My family of 10 throughly enjoyed our trip to Generations! The house was perfect and loved the easy beach access. Gorgeous Sand and loved the chair/umbrella set up. So easy to go back and forth from house to beach when needed. Perfect location - close to great restaurants in Carillon, Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach and Panama City. We loved our trip and only wished we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend to others and would like to rent again at a future date.

Carillon Beach is unique with only one "row" of chairs on the entire almost one mile long Beach. There are no chairs in front or behind making for continuous views of the awesome Gulf's aqua clear water, even from the sugar like sand as well as Generations' balconies!

Spring Break 2013

My family and friends stayed in Generations House for Spring Break 2013 and we had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect so we couldn't have asked for anything better. The house was exactly as listed, clean and well-maintained. The owner was wonderful, both before and during our stay, he answered our many questions about the house and Carillon community. We booked well in advance because we knew the layout of the main house and cottage house was perfect for our party of 15. We were so happy with the community, our kids ranging in ages 9-16 rode bikes through the community (as well as the adults), shopped at the ice cream store in town and enjoyed going to the basketball court and pools and Shipwreck store. The cottage house was perfect for all the kids to have their own space with still being close to the adults. The only thing I wish the community had were more restaurants to walk to, there was one open but not much variety, but it did look like more shops were being renovated to open in the future. The drive to restaurants was close so it was not an issue and nice to get out every now and again if we didn’t cook at the house, which we did often. The beach chairs provided by the house was great and we utilized them every day. Being directly on the beach was so worth it, being able to walk in for a snack or lunch was so wonderful, I would definitely recommend the house for anyone interested in a quiet vacation with no spring breakers on the beach and beautiful views. We can’t stop talking about how wonderful the house and location was and would love to return…. Best vacation we have ever had…. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home.

Spring Break at Generations

Our group of twelve enjoyed our week at Generations. Generations Beach House is beautiful, clean, spacious and just steps from the beach. Pictures and description of the house are accurate. We made several meals during our stay, finding the kitchens well equipped. With all the living room areas and balcones, everyone was able to watch their own movies or just find a quiet space to read. I loved the master suite and balcony! So quiet and comfortable. Plenty of extra bedding and pillows. Our kids rode their scooters around the gated community and up to the ice cream shop. There was boxes of sand toys, boogie boards, crab nets, extra chairs and even a fishing pole in the garage. Our kids went crabbing on the beach each night. Bring flashlights! We went to Red Bar in Grayton Beach for the best fish meal I think I have ever had! Firefly in Panama City and Cowgirl Kitchen in Rosemary Beach also very good. I also recommend ordering pie from Lois- grocery shopper. Her key lime pie is the best! I had to restrain myself from ordering a second key lime pie as the week went on! The owners are so nice, quick to respond and happy to answer any questions.

Generations was better than I expected. We have stayed in the area several times before so we knew what to expect regarding the beach and entertainment oppurtunities. The house is conveniently located right on the beach and we found the facilities to be as they were advertised. The house was comfortably furnished. The kitchens were properly furnished. Beds were very comfortable. The house was very clean and well maintained. We hope to go back again. I highly recommend Generations.

Beautiful Beachfront Home with all the Amenities

This beautiful beachfront home was completely renovated from the last time we stayed there (under different ownership). The renovations are fantastic as the home looks new. It is comfortable, well laid out, and well equipped with the best stocked kitchen and amenities (provision of all soaps) that I have seen in a rental. The owners are extremely easy to work with. Our family had a wonderful stay in this home. The bunk beds are just the right size for young children. The beach is very accessible, making it convenient to go back and forth to the house (another plus with children). I would highly recommend it.

Wonderful Property and Overall Experience

I would highly recommend renting this property. I was so impressed with the professional and personal interactions with the property owners throughout my entire renting process (from the beginning of my inquiry stage to the end of checkout). The home is perfect for small or large families. We especially enjoyed the direct access to the beach for early morning/late evening walks on the beach and you will not want to miss the beautiful sunsets. We also appreciated the many amenities that made our stay so wonderful (grocery service, child safety gates, gas grill, beautiful views, fully stocked kitchen, large table to enjoy big family meals, etc...) We have vacationed on 30A for many years and I am always searching for the perfect vacation/rental home….My search is over! We will most definitely be back!

