New, bright and sunny home in a great location. Very nicely furnished. First floor is open and airy with large kitchen/dining area. Granite counters, high end appliances, and an island with stools seating six - in addition to table seating for 8. Open spacious living room with flat screen TV and wii game console for rainy days or quiet evenings. First floor master bedroom with large private bath and dressing area (queen bed). A laundry area and half bath complete this floor.
The second floor has a very large second master bedroom with full bath. Room contains one queen bed and a twin bed with trundle. Two more bedrooms are also on this floor, sharing a hall bath. One bedroom has a full size bed and another with two twin beds. All new furniture and appliances in 2005. Fully modern kitchen and baths.
Nicely landscaped large yard with outdoor shower and deck. Enjoy all the charms of Nantucket including beautiful blooming hydrangeas and beach roses surrounding the deck and yard. Plenty of off-street parking on a quiet private dead-end lane.

My family and I stayed at this home in July, 2012. Our stay was wonderful! Owners thought of everything in making this a wonderfully comfortable place to stay. Great location - out of the summer frenzy of downtown, but close enough for a comfortable bike or shuttle ride. I'll visit again I'm sure!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+, pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

I stayed here last september (2011) with 6 girlfriends and could not wait to come back with my family! The house is great with plenty of space. It is well appointed with everything you might need. We biked all over the island....it's just a 10 minute bike ride to Surfside beach. LOVE the outdoor shower and the big yard. Beautiful platings throughout. Recommended it to friends, but the summer was already sold out. Trying to get Group to go back in October. The owners are a dream to work with!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, pet owners, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Our family celebrated my parents 40th wedding anniversary together in Nantucket and this was just the perfect house. We had 7 adults and 2 children ( ages 3 and 7) and there was more than enough space for us. The layout of the house is fantastic as well as the spacious closets. The refrigerator is large which was wonderful since we love to cook and dine together. The back yard is fantastic for children to play. We ate outside on the deck just about every evening. The bedrooms are even bigger than in the photos with beautiful decor. The house is clean, updated and tucked away for a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. Town, Bartletts Farm and many of the beaches ( including our favorite Cisco beach) are a short drive away. I was able to go running on a bike path nearby that allows for plenty of mileage. I would highly recommend this fabulous home. The owners were fantastic to work with!!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful vacation in this home. The owners have thought of every possible thing you would need during your stay...and then some. The owners are also very lovely to work with. It's very hard to find a nice home that will also accomodate a dog. Would definitely recommend!Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

This beautiful house, with the beach decor, was perfect for our visit. Location was excellent as we enjoy Cisco Beach but prefer to be a bit closer to town so we can bike to stores, etc. House was very clean and well-maintained. The owners were a treat to work with. They were very, very accommodating and genuinely interested in addressing any needs or concerns (of course, there were none!). All in all, a fabulous rental, reasonably priced. I will definitely recommend this property to friends and other family members!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

About the owner: My wife and I are busy professionals in the health care and educational fields. We have two wonderful Yellow Labrador Retrievers who enjoy the island's many dog friendly venues - Tuppancy Links, Sanford Farm, and Dionis beach, just to name a few. We've been vacationing on Nantucket for nearly 15 years. We recently made the decision to become home-owners and to share our love of the island and our house with others wishing to enjoy the charms of Nantucket.
Why the Owner Chose Miacomet:
We love the quiet, spacious, family friendly features of this newly constructed neighborhood. The quiet streets, large green yards and convenient access to nearly all of the island are great features of Miacomet. The central location offers easy access to town (1.5 miles and a shuttle stop only a few hundred yards away). The house is a 5 minute bike ride from the south shore beaches, Bartlett Farm, Cisco Winery and Hummock Pond. Everything Nantucket has to offer is within easy reach without the crowds and traffic of Town locations. Or jump right on the bike path to Sconset or Madaket!
