We recently stayed at Moose Mountain and the fall leaves were beautiful. We loved sitting out on the porch and enjoying the crisp air. We were sitting out there in the morning just listening to the leaves fall and here comes a female moose running right in front of the house! It made our trip perfect!! The kids loves exploring outside and swinging on the tree swing. The adults loved sitting on the comfy couches and enjoying conversation. There is internet and TV up there but who needs it!? We just loved spending time away from everything with nothing but our family. Thanks Moose Mountain! We can't wait until we can go back!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We stayed at Moose Mountain for Chrismtas '10 and had an awesome time. There was plenty of room for my family (my husband, three kids, my parents, ILs, a SIL, a BIL, and a nephew). The house was decorated very nicely and had a well-equipped kitchen. The only downside was also the biggest upside--the weather. It stormed and stormed--giving us many feet of fresh snow over the course of 3-4 days, but we also had a hard time getting in and out of the cabin. Chains are a must if you're coming in the winter The snow also knocked out the satellite and for the entire 9 days we were there, we were without TV (a bad time given prime bowl games). BUT the snow also gave us awesome sledding, snowmobiling and skiing. The property managers were also very helpful during our stay--they plowed the driveway and helped us get unstuck on our way up to the cabin. All in all an amanzing experience. We hope to be back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

17 of us went to Moose Mountain for an employee retreat. After spending the day in Park City we came back to Moose Mountain were we had a yummy dinner. There are folding chairs and a table for extra seating so everyone could sit and enjoy. Then after some amazing karaoke we all hit the sack. There was plenty of room for all of us. The weather was great...we enjoyed the fall air while he sat out on the porch. It is extremely affordable...name another place where you could sleep 17 people for $300?! This was our second consecutive year at Moose Mountain and we will be back! We LOVE this place!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We have rented this cabin a couple times over the 2-3 years, and we can't get enough. It is beautiful, very clean, and well-maintained. We've never had any problems, and we look forward to going again soon. It is a terrific chance for our family to relax away from the craziness of life. I love the openness of the main floor. It makes it so we can all gather in one area when we want, and we've had large groups with several families there at once. I also love the amount of beds and bedrooms. It works out wonderfully for family reunions. Thank you Mouse Mountain. We'll be back soon!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Our group of six adult friends spent a wonderful week at this home the end of July 2010 so we could play golf in and around Heber City. We all agreed that the Moose Mountain Lodge vacation rental was a great place to relax and enjoy ourselves. The home's kitchen was well-equipped with most everything we wanted as a couple of people in the group are semi-gourmet chefs. The layout of the home enabled us to gather together when we wanted and yet provided each of us with some privacy when we chose. The location was so beautiful with plenty of deer wandering through the yard and yes, we saw the bull moose just across the street. We loved the swing and rocker on the deck as that seemed to be our favorite gathering place. The home was well-maintained and very clean. Most of the movies provided are geared towards children so if you want more adult-centered movies you should take your own. Our group has rented vacation homes in other places and agreed that this was the best property we've found.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We had a reunion with family from as far away as Hawaii and 3 other States. The ages from the group ranged from 1 yr. to 84! Everyone was thrilled with the beautiful cabin - the wild animals and especially the Moose that were so close by. A real thrill! Clean - comfortable - a great experience for one and all!For a couple of days the roads leading to the cabin were really wash-board and tricky. The last day they graded it and brought in dirt and it was much nicer for the travel. The directions given did not include the detour that we had to take---but we found it and had a geat time. Yes! we would recommend it to those wanting to be in the beautiful aspens and Moose Mountain!!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers.
