Through the woods is the amazing kids park borders the property to allow free run of kids in the woods while remaining safe within earshot of the deck of the house. Beautiful forest views and kitchen with all the upgrades. Refreshing swimming pools located in the cool Ponderosa pines. Crazy - good fishing(raw bacon's the secret) for kids in nearby streams and lakes.
Bike or hike throughout the upper Oak Creek Canyon. Just a couple hours drive from Phoenix with a “home away from home, cozy feel” Conveniently located a couple miles from downtown Flagstaff w/ great restaurants and bars while still maintaining a secluded forest home feel. Location allows for convenient day trips to scenic Oak Creek Canyon, the Grand Canyon, & Sedona.

We just returned from a four day stay at Andy's gorgeous Flagstaff vacation rental. The pictures do not do this home justice!! The living room is expansive and the furnishings are beautifully appointed with upgrades galore. The kitchen had everything that we needed and then some! It was the set-up for cooking large meals and the six burner stove was awesome! Andy allowed our children (3 toddlers) to use his sleds in the garage and all of us had a blast playing basketball in the front of the house. The nearby park is also bigger and more impressive than it appears in the photos! As for the sleeping areas, the beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were modern and spacious. The layout of this house works well for large and small groups. Our group was comprised of four adults, three toddlers, and a baby, and we had plenty of room and never felt cramped. We would have loved to stay there longer!! We really enjoyed our time playing games, sitting by the fire, and looking out of the massive floor-to-ceiling windows. The neighborhood is quiet and is located on a cul-de-sac. We rarely saw anyone drive by and although there were neighboring houses nearby, we felt secluded and private. A true home away from home! Andy provided helpful information about the area and things to do nearby, and was easily reachable by email and phone. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-appointed vacation rental. We hope to return soon!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, age 55+.