What can I say other than SPECTACULAR!?!?!? I cannot say enough nice things about this home. It is immaculate and has a great layout for multiple families. I loved beach as well. Anyone who rents this home will not be disappointed.

Beachfront Bliss

I just returned from a weekend with girlfriends at this fabulous beach house. The accommodations were perfect, from the coastal decor to the breathtaking views. It's not everyday I get to enjoy coffee on a balcony while watching dolphins play only feet in front of me! The house itself is roomy, clean and perfectly located. I look forward to future visits!

We had a wonderful visit at Generations Beach House. The house sets up perfectly for a large family..there were 10 of us...and we each had our own space. The carriage house is wonderful for a family and also gives some extra privacy. We even had our groceries delivered before we arrived for a minimum payment. The owners of this home make one feel as though they are special folks. Can't beat being on the beach and having your own chairs and umbrellas too! When can I go back???

Fabulous week at Generations Beach House

When I was looking for a beach house for my family vacation this year one of my "must haves" was that it was gulf front. Generations turned out to be exactly what I was looking for! We had up to 14 people on different days through our week and the house was plenty large enough. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking our meals. Carrilon community was a nice surprise. It is quiet compared to Rosemary, Seaside etc. which fit our needs. We rented a golf cart and were able to buzz around to the different pools. We went to nearby Rosemary for dinners out and especially enjoyed Bentley's for a nicer meal. The views are "perfect" from the balcony and there is a nice breeze in the evening when sitting on the balcony! We highly recommend this property and a special thanks to Ken for his willingness to share all the details of this home and community.

Incredible Location

We stayed at this property over Spring Break 2012. There were 13 of us and we had plenty of room!We haved stayed at properties in Seaside and Seagrove Beach many times, but chose to move down the beach to get the premier beachfront location. IT WAS WORTH IT. We were a litttle worried about being closer to Panama City Beach and the possibility of running into "Spring Breakers". That was not the case at all. The property was quite and clean and very family orientated. The reviews and pictures do not do this property justice. It is by far one of the premier locations on Carillon Beach. First of all, the owners are outstanding to work with. You feel as though you are part of the family. The home is beautiful. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The feeling you get every morning, looking off of the balcony at the beach is just breathtaking. Take advantage of early morning strolls on the beach with coffee in hand...the best shells can be found then. The beach is nice and wide and very clean. The beach was so wide we had a football field AND a volleyball court right behind those 6 beach chairs you see in the picture. There was still plenty of room in front of the chairs to enjoy the beautiful gulf view and glimpse the dolphins that would swim by daily, or to build sand castles! The gated community is perfect for peace of mind when traveling with kids. We rented bikes for them and the kids would drive them around nightly to the swimming pools and open green spaces and basketball courts. Ken arranged for someone to take care of our initial grocery shopping for us. (for a fee, AND WELL WORTH IT). Upon arrivel, our groceries arrived and were brought in and put away. What a nice service to have available. The property is so close to Publix and Winn Dixie and CVS, (5 minutes by car), in case you would need to get anything additional. We had our Easter dinner during the time we stayed there. We ordered a Honey Baked Ham, which we picked up in Destin and had some wonderful home made pies delivered, through Ken who had suggested an amazing local baker, for our Easter dinner. They were delicious! If there is anything you need or want, or think you might want, the owners will do everthing to make sure your stay is memorable. Ours was! We would highly recommend this property! Thanks for the memories!

This was one of those weeks that I will never forget. We rented the house for a family reunion during Spring Break and had 15 in our party. We wanted a quality place in a nice location right on the beach that could accommodate all of us and that is exactly what we got with Generations Beach House. I would recommend this house to anyone without hesitation. ken was also a pleasure to deal with and made the entire transaction an easy one.

What a Wonderful Week!

The house was everything we had hoped for and more. It provided wonderful sleeping quarters for our group of 15 with one beds left over. Being right on the beach was a blessing as we could have our coffee on the deck and head right down to the water once the sun was up. The location is also ideal if you want to be away from all of the traffic and people in Panama City. we went during Spring Break so this was important to us to have a nice family oriented area which is exactly what Carillon beach provided. I will miss going to bed each night to the restful sounds of waves crashing on the beach. It was truly a wonderful week all the way around.

