Newly built next to the large clean private pond with "catch and release" trout fishing and/or enjoy the row boat and dock. The backdrop is dramatic up close views of the Bitterroot Mountain Range from every window and deck. The cabin features: western decor with a cozy living room including a cute woodstove, satelite TV & DVD, Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen, master bedroom with queen bed and private bath and a cute roomy loft with two twin beds. For more sleeping accommodations there also is a comfortable queen sleeper-sofa in the living room. For those wonderful long Montana summer evenings the large deck overlooks the pond and includes a Weber BBQ grill and porch swing. The fire pit in the front yard can be used for your camp fire memories.
Recreational opportunities are close by and plentiful. The famous Bitterroot River is only 3 miles away with great access for drift boats or rafts and offers wonderful wade fishing for anglers. There are hiking and mountain biking trails up every drainage of the adjacent majestic Bitterroot Mountain Range. Horseback trail rides are just a few miles away. The quaint town of Stevensville (oldest in Montana) offers shopping, restaurants, a wildlife refuge and even a micro-brewery! The cabin has easy access yet wonderful privacy located only 35 miles from the Missoula Airport, University, farmers markets, fabulous restaurants and shopping. We were married on the property this summer and could not have asked for a better location. Family and friends came from across the country and they all enjoyed this beautiful spot. Thank you for making your cabin available to us. We had a wonderful celebration.
