Our large one bedroom apartment is on the waterfront at Kirribilli, directly opposite the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. It is fully furnished, has quality linen and furnishings and has the best views in Sydney of these iconic tourist attractions from the verandah, lounge, separate dining room, bedroom and eat-in kitchen.

It has a brand new designer kitchen with granite benchtops, glass splash backs and is fully equipped. It is one ferry stop to Circular Quay & Sydney city centre. Taronga Zoo is close by as is Balmoral Beach. Restaurants and cafes abound. The city night lights view is magic. You won't want to leave!

                    What a wonderful 40th birthday surprise for my husband. The view was outstanding, the property well maintained, well equipped and clean. Kirrrbillii and its surrounds has so much to offer. Great restaurants, lovely walks and easy access to all areas of the Sydney CBD. The only bad thing was having to leave. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

                    Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

                    My husband and I came for 5 days at the end of Nov. This is indeed a lovely place with spectacular views of the opera house and the bridge. The only problem was the scaffolding in front of the dining room window. I told the owner they should have informed us so we could have made a decision to go elsewhere. The kitchen is updated and when I asked for a coffee pot instead of the instant coffee, an electric coffeemaker appeared the next day. The property is well maintained though I killed about 4 cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom. I think it's hard to control those especially living on the water. The area does not have any great restaurants but the ferry is a 15 min. walk. There is a small market where they had some gourmet foods; french cheeses, olive bar etc. And a wine store a few doors down. Because our dining room view was blocked I would rate our stay 'average' though it would be 'excellent' without. Never saw a painter either that whole week but it was raining most of the time. We did not have a car and were fine walking everywhere.

                    Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, age 55+.

                    Owner response: I totally understand my guests disappointment at having painters scaffolding obscure 1 of their windows to our magic view. Fortunately the balcony directly opposite the Opera House was not affected. I only knew of the painter's arrival the day before my guests arrived-I have no say when the Body Corporate arranges such things. I do wish my guests had told me when they first arrived that they were so unhappy & not waited untill they left. I would have happily refunded their payment but finding other accomodation would have been a problem at that time of year in Sydney. I always ask & try to supply items to make my guests feel comfortable-like the coffee machine. After they mentioned the cockroaches I paid $298 to have a pest company service. I have been fortunate to find several lovely cafes & restaurants just 3 to 4 blocks away myself and my daughter & I can walk to the ferry in just over 5 mins one way or to the train station in the other direction. I do hope they will come again someday - the outside of the building is nicely painted now & that won't have to be done again for many years hopefully.

                    My daughter attended the University of Sydney so my visit was for a vacation and to spend time with her and her friends. I rented this beautiful apartment in late October. Everything about the experience was wonderful. The owner, Julie, is great to work with. She assisted me in many ways to ensure I enjoyed my trip. The views were magnificent! It was very relaxing and exciting watching the harbor activity. The apartment is well furnished including the kitchen equipment. I hosted a dinner party for my daughter and five of her friends ~ we thoroughly enjoyed appetizers on the balcony and dinner in the dining room overlooking the harbor including two wonderful firework displays. It is very convenient to the ferry and the train. And, if you do not want to go far, there are plenty of good restaurants in the area ~ some even delivery. I sent several people photographs of the apartment and the views ~ everyone was amazed. I would highly recommend it!

                    Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

                  We bought this apartment because of the magic view. We feel it is the iconic Sydney view of the Opera house and the Sydney Harbour Bridge and have furnished it to a very high standard. We never plan to sell this apartment as we don't think we could find a better location than this and we can never be built out as it is literally on the waterfront.

                  The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
                  The view is just mesmerizing. Having your meals in the dining room while watching the boats on the harbour is great. Just as good is the city lights at night.
