay there again.

We stayed in the apartment on Rue Cloche Perce for one week as part of our honeymoon. We never had any issues with the booking process, Sylvain made this very easy and the information he provided us made it all the more easier. He gave us easy directions from Orly airport. The apartment was right near popular metro station saint paul so it was easy to find. Apartment was very secure & although pretty much on rue de rivoli was very quiet - much quieter than other apartments we have stayed in in paris. It was in the most perfect location, for travel by metro or by foot. Very close to super markets, good shopping, a great patisserie (near entrance of saint paul train station) & great restaurants. The apartment itself had everything we needed. & as a side point has a great shower- which is nice to come home to after a long day of travelling! & Dominique the flat manager was very friendly & welcoming! We would love to come back, am missing paris already! I highly recommend the apartment - enjoy your stay!

I stayed at this apartment June 5 to 18, 2011. The thing most notable is that it's extremely quiet considering it's in the heart of the Marais district. It's on a short pedestrian street and with the windows closed at night you can't hear a thing. With the windows open there's a nice breeze for those hot days. The location would be hard to beat - a very short walk (maybe 2 minutes) to St. Paul Metro gives you access to the whole city. It's also right off Rue de Rivoli which is the street The Louvre and Hotel de Ville are on. It is not far from Rue Vieille du Temple where the largest concentration of cafes and restaurants in the Marais are located. The area immediately around the apartment is a great walking area with bakeries, cheese shops and many cafes and restaurants as well as quieter historic streets and parks. The information Sylvain sent and the help Dominique provided when I arrived made getting to and into the apartment effortless. Everything worked - the WIFI, the washer/dryer etc. The apartment is very secure with a solid door and locking mechanism that would stop a truck. This area of the city is safe and clean. It's also only 1 floor up so is easy for anyone who wants to avoid multiple flights of stairs. So I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

My friend and I arrived for a Girl's Get Away in Paris. Sylvain was very responsive and easy to deal with. We appreciated Sylvain's willingness to accept US dollars for the deposit, which was very convenient. Dominique was lovely and greeted us at the apartment and allowed us to check in early which was greatly appreciated after flying all day from California. She made some great suggestions about where to find shops along Rue de Rivoli, which was great since we were unfamiliar with the area. The best thing about the apartment is the location. Being our first trip to Paris, the Marais was definitely the place to be. Very close to shops, boulangeries, the Seine and metro. We felt we hit the jackpot finding this apartment. The apartment was very clean and had everything we would need for a 10-day stay. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom and kitchen provided everything we needed. I hope to be able to return one day. I highly recommend this apartment.

It was the loveliest apartment in the wonderful area of the Marais. Just minutes away from everything and anything we could want. It was in good condition and everything was clean and comfortable. Great light, hard wood floors, great shower, great little kitchen. The only drawback was the bed was a bit on the small side, somewhere between a single and a double, but a good chance to cuddle up to your partner. :) I would definitely come back!
