This single-family home has easy access to community pool, and boardwalk to what may be the most private beach in Florida. With new furniture and flat screen TV, this property also features a king-size bed and TV in the master bedroom. A queen size and single bed in the 2nd bedroom , large furnished screened porch, star gazing deck, and a fireplace for those who enjoy a real fire.
For our future guests we have repainted the 2 bedrooms, both baths, new carpet through-out the house and new flooring in the master bath.New furniture is on its way and will be installed sometime this summer. We are constantly working on keeping the house fresh and inviting.
This really private beach is GREAT for not seeing people. In fact, you might see a sea turtle or their nest before you run into other vacationers. If you love nature and if you love privacy, you will really love this beach. The pool is located on the beach and you can see the Gulf from the pool deck. It really is the best of both worlds.
Snowbirds and winter renters welcomed. During the busy spring and summer seasons we are a Saturday to Saturday rental.
Southwest Airlines now flies direct into Panama City International Airport from four major U.S. cites. Fly in and rent a car, it is about an 1 1/2 hour drive to Cape San Blas.

Beach Haven-Pet Friendly! Cape San Blas
Year Purchased: 2003
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
One of the last unspoiled areas left in Florida. No high rises, no traffic jams and no crowded beaches. This is such a wonderful part of Florida, Florida as it existed 50 years ago.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Peace and quite. No hurry to get anywhere. Great fishing, great food and the sky at night is so clear that it reminds me somewhat of out west.
Owner's Map of Private Homes
My wife Dianne and I own Beach Haven. She is a CPA and I am a realtor. Dianne always wanted a beach house and when we were looking for an area to purchase a home we just fell in love with the Forgotten Coast.

This is our third year on the Cape and our first year at Beach Haven. The house was excellently stocked with everything you would need to make you feel at home. I especially liked the fact that the kitchen had such good appliances and that there was a crock pot so I could throw in dinner in the morning and be at the beach all day without worrying about fixing dinner! The past years were cold in January, but this year was the best! Sunny almost every day and between 65 and 75 degrees! The house was very clean and Jerry, the owner, could not have been more helpful. We love this location for it's nearly deserted beaches and super friendly people. Our little dog has made many friends and the fact that we could bring her made this the best possible place to be. I have recommended this area to all my friends and would not hestitate one bit to recommend this lovely house to anyone who wants a comfortable, clean, pet friendly place to stay on Cape San Blas!

My wife and I came down after Christmas for the new year and wanted some warm weather. It got up to 70 on New Years Eve, and the house is a home away from home. It's in a pleasant neighborhood about 150 yards from the beach. The screen porch is great and the neighbors are friendly. Sunrise and Sunset occur over the water during the southern winter sun. Great kitchen, comfortable beds, tv and internet work fine. It's an easy drive to Port St Joe or Apalachicola. The Oyster Bar at St Vincent's Pass should not be missed. One of three beaches in Florida that one can drive on (with a pass). St Joseph's State Park at the end is one fantastic stretch of beach with 40' dunes. Great road biking here with little traffic.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers.

We stayed at beach haven the week of July 14th 2007. It was awesome!! We loved it, the kids loved it, and our 3 dogs loved it. Very, very clean!! Bed in master was super comfortable. The beach I couldn't get enough of. Maybe 50 people at the most as far as you could see. Best seashells ever!! The dogs loved the water and they also loved seeing the horses being rode on the beach. We are already looking forward to next year. The misquitos are ruthless so don't forget the off bug spray!!!!!!!

We stayed at Beach Haven 7/10-17/04. We had a wonderful stay. The home is bright and airy - we loved the screened porch and saw falling stars from the upstairs deck. It is a short walk to the pool and beach. The beds were very comfortable. St. Joseph's State Park is close by for wonderful discoveries of sea creatures in the bay and a great beach!
