The Mountain View Ski House is a three-bedroom, contemporary-style home in a very private location just three minutes to downhill and cross-country skiing at Sunday River. There are also many other recreational activities in the immediate area including: hiking, swimming, boating (canoe and kayak rentals within five minutes), and golfing.
The cook's kitchen is fully-equipped for eight guests and includes: dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, lots of cooking accessories, blender, and electric mixer. The dining room has a cathedral ceiling with skylights and seats eight people around the table. The living room has a queen-size sleep sofa, stereo, color TV with cable, VCR, and DVD. The living room and dining room picture windows look out onto natural vegetation and trees. We have a few neighbors who are helpful and friendly, but you will not see their house from ours.
There is a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a full bath on the first floor. The master bedroom and third bedroom are on the second floor along with another full bath. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, color TV, and VCR. The third bedroom has two twin beds.
We furnish clean sheets and bedding for all beds (and sleep sofa). There is a washer and dryer in the basement. The attached garage has a door into the kitchen for easy loading and unloading. We have our driveway plowed when it snows and have a cleaning company arrive after each departing guest to ensure that the house is clean for our next guest.
Each year we receive many letters following our guests departure which consistently rave about their great vacation and how wonderful and relaxing they found our house.
The house is smoke free.
