About this property

Our beautiful Oceanside beach-level Townhouse is located in Parksville, British Columbia.
Parksville is on the east side of Vancouver Island, 150 km north of Victoria.
Our townhouse is in the Tanglewood complex on the southern edge of Parksville between Rathtrevor Provincial Park and Beach Acres Resort.

We are located at beach level -- it is a short 30 second walk (about 50 paces) from our unit to the beach, no long walks through the woods to get to the ocean, which is visible on every level of the unit.

We offer huge sandy beaches, warm water, and a quiet atmosphere in a privately owned complex. Enjoy, relax, and rejuvenate yourself in your 'home away from home'. Have a great time swimming in the ocean, walking the beach, or hiking the trails in the Provincial park next door.
For those who like to golf, we are within a 20 minute drive of ten or more courses that will provide a challenge to any level of player. If mini-golf is more for you and the kids, we are under a 5 minute walk away.

Our townhouse is fully equipped.
On the top floor are two bedrooms and a four piece bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed, a private deck and cable TV. The second bedroom has a two double futon bunks with singles on top.

The main floor has the living room with fireplace and cable TV, dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a four piece bathroom, gas barbeque and two decks.

On the entry level is the third bedroom with a double bed. It also has a 1/2 bath. This level also has a single car garage with a full size laundry washer and dryer.

When you are ready for your day on the beach we provide beach toys for sand castle building for the kids. We also have our red beach wagon to help you get these to and from the beach.

This is the perfect location to enjoy the wonderful West Coast. Come and explore the beach and the surrounding area. You will find something for everyone in your party.

Love the beach

The home was clean and comfortable….had every convenience..well equipped kitchen… parking was fine and it’s so close to everything……but best of all the beach access . Not so keen on the three stories as we are in our 70’s but all was good.

Vacation in Paradise

This is our second year staying in this unit. We loved it so much we continue to book in advance year to year. Close to the beach, with Archie nearby if any issues come up (none ever have). Modern, clean....we love it.

Beach Level Townhouse

This place is bigger than it looks in the photos. Spacious and comfortable and updated and quiet. It's nice to look off one of the balconies or through the window and be able to peek where the tide is at. Many long walks were enjoyed on the beach and on Rathrevor trails. It's so nice to not have to drag your beach stuff up a hill, it's just a short flat trail from the parking to the beach. If your kids like bunnies there's a million of them in Rathrevor, walk down to the playground area and you'll be spotting them in every direction. Or if you check the tide schedule and walk straight out when it's lowest, you'll be walking through millions of black living sand dollars. Just beautiful 👌

We love this place!

It's become a tradition to visit Tanglewood each summer, and this year did not disappoint. Even though the weather was gloriously hot, this unit stayed cool. The unit is spacious and clean, and we loved the picnic table on the back deck for playing card games and having dinner. It's such a wonderful place! Thank you, Archie!

Great vacation with kids!

We had a great time at Archie's place as a family of 4 with kids aged 3 and 1. The third bedroom on the lower level was perfect for our little one who needed dark and quiet to sleep during the day! Kids dishes, toys, puzzles, sand toys all available which was great because we had quite a few rainy days. Steps to the beach, amazing location, probably the best part of the whole trip. Our truck didnt fit in the garage but there is plenty of visitor parking right in front of the condo. Easy drive into town to get whatever you need. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

We came for a holiday and stayed in this condo complex, we found it would be a great place to watch our kids grow up, and since 2010 they have loved every minute we can spare to come here. Someday we'll retire here and hopefully all those memories the kids will have will bring them home to us in this magical place.
