This condo was perfect for our beach vacation with our 7 ½ month old twin granddaughters and their parents. It was very clean, nicely furnished, tastefully decorated and spacious enough to accommodate four adults and all the things needed for the twins. The kitchen was well equipped and all appliances were late models and in good working order. The view from the balcony was spectacular, and the convenience of the beach and swimming pool just outside the lobby of the building made it easy to enjoy. The beach chairs and umbrella included with the condo were an added plus, along with the extra chairs and umbrella located in the condo. The condo was everything described in the overview description of the property, and George is great to work with. Check-in was smooth and the instructions, security codes, etc., provided were detailed, extremely helpful, and spot-on. The Hidden Dunes staff, from the security guard at the gate, the beach attendant, and housekeeping staff, was extremely courteous and helpful. The accommodations, along with the helpfulness of George, helped to make this a wonderful week at the beach. If we owned and rented a condo, I would like to think it would be like this one, and we would be as gracious and thorough as George Slade. We will certainly plan on coming back here on our next vacation in the Destin area. We highly recommend this unit and this owner to anyone looking for wonderful accommodations in the Destin/Sandestin area.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This was our second year staying is this beautiful condo. It has everything needed to enjoy your stay and is beautifully decorated. The 2 beach chairs and umbrella from the beach vendor that comes with the rental is a nice added bonus. George is wonderful to work with and always makes sure you have a great stay. We loved the place and we will definitely be renting it again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The condo was perfect for our vacation. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. George was wonderful to work with. He was very detailed and sent all necessary information to make sure the vacation was perfect. The beach was beautiful. It wasn't very crowded. The beach chair rental that was included with the room was great. There were also 2 extra beach chairs and an umbrella in the condo that we used each day. My family and I had a great vacation. We hope to stay here again on our next trip to Destin. The condo needs a major remodeling such as new carpet, painting, new cabinets, decorating, update kitchenwares/dishes/pans/ small appliances, 'frig, and a NEW mattress in the master bedroom. The condo has a wonderful view of the beach, and offers a free chair/umbrella set which is a real plus.Owner response: This review is puzzling to us, particularly a 2 out of 5 rating. The condo was redecorated, refurnished and painted 2 years ago, including new carpets and drapes, dishwasher, oven, stove, and microwave. Repainting of the guest bedroom and entry way took place 6 months ago. There are luggage carrier marks on walls and these are minor; we repaint those areas every 6 months after each season is over. The $1700 California King mattress in the master is 3 years old, and these new pillow top mattresses require flipping every 6 months, which had not occurred in the past year, an oversight corrected. The dishes, pans, cooking utensils are in good condition. The 12 year old refrigerator was inadvertently left open after housecleaning cleaned the unit after a departure. The newly arriving guests then had a warm refrigerator and their ice cream melted in the freezer unit. The next morning after the discovery, the refrigerator functioned perfectly. This problem repeated with the following guests, but this time without an open door discovered. Sears appliance maintenance visited, tested and discovered that the freezer control was placed on maximum, thus diverting cold air from the lower compartment. The manual adjustments were made, and the refrigerator is working fine. The dysfunction was inadvertently caused by our housekeeping and a guest adjusting the temperature in a way that disturbed the cooling of the unit temporarily by a well-meaning, but uninformed response, which the majority of us would perform to compensate for a perceived warming problem. Sears maintenance has assured us that there is nothing wrong with the fridge, and it should function well for years. Nevertheless, we have a standby new refrigerator to replace the present unit if the situation changes. At our next redo we plan to update the fridge, even though it functions perfectly now. The counters & cabinets are not Corian nor stone but functional and attractive enough. Go to the condo video in our VRBO site and view accoutrements. For this first poor evaluation, we are querying recent guests for their opinions in case we view our condo through rose-colored glasses.

This is a wonderful condo with everything you need for a great stay at the beach. The furnishings are really nice and the view is amazing. My wife and I had a wonderful week in Florida and we couldn't have asked for anything else as far as accommodations. WE HAVE STAYED IN HIDDEN DUNES MANY YEARS AND HAVE STAYED IN MANY DIFFERENT CONDOS AND THIS EXPERIENCE WAS EXCELLENT. THE OWNER WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH AND VERTY ACCOMMODATIVE. THE BEACH UMBRELLA AND CHAIR SERVICE WAS A FIRST AND VERY NICE. THE UNIT WAS SPOTLESS, NICELY DECORATED AND HAD FREE WIFI AND CABLE TV. HAD A WONDERFULL VIEW FROM THE 17 FLOOR. . PRIVATE ACCESS TO THE FLOOR AND UNIT WAS ALSO A NICE FEATURE . I WOULD DEFINITELY RENT THIS UNIT AGAIN.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Thank you George for being so helpful in setting up our reservation with you. The condo is exactly as described and is the PERFECT beach location! Our family had a great time enjoying the beach which is just outside the lobby doors, along with the terrific views from the deck. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the size of the property was perfect for 6 people, we always felt like we had plenty of room. There is plenty of shopping, dining, golfing and water sports nearby to help with the added enjoyment of our trip. I would recommend this property and this owner to anyone coming to visit the Destin area.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

I would highly recommend this condo. This was our first trip to Destin and staying in this wonderful condo just made our vacation simply unforgettable. Breakfast from the patio was incredible,not just because of the amazing view, but the true highlight was watching the dolphins play right out in front !! The views are breath taking, not just from the patio, right out the front door you can see the bay along with the well kept grounds in the Hidden Dunes Resort I can't thank George and Linda enough for sharing their charming condo. They are very kind and helpful. My only complaint was the week went by too fast. We are planning on returning to Destin in 2012 if not sooner and would not stay anywhere else : - )Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We loved this condo! It is beautifully decorated, comfortable and very clean. The view of the Gulf is great and the location is very good. The owners were gracious and helpful when booking our stay. We had a BLAST. The condo is so nice and thanks for getting the closet doors fixed so fast. I went out to VRBO and posted a comment. Did you want me to reply to this email with one as well? I wanted to upload some pictures we took but didn't see where I could do that on that website. I attached a few to this email. I am the blonde, the brunette is my niece and the older lady is my mom. We only saw tar balls one day and then they were dgone...very strange. I never wanted to leave.....the sand, water and that area is AWESOME! One day I hope I have enough money to buy a place down there. We may rent your condo again next year...we just need to pick out a date. Never made it to the show and there were too many thigns to do than go horseback riding but next time maybe. We loved this Condo!! It was very nicely decorated and felt like home. It was so quiet and relaxing, I didn't hear a peep. The owner is very nice and helped us with maps, etc. It was so easy to find from the VPS airport, it only took about 35 minutes and we were there! The pool and workout room was perfect. It is so close to everything, the Silver Sands Mall is right down the street plus, while I was there I had to go to the doctor due to an eye infection and there was a doctors office very close.
