S2 is a three bedroom upstairs end unit with an additional folding cot. It is set in a quiet location of the 232 unit complex facing the tennis courts with a view of the back pool, clubhouse and stocked pond. The Master Bedroom has a comfortable Queen Sized Mattress with a private tub/shower combination bath. The other two bedrooms have a shared tub/shower combination bath with a Queen Sized Bed in one room and Twin Beds in the third room. This is a lovely and comfortable condo with all the amenities of home, Washer and dryer, iron and board, microwave, all the dishes and utensils you will need for your home away from home. It is furnished with starter items for your stay, laundry detergent, soap detergent, trash bags and bath soap. Tennis Balls and Balls can be signed out from the office at Ocean Walk. This condo is clean and attractive.
Location, Location, Location! This family friendly vacation condo is within walking distance of the beach, the pier, where fishing, crabbing, dolphin and people watching can be enjoyed. The village area (the most desirable area on St. Simons), features many great eating establishments, nightlife, boutique and gift shops, miniature golf course, playgrounds and pools with waterpark features overlooking the ocean and the famous St. Simons Lighthouse. In this area are art galleries and museums. Throughout the year festivals and fairs are held on Neptune Park in the Village.
The island has lots to do for the entire family. There are miles of bike and running trails around the island, fishing piers, a new skate board park and three nature trails. Nearby is the historic Jekyll Island with cottages of the rich and famous, golf courses, a water park, and horse back riding, Cumberland Island is south of the island, reached by ferry. This island is mostly uninhabited except for it's wild horses, turkeys, deer and other small creatures that may just walk right by you. Lots of history awaits you at Fort King George in Darien and Fort Frederica waiting for you to explore.

This was my favorite vacation in recent memory. The unit was very clean and home-like! It has everything you would need for a time at the beach--even floats, skim boards and chairs. We really appreciated the washer and dryer being in a separate room, which kept the noise down. The 3rd bedroom gives that extra room for 3 kids. We enjoyed walking/running/biking around the neighborhood each morning and going to the beach often. This is the best-kept condo complex in the area and it's location is great, too. This unit is in a very quiet area of the complex, and we never heard noise from any adjoining units. The neighbors across the hall were very nice, as were the other guests we met at the pool.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, tourists without a car.

This is a wonderful resort with all that you need for relaxation and fun on site; pools, playground, computers, and feeding ducks. It is also very close to the village; which is great for dining, shopping, playing at the many parks, and enjoying the pier and lighthouse. This was our second trip to SSI so we had anticipated a drive to the beach...we choose to visit East Beach, fabulous for toddlers, and all ages. I also suggest renting bikes, it is a great way to get around and very easy from this location! The Condo just had new floors put in, which definitely added to the comfort, making you feel a little more at home than you would in many places. The owner was gracious enough to share all of their beach gear! The kitchen is well equiped for any cooking you might do while you are there. The bedrooms were very comfortable and all had plenty of dresser and closet space to unpack your suitcases and make you feel right at home. I would recommend this condo, and most definitely recommend St. Simon's Island!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

About the owner: We purchased this condo after visiting the island from the cold Northeast and falling in love with all it had to offer. It's proximity to both manmade (restaurants, golf, shopping etc.) and it's natural properties (the ocean, fishing, nature walks etc.), something new and exciting to see every day. We actually purchased the condo we were renting. It just seemed perfect for location and amenities. Besides our children we really want to share it and have new visitors fall in love with St. Simons Island in Georgia.
Why the Owner Chose Ocean Walk:
After spending time in North and South Carolina I wanted to explore the coasts of Georgia and Alabama. I knew I wanted to be near the ocean. I opened a map, did some research on the islands of Georgia and read the reviews. Once we visited this condo at Ocean Walk we looked no further. The condo is fully equipped with nobody above you or beside you. We have nice neighbors across the hall and just the one unit in the rear with a common wall. The complex offers a heated pool which is very nice in March and April with a 2nd and kiddie pool to avoid overcrowding. I can totally relax in this condo with everything I need.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
I really don't need to use my car if I don't want to. I can bicycle all over the island, walk to the Village for dining, fishing and shopping. While I'm here people are so friendly and want to share what they have already discovered. Yet within a very short drive there are grocery stores, cinemas, playhouses etc.
