The spacious, 5 bedroom/4.5 bath (the 5th bedroom/suite is optional) lake front home is just waiting on you for the perfect vacation or fishing trip- striped bass, bream, crappie, catfish,... Home is nestled on the banks of Lake Murray on deep water- ideal for boating, fishing, and swimming and offers a private boat ramp as long as your boat isn't taller than 7 feet - boat ramp is covered. For larger boats you can use the marina 2 miles away at Billy Dreher Island. Home sits on a private one acre, wooded lot with a 3 slip dock and outdoor, hot water shower in boat house. We also have a great swimming area for the little ones- and the water quality at Lake Murray is rated at "Very Good"-
3800 square foot home has just been completely remodeled with new floors, paint, all bathroom appliances and fixtures, lighting, ceiling fans, doors, windows, .... Views of the lake from almost every room. This is a quiet, safe neighborhood with all the privacy you need. No steep inclines down to the lake either- we are right on the water!
Relax on the private front porch and listen to the birds. Or spend some family time on the large, screened in back porch that overlooks the water. Come enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon beverage and watch the water roll on by. The water on Lake Murray is so calm- it looks like glass in the morning. Lake is 14 miles wide at its widest spot- and 50 miles long.
Kitchen is fully equipped for home cooked meals- or grill out on the back deck that overlooks the water. Home has 2 large bedrooms upstairs- both with 3 twin beds in them- and 1 bathroom. Downstairs has 2 large bedrooms with queen beds and private bathrooms. Master bedroom overlooks the back porch and the lake. The den also has 2 day beds that can sleep 2 each. Lovely Florida offers a sofa and sunshine for days. This home is large enough for multiple families and offers an optional private suite (5th bedroom)- with a bedroom/bath and kitchen. Just let us know if you need the extra space and we will make sure it is ready for a little extra cost! The whole house will sleep 16 in beds- and offers tons of space for air mattresses and cribs!
Great location- Home is a short drive to Billy Dreher Island, Bombing Range Island (National Purple Martin Habitat- amazing!), Timberlake Golf Course, Newberry Opera House, Columbia's Vista or Five Points, Frankie's Fun Park, State Museum, University of SC, Charlie's Fisherman's Wharf, Spinner's Resort and Marina, ....