Wonderful House for multiple generations

We brought the whole family to the beach for Thanksgiving week. We needed a large house that could accommodate all 17 of us: there were 8 adults, 5 young adults and 4 young boys. This house and guest cottage surpassed my expections accommodating all of us with ease. Our youngest son and his family, with three small boys, stayed in the guest cottage, which allowed them to set their own pace for meals. bedtimes and naps yet were just steps aways from the main house. The large amount of seating area in the living area was especially appreciated as was the large dinning room table. The kitchen is modern and up-to-date with top of the line stainless steel appliances. We cooked dinner everynight as well as a wonderful Thanksgiving feast. Plenty of plates, glasses and silverware for all! We could not have wanted more in a house. Oh, and did I mention how well the house is decorated? It is so inviting and comfortable. The art work is to die for. You will feel like you are staying in a designer showcase home. The owner is very personable and very responsive. I spoke to him several times before we rented and always felt that he wanted us to have the best beach experience possible. No question or concern went unanswered. I feel that I have a new friend and highly recommend anyone needing a large home to rent this one. Carillon Beach is a beautiful, safe, secure community. It even has a heated pool that our family took advantage of on several evenings after dinner. We look forward to returning soon!

A True Oasis, Shell Island, Wave Runners, Dolphins...The Family Had A Blast!

We stayed at Generations in October and could not have been happier with our choice. The pictures online did not do justice to this amazing home. We have a large family (7) and were there with another large family of 5. With the cottage in the back, we had more than enough room to spread out. The owner was fantastic in helping connect us with a woman who could purchase food to stock the house prior to our arrival. Additionally, he was able to provide information on Wave Runner rentals that were quite a bit less expensive than all the large rental outfits. We went out to Shell Island on the Wave Runners where we explored the island on foot and collect sand dollars with the kids. Likely the most amazing part of the home is the proximity to the sand...literally out the back door and down the steps! This was extremely convenient for our kids. We could walk down with them to the warm water, or sit on the balcony and keep an eye on them while they played on the sand. While there were some beautiful homes in Carillon Beach, we didn't see any on the water that compared to Generations. We woke up daily to the sound of gentle waves and watched an occasional pod of dolphins swimming by. There was an employee that set the umbrellas out by about 9:00 am. I had to pinch myself...I felt like I was in a commercial for paradise. I don't often take the time to write about my experience, yet I couldn't help but share here as we had the best vacation in our 13 years of marriage. I only wish everyone could experience this amazing place!

Amazing Beach House

Our family returned back from our week at Generations Beach House last Saturday. We are still missing the amazing view from the back deck! This house is everything we expected and so much more. We had 12 people in our group and felt that we all had plenty of room. We were able to spread out - or all gather together on the first floor of the main house. Our group included 2 infants and 1 toddler as well as 2 older kids - it was so nice to be able to walk right up to the house when someone would tire of the sand. Every single one of us truly enjoyed this vacation and this house. We are already looking forward to next summer and hoping we can come back to Generations!

Great Family Beach Vacation

The whole family, grandma, brothers, sisters, grand children.... all were able to enjoy the beach under one roof with this amazing house. There is nothing that compares to being on the beach and being able to run inside to refill your drink or grab another football to throw on the beach. This house is in a prime location and we felt like royalty when the beach workers would come put down our comfy mats and up our umbrella each day. Highlights where using glow sticks on the beach crab hunting and the fact that the beach was all ours with just a few other people. Such great memories for our family on this vacation. Magical Family Reunion

