Bring your own lap top or use the computer that is provided with a 19” flat screen monitor. This cabin has 3 levels and two master suits sleeping up to 10 people. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (a bathroom on each level). The main floor features a master suit with a king size bed, the upstairs loft area (or other master suit) has a king size bed and a queen sleeper sofa, and the downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed and a set of bunk beds. The open floor plan of the kitchen/living room/ and dining room is featured on the main floor. The living room is inviting with comfortable furniture a 40 inch HD television and fireplace in the Living Room. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything guests need to prepare a meal. There is even a cappuccino machine and ice maker. Guests may enjoy their meals at the large dining room table that seats up to 8 people or at the bar that seats an additional two people. Downstairs there is an additional living room/rec. room area with a gas log fireplace if you want to escape from the main level and gas logs with the 40' HD TV. This is where the 50” high definition television is as well as many other extra amenities including a mini-library with many books, DVDs & videos from the owner's collection. There are also two card tables with a total of 8 chairs where cards and board games may be played. Guests enjoy use of the two spacious decks grilling out on the gas grill (upper deck), soaking in the hot tub (lower deck), viewing the pond, or just rocking in the chairs provided while relaxing and taking in the fresh mountain air. The main level houses a stereo receiver and 100 CD disc changer so you can listen to great sounds while sitting around, having meals or sitting on the porches. Kids love that this cabin is within walking distance to two ponds. Linens and housekeeping services provided. My birthday is in October and that is the most beautiful time to be in the NC mountains. To celebrate, I took four friends to the Mallison's cabin. We sat on the porch and admired the leaves, went to Boone and Blowing Rock for shopping and dining and drove up and down mountain lanes. This is a perfect mountain cabin!!! The cabin is in a convenient location with a wonderful view. It is beautifully decorated with all the essentials!!! ( even some things we were not expecting!) Great weekend. So well located for Sugar, Beech and Hawks Nest Mountains. We loved the skying and especially the tubing. The hot tub was great after a day on the slopes. We also enjoyed the DVD movies on the BIG Screen TVDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

We loved your cabin. There are so many wonderful amenities included. Having the Wi-Fi helped stay in touch with the office while having a little down time. There are so many great amusements in the area it is so centrally located; however, I just enjoyed sitting on the back deck and viewing the lake.Did you find this review helpful? This location is in the High Country of Western North Carolina near the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, Ski Slopes, Great restaurants, shopping, outlets and amusements for children. Good, hiking and rafting are all available. This area is truly a FOUR Season area with the landscape changing with each oncoming season. From Skiing and the winter to wild flowers, summer gardens and fall color in the trees. Close to Boone, Blowing Rock West Jefferson, Grandfather Mountain. This area is two hours from Charlotte and Asheville or Greensboro which make great day trips and airport connections.
