We spent 10 days at this unit at the Bay View Grand and truly loved every minute of it. We really liked the convenience of being on the second floor and the views from the balcony to the west (sunset !) were wonderful. I loved the palm trees ...didn't impact the view at all...actually added interest. Kristen is a very accommodating owner and I would absolutely recommend renting this unit.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Lots of Canadiansspend the winter or part of it here. The resort is huge and you never feel crowded. Lots of chairs, even if you arrive at noon! Clean and well secure resort with a great work out facility. Speedy elevators and great support from the rental office-even if you didn't rent through them! Our 1 bdr was adequate size wise and had every amenity we wanted. The owner lived inPVR and was available at short notice. Things like hiring a 'maid' for 150 peso were well worth the price each week (considering we pay $90 for the same service at home!) The only downside is the noise from the airport take-offs and the distance (50p) each way to the grocery store. A fifteen minute walk to the Marina and it's 40 restaurants is great for those who don't want to cook. And Tuesday is Pizza nite at 2X1 Happy Pizza near the Vamar (old Embarcadaro) where beer and pizza are 2x1 from 5-7PM. There will be a lineup!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities.

We have stayed twice now, two years in a row for a month, and it keeps getting better. It beautiful, clean, decorated well!! The owner lives down the street and is available if you need anything. She just had granite put in the kitchen this year, we really appreciate the 2 large flat screens. There is maid service that is great and cheap! The complex is gorgeous and has everything you could need. We enjoyed many fabulous sunsets from our terrace!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Really liked this rental, Clean, quiet, private,(last but one on the walkway) Lots of room, well stocked with cooking utensils. In one month rental only had neighbors twice for a short time. Great location, 20 min to downtown by Bus, Taxi stand across the street, 20 minute walk to grocery store so bring your backpack. Good size sundeck with lounge chair and table set, places to walk to and dining close by at the Marina. , Only drawback, the view is mostly blocked by a large palm tree whcih isnt the rentees fault. Gives you lots of shade and privacy though. Would recomment this and would stay again if couldnt get a better view.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.
