Kleine Himmel (little heaven) truly lives up to her name. Nestled in Canaan Valley, West Virginia in the Timberline Resort area it is a great getaway any time of the year. Skiing, tubing, ice skating, golf, stream fishing, hiking, kayaking, biking, tennis - Canaan has it all!
Kleine Himmel has three bedrooms and a loft with a futon. Off the master bedroom and the family room is a deck with a six person hot tub which was replaced in 2009. In the family area is a gas fireplace and cable TV. Off the dining area is another larger deck with natural gas grill and comfortable furniture.
The house is supplied with linens and cookware. All you need is food and yourself. We enjoy it most for the opportunity of hiking with our dogs. Trails begin immediately behind the house. A riding stable is about 300 yards from the house. In the opposite direction the same distance from the house is the Winterset ski trail. Less than 200 yards away is a tennis court and pond.
