This beautiful 3 BR, 2.5 bath home is a refreshing change of pace as a Hayward vacation home. It is being offered for rental for the very first time starting in April, 2010. It is decorated Tuscan style with high-end furnishings and warm colors. It is an open floor plan on the main level with vaulted wood ceilings, a large family room, dining room and adjacent kitchen with counter seating. Large lake windows and patio doors open these rooms to the huge deck that runs the width of the home. The family room has leather seating and a flat screen TV above the wood fireplace for those cool nights. The dining room and adjacent kitchen allow large groups to dine together. There is an awesome private master BR suite on the main level with a king bed, sitting area with TV/DVD, private master bath with tub and shower and walk-in closet. The master suite has a private patio door to the deck that welcomes in the morning sunshine off the lake. There are ceiling fans in every room and large patio doors to enjoy the fresh air off the lake.
There is a beautiful queen bedroom on the main level as well with TV. On the lower level, there is a wildlife theme bedroom with a queen and matching twins and a full bath nearby. The balance of the lower level is unfinished but there is a nice little family room for hanging out. The lower level has a washer/dryer for your use, this level always stays cool and walks out to the outdoor fire-pit. This lake home has all of the finest amenities including 4 TV/DVDs, a Wii system, water cooler, portable ice maker, gourmet kitchen items, board games and free wireless internet.
The lake is one of Hayward's finest known for its great water clarity and fishing. Lac Courte Oreilles is 5000 acres in size and is very close to Hayward. It is a full recreational lake and you can boat to lake restaurants. You are located on a peninsula of the lake with and 2 mile interior paved road that makes for a great biking or walking trail. This lake home is professionally managed by Northwoods Compass so you can rely on its cleanliness and local attention to detail and service. Northwoods Compass manages over 30 lakefront cabins in the Hayward area. Northwoods Compass has its own website by name which provides all cabin details. They are local and full-time so that you will receive excellent service during your stay.

Thanks sooooo much! We went ice fishing and caught enough fish for dinner. The kids enjoyed the games and the TV with the Netflix. We will for sure be back again next yr.

What a foxy place! As we were eating breakfast this am, we spotted a visiting fox. Both the scenery and weather have been fantastic. In addition, we enjoyed dining at Club 77 and Chippewa Inn. A good share of our time was spent enjoying your lovely home while we played bridge. This has been a great couple of days for the four of us. Thanks!

Day 1-Saw a bear on the way to Hayward. Day 2 and 4-saw fox wandering near cabin. Day 3- eagle lands in tree near cabin. Such a wonderful place to be. Thank you for everything!

We enjoyed your house and out stay in Hayward. We visited with family and friends in the area and went kayaking on Lake Superior. Our 3 teenagers loved the Wii American Idol and the jet skiis we rented. We hope to get to enjoy your beautiful home again.

The look in the eyes of my grandson as he landed his first decent northern wins the highlight of the week ( I think its already grown 4 inches and picked up 5 lbs)! Great acommodations, fishing, weather, food....and the list goes on and on. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and we hope to visit you again.
