My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in March and it was quite comfortable. The property was plenty spacious for 2 people and had a nice view of the mountains from the balcony. Getting to Honolulu took about 20-25 minutes by car but to be honest, we much enjoyed our time in Kailua more than the city.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers.

Lovely accommodation for two. Second level above owner's carport/house (separate entry with nice stairway). Very clean, spacious, very nicely decorated. Large closet space with shelves and cubbies. Very nice bath with shower and soaking tub. Beautiful kitchen (only thing missing was an oven). Comfortable king bed with very nice linens. Nice lanai with pretty view of palm trees and mountains. In very nice residential neighborhood with very pretty and easy walk to beautiful Kailua beach (amazing clear, calm turquoise water). Beach towels, beach chairs, beach mats and small cooler provided. Air conditioned but never had to use with all the nice screened windows letting in the cool trade winds. Wake up to cheerful birds. Parking space for one small vehicle in owner's driveway. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation away from the congested resort areas, we highly recommend this accommodation.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

We enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were exactly as presented, very clean and nicely decorated, and the location was excellent - close to the beach and the town as well. Some great restaurants nearby. It was nice to have the windows open at night and hear the birds in the morning. Would recommend this if you are looking for a quiet location but still close to activities as well.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

This studio apartment is in pristine condition, very large and bright with a wonderful bed and great shower. The owners are very respectful of your privacy and helpful. Walking to town is truly only about five minutes and to the beach is five in the other direction. The beach is without compare, lovely sand way out into the crystal clear water and even some shade under the trees. This section of the beach was never crowded, you can walk for miles and what beautiful views!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

The condo was exactly as pictured. It was extremely clean, well decorated and very comfortable. The beautiful beach was just a short walk from the condo and we greatly appreciated that beach chairs were made available. Another positive aspect is that Honolulu is a short drive from the condo, so we were able to take in all the tourist sights. We would definitely recommend this condo to friends and relatives.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Very nice studio apartment in great location for local restaurants and sights. Really appreciated the washer and dryer inside the apartment so we could wash towels each day. Also, appreciated the private entrance (separate from the owner's main home). A great 'home base' when driving around Oahu. Close to the beautiful beach - a nice exercise walk, but a harder walk when carrying chairs, beach toys, and ice chest. Drive to the beach and park if you need to take much 'stuff'. Kailua beach was amazing and we have been to many great domestic and international beaches. Go to Buzz's for dinner. We went on our last night and wished we would have gone sooner in our 8 night stay so we could have had lunch or dinner there more often. We will visit Kailua again!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.

The owners made an effort to make this unit as comfortable as possible for their guests. The king size bed was one of the best beds I've ever slept in and I never woke up with a sore back even after 6 straight days of golfing. There's nothing like falling asleep with the windows and patio door open so the trade winds can lull you to sleep. I wish I could have stayed here for the duration of my vacation as I ended up staying in Waikiki and disliking it for the high rise hotels and crowds. I will definitely recommend your place to my friends who are going to OahuRecommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

We stayed here for four nights and very much liked this property. Honolulu was busy so we really wanted somewhere a bit quieter to come back to and this property did not disappoint. The apartment was very clean and obviously well maintained and we liked it the moment we walked in the door. The layout and decor of the apartment are very well done and we could see the owners had put a lot of thought and care into the design. The bathroom is very nice and the kitchen was quite functional. We liked the private entrance and the outside shower after trips to the beach. The provision of a washer and dryer was wonderful - we only needed it once before we flew to another island but it was very useful and welcome. The apartment is really very close to stores and restaurants - you could easily walk (a short jog across a public park) somewhere for dinner or to get groceries. We did walk to get breakfast in town one day and it was a fun little trip. The owners have helpfully provided a very comprehensive information pack which they have annotated with tips and recommendations for food and we liked the breakfast place they had suggested. The beach is a short walk away (about two blocks) and it was quite a nice beach. We went to it a couple of times and it wasn't too busy. The owners live on site which is useful in case of any problems. They were very helpful and got us taken care of quickly any time we had a query. I've given it five stars as I feel any negatives are trivial to the quality of the rental and we will definitely think of it for future trips to Kailua.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

The studio was exactly as described, in immaculate condition and more than met our expectations. So much effort and many extra touches were added to make our stay so comfortable. We really appreciated all the thought that had been put into the small details that are often overlooked in many rentals. It made for such a relaxing place to stay. We would highly recommend this property to anyone. It would be hard to find a better place to stay than this!Recommended for: Sightseeing.
