Escape to this elegant, thoughtfully-designed beach home, only two from the ocean (about 60 steps to the beach). This newly renovated 4 bedroom, contemporary home offers much more than the typical beach house, including features like Comcast high-speed internet access and TV/DVD's in both master bedrooms, den and living room.

Enjoy commanding ocean views from wide-open living and dining areas featuring cathedral ceilings, skylights, hardwood floors and tile fireplace(gas). Delight in the bright,BRAND NEW gourmet kitchen,featuring spacious granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Nearby, the large dining table seats eight-ten comfortably. The breafast bar has additional seating for four.
An adjacent master king suite offers sweeping ocean views, private tile bathroom, and entertainment armoire.

Step outside and discover a spacious deck with barbecue grill, dining table and chairs. Take a few steps up to the roof-top deck to find four lounge chairs and panoramic views of ocean and bay.

Downstairs find a large, comfortable den, bathroom, two bedrooms with twin beds and another king bedroom with private tile bath. The den offers a queen pull-out sofa, entertainment center, board games, and game table. Here one has access to another deck with comfortable chairs and table.

We went with several of our friends laying out on the roof, BBQ-in on the deck, and hanging out in the clean, spacious, beautifully decorated inside. It's our dream beach house, and we can't wait to come back! It left nothing to be desired! Thanks for an amazing memorial day getaway!

  • This was our second year at Highland Surf and once again our stay was fabulous. What's not to love about a spacious house so close to the beach. The house had everything we needed and the new kitchen is beautiful. Hope to see you again next year.

  • Wow! This place was outstanding in every way. Beautifully decorated. As my family members arrived they were amazed at how clean the place was and of course the beautiful view of the ocean and bay from the top level. Everyone kept telling me that I did an excellent job in finding such a lovely place. The internet capability was another added feature. One must not forget the fireplace - that added a special touch. I can't say enough about how great this place was. No complaints at all. Everyone gave it a five star rating. We look forward to our next visit. Thanks for having such a great place.   • You cannot imagine how pleased our family was with the accommodations at the Highland house in Surf City. The amazing part was that the kitchen was stocked with all the necessities. It was truly a great experience to be able to go to the 3 decks and see the surroundings from 3 different levels. We really enjoyed the comfortable beds, well lite rooms and the clean surroundings. The cable and internet connection were a plus for some of my family and distance to the beach was great (2 houses from the beach....lazy days of summer). The most amazing was that when we called Dee for a blender she stopped what she was doing and delivered within 30 minutes and with a smile. For those of you who are wondering who Dee is, she the person that will greet you upon arrival. Although she does not live in the immediate area she assured us that we could call on her at any time should we find a problem or have a concern. She was considerate and pleasure to deal with. Of course there is so much more to say about how wonderful the house is, but then you have to experience for yourself. If you like a pleasant and comfortable surrounding then this is the place to stay. We look forward to staying again. The Burns Family

  • The house exceeded our expectations. The layout was unique,and the rooms were attractively furnished and comfortable. The kitchen well-stocked with utensils, cookware, dinnerware and serving dishes.
