This is truly a special property, loved by all who come to visit. This charming 5 bedroom is located in a quiet cove, directly on a sandy beach, with wide views of Lake Sunapee. The best thing about this house is the fact that it is located about 10 feet from the waters edge. When you are inside the house, you are right at lake level, and the view is spectacular. Step outside, and just a few steps are between you and the water.
The clear water and gently sloping sandy lake bottom at this house are ideal for young children and occasional swimmers. There is also a long dock - perfect for sunbathing, eating or just enjoying the peaceful solitude of the lake. There is a boat mooring for your use in front of the house and a floating raft you can swim to as well. With western exposure, there is summer sun on this property from early morning until evening, when you can sit on the dock and watch the sun go down.
This is a four-season home and the main floor has an entire wall of sliding glass facing the lake. There is an open concept kitchen, dining and living room, all which look out to the lake. There is a full kitchen with gas stove, microwave, garbage disposal and dishwasher. Also on the main floor are two bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with a king. A full bath is on the first floor, with shower, sink and toilet. Washer and dryer are located on the first floor as well. Upstairs there are three additional bedrooms, two with full sized beds, and a third with bunk beds. Another bathroom is located upstairs.
Come enjoy lake living at it’s finest. Almost all who have rented this home have come back as repeat guests. Stay at this beautiful property and start a tradition of your own!!!

We stayed at this property in July 2010. We would go back for sure! The setting exceeded our expectations. We had anywhere from 4-6 adults and 3-4 kids under age 2 on any given day. The beach and shallow water are perfect for toddlers. The adults were able to sit on the shore while the kids played in the shallow water. The lake has a sandy bottom and the water is clear. The house is clean and has everything you need. The furnishings could probably use some updating but this was not an issue for us with so many little kids around. The owners also own the house next door and were extremely hospitable. Our only issue was that the week we stayed it was 90 degrees everyday and the house got extremely hot. We would bring extra fans if we knew it was going to be so hot again. Overall we had a wonderful stay at this cottage and would recommend it to friends and family.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