Our family of 12 just returned last night from the Generations Beach Home! Every expectation was met! It is right ON the beach, tremendous veiws from many rooms, gorgeous soft decor, spacious and yet cozy, well equiped and high tech, and most of all inviting to all ages for a perfect setting for a family treasured time! First of all, we planned to really enjoy the beach! We surfed, sunned, built sand castles, rode the ways on paddle boards from YOLO rental, took walks and had complete relaxation. The house has all the toys you need, chairs, umbrellas, balls, boogie boards and games! It is like the perfectly stocked beach home. Grocery store was close and we ended up only eating out once in Seaside at Bud n Alleys. We enjoyed cooking in and used the grill and had big family dinners on their table that could seat 10 easily and we made it for 12! One day it rained but the TV lounge room and the games and puzzles there kept us all happy and entertained. We used the carriage house for 4 guests that enjoyed being out there but still had a fully stocked kitchen, great TVs and all the beautiful beddings and decor as the main house. At night we searched for Sand Crabs on the beach and wore neon necklaces for fun. We couldnt wait each morning to 'hit the sand'. I HIGHLY recommend this setting for a spacious, gorgeous beach time. It was like having your own home right on the water without the lines and crowds of a resort. We could go quickly to the neighboring towns for stores and restaurants but we found we literally did not leave the house but once! It truly looks like the pictures, only better! Thanks Ken & Pat for a super venue for our family's beach adventure. There were 12 of us representing 3 generations, ages 15 months to 62 years and the accomodations suited us all beautifully. Perfect location and super amenties - everything was new and fresh and well stocked. Many happy memories were created at Generations - including an engagement!

Great Time Making Memories with Family

We just got back from the best vacation so far. This house is wonderful in every way. The description of the house does not do it justice. It is very comfortable and decorated just perfect. We had ages from 10 to 80 and I think everyone had a great time. We spent alot of time on the beach and walking right down to the beach was wonderful. This was my first trip to the beautiful Florida sand and beaches and we will be coming back. The owners were more than helpful with my many questions and had many recommendations for things to do as well as where to eat. We did eat at the house several times and both kitchens had everything you could want. There are many supplies for the little ones (boogie boards, floats, sand tools and nets). We went crabing every night so don't forget your flashlights. I cannot say enough about this great house. Our family had a wonderful time and cannot wait to come back next year.

Owner response: Thanks for sharing. Generations, being situated right on Carillon Beach's sugar white sand beach, has its own private access from the main floor balcony right down on to the sand. Our guests have commented that being able to sit on the balconies or in the 6 provided beach lounge chairs is very relaxing and definitely a vacation favorite.

Absolutely wonderful. Fourteen people, three generations, ages 10 - 74. Everyone has thoroughly enjoyed this place. We came here to relax and this place is ideal. Most have commented that it has been our best ever Family Vacation. The ladies all went wild about the paintings! We almost loaded the one over the sofa in the living room into the car to take it home. This house is very, very nice and very, very comfortable. Six of our folks went fishing and caught lots of nice fish - mostly Red Snapper. We grilled them and had a super dinner.

We just arrived home after a week at Generations Beach House. We had an extended family of 14 spanning 3 generations staying in the beach house and carriage house. The accommodations were clean, wonderful quality, private yet accessible. Many times we had people on each balcony, in the beach chairs and down in the surf, yet we felt in close proximity to each other while being in our own personal comfort zone! Hope we get to go again!

Our family had a great time enjoying all that the area has to offer while staying in your beautiful beach house and guest cottage. The days were filled with lounging on the beautiful beach, swimming in the ocean and pools, basketball, tennis and biking all of which are available within steps of your gorgeous property. It was truly a wonderful week and one from which many memories were made. We look forward to a return visit!

We love your beautiful home. A perfect week with our family. All was provided to make it perfect - We love the quiet beach. The guest house was great for our large family. We feel very blessed to have the best beach vacation in such a great house. We definitely will be back. We made lots of great memories with our children and grandchildren.

Owner response: Many thanks for the review. The Guest Cottage has a full kitchen and with the open living and dining areas is a favorite with guests - especially those with large families. One of our favorite features is the lighted Walkover connecting the 2nd floor of the Guest Cottage with the 2nd floor of the Beachfront Main House creating an easy access to both houses. "Generations" Beach House and Guest Cottage received its name with a large family like yours in mind.

We loved, loved, loved our time at Carillon and staying here at your beautiful home. The beach was flawless – perfect weather, clean white sand, beautiful skies, etc. We also enjoyed the many beach towns and restaurants nearby. Can’t wait to come back!
