Quiet location overlooking 2 deepwater canals that lead to North Sound Creek/Atlantic Ocean and Largo Sound, South Sound Creek/Atlantic Ocean, Adams Waterway (The Cut), and Blackwater Sound/Florida Bay. Fish, swim, kayak, and canoe from the 180' concrete dock surrounding the property. 12,000 pound boat lift. 2 Master Bedrooms with queen size beds overlooking the canals and nature, 2 bedrooms with full size beds.Mature heavily landscaped yard with 54 Areca Palm Trees, colorful bouganvillas, hibiscus, crotons, silver buttonwoods, snow on the mountains, and 6' bamboo privacy fencing. Oversized enclosed private roofless outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Just 1.5 miles from the entrance to John Pennenkamp State Park and the best fishing and diving in the country. Very relaxing, scenic, and peaceful. Fish, swim, grill on the 2 grills, and enjoy nature from the backyard and the Tiki Hut. Launch from the dock (3) 16' canoes, (2) 14' kayaks (all gear included) and paddle to North Sound Creek/Atlantic Ocean, Largo Sound Bay through South Sound Creek to the Atlantic Ocean or float through Adams Waterway (The Cut) into Blackwater Sound/Florida Bay and gourgeous sunsets. Cruise the 10+ mile bike path through Key Largo on 4 adult male and female bicycles (2 Multispeed and 2 Keys Cruisers) and 4 children's bicycles. This place was fantastic. Everything was in great condition and after our first day we all felt like we belonged here. The kids were so busy fishing kayaking exploring that I immediately wished I would have stayed for the month. If you are fortunate enough to get to the keys, you will want to meet jim the owner of the property. Jim takes the time to help you get your boat in the water and get you familiar with all the landmarks to look for. Jimm took the time to meet us at the property and make us feel welcome. I have never had this great of a time visiting and boating in the keys... Hey Jim well done you are a class act and on behalf of my family thanks for all of the extras ...I owe you one.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family and I returned home today from a week in Key Largo. Jim was a fantastic host -- available and always willing to answer a question or provide information. The house was beautiful and clean; the tiki hut was a great place to be and we loved watching tv and movies or just listening to music. The added convenience of having the bikes, kayaks and canoes right there were an added plus. This location is great to stay at during to day and close enough to travel to the other keys for a day trip and come back for a great dinner at home.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We just returned home from a month here. Everything was exceptional. The home was immaculate, roomy, well stocked and extremely comfortable. The outside tiki hut was a vacation in itself. All our days were spent there enjoying the water and sunshine, not to mention the great TV and music provided. The home is so convenient to restaurants, shops, grocery stores and activities. We would highly recommend this vacation home. The owner Jim's personal touch in making the reservations and welcoming us was an added plus. We hope to return again next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

During our visit, September 18 – 25, 2010 Jim was a terrific host. He was a pleasure to deal with from the first contact through check out. He went out of his way to make sure we felt at home and had everything we needed. The house was spotless when we arrived. The 4 bedrooms accommodated our extended family of 3 married children with little ones. We mostly spent the week on the water. If you like to swim, snorkel or dive, there is no better place. After many trips to different diving locations in the Caribbean and beyond we have now decided that Key Largo is our favorite. This home has everything you may need and with the deep water canal right off the back steps you are within a few minutes of the reefs. We rented a 26’ deck boat for the week which gave us the ability to be on the water every day. When we would get back in the evening everyone couldn’t wait to jump into the canal for a relaxing dip. To top this all off, manatees visited the dock at the house 2 times while we were there. This is Florida at its best. You won’t go wrong renting this house and dealing with Jim. The value and service are the best I have found in many years of vacation rentals. If you come here and don’t have a great time or get bored it will be your own fault! Thanks Jim for everything, we look forward to our next trip to Key Largo!! The house was immaculate and everything that the listing says it is. Tiki hut with Stereo and Big Screen TV was great. The owner, Jim, was very friendly and committed to making our stay great. Giving advise on where fish, and even leaving us some live bait! Stayed here June of 2007 and loved it! Kids enjoyed fishing and swimming in the canal. Very nice setup and close to grocery store and activities. Going back In June 2010 and can't wait to see the new additions!
