  Dear "Maui Mark", Hey!  This is Candace and family and we just wanted to say thank you, once again, for the ten day stay at your condo in Maui!  It was definitely one of the greatest blessings we have ever received!  The condo and location was amazing!  I so enjoyed the peacefulness and beauty that surrounded us the whole time we were there.   We loved going out every morning and snorkeling with the sea turtles right out the back door.  My favorite thing to do was to get up early, every morning, take my bowl of fruit and Bible and set out on the porch and study, pray and thank God for the blessing. I took so many pictures of the sunrise, sunsets and grounds around the condo! So beautiful! One day we went over to a hotel resort by Whaler's Village (Ka'anapali Beach) and we all were so thankful that we were staying at your condo and not over there.  So much more peaceful.  I could see why you would go and stay for months at a time. We spent many evenings in Lahaina, HI. Just strolling through the town and getting Hawaiian Shaved Ice.  (I bet we had a shaved ice every day we were there...lol) The thing that drew my heart to Maui and your Kuleana Oceanfront Condo #613 was the same thing that draws my heart to Israel, the people..... we loved the two little ladies that worked the front desk, and the guy that kept the grounds was super friendly and helpful.  Even when he had to come one night at ten o'clock at night and tell us to turn down the tv, (the surround sound you have in the condo is amazing. We kept turning it down during the actions scenes but had to turn it up when they spoke and it was still to loud.  ha ha) He was super nice.  lol   Words really can not do justice to whats in our hearts… Our gratefulness for the blessing of Kuleana #613.  It has been my heart's daily prayer that you receive a hundred fold return on your giving because it was an amazing gift to us! She wants to live there a couple of years after she graduates.  lol..... we will see what happens with that.

  We are super excited to share our thoughts about this beautiful Maui condo! We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary on this tropical paradise and there could not have been a more perfect spot to nestle down for two weeks! The condo is on a property with such beautiful landscaping, views, and ameneties! The lanai looks right out into the beautiful ocean and offers the most breathtaking views. We so enjoyed strolling along the grounds, sitting on the plush lawn watching the water, and even heading into the water by the access just a few feet from the door!! Just right in the cove of this area we were able to splash and play with the amazing sea turtles that fill the beautiful waters all around the coast of Maui. One of the many benefits of staying in a condo like this one is having the kitchen to enjoy. It made us feel right at home to have the option of a mid-morning hot breakfast without having to hurry out to a local resturant. We enjoyed relaxing mornings and then headed off to all of the amazing sights that Maui has to offer. The location of the condo is perfect to head in any direction to explore and discover all major “must sees”, but even the hidden treasures as well. What helped to enhance our visit the most was the wealth of wisdom and knowledge that Mark and Matthew were so willing to give us. Their helpful tips, suggestions, and connections made it so easy to have a stress-free and unforgettable experience. This condo was the perfect fit for us! It provided the perfect atmosphere to celebrate both our wonderful marriage as well as the joy of being in such a magical place like Maui! Lincoln, CA

  Gene and I felt like we were in paradise the entire time we were at the Maui getaway, It far exceeded our expectations. To the nicely decorated condo surrounded by the serene beauty of the tropical landscape and heavenly ocean views from our balcony. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The beach was absolutely private and gorgeous. It made for great snorkeling and we got to know the sea turtles. When we didn't want to go to the beach we enjoyed the nearby pool, clubhouse, and tennis court. Another fond memory will always be going to Front Street in Lahaina on Halloween. It was great to see everyone gathered together in costume all ages and from all over the world watching the parade of festivities. One Sunday afternoon in Lahaina, we saw a local Grammy winning, songwriter, singer and gifted musician, Willie K, as he performed at the Hard Rock Cafe. A experience we will always treasure. We found the location of the condo was within walking distance to shopping, stores, and restaurants, including some that had nighttime musical entertainment. It was fun! fun! fun! Whether it was sailing on the Maui Ocean, or watching the beautiful sunsets from your balcony, We didn't want to leave. Thank you, Maui Mark! For an unforgettable trip!

  Recently my husband and I stayed at the beautiful Kuleana 613 condo. We had an amazing time! Checking in and out was incredibly easy - parking was convenient and free, the staff helpful and friendly. The grounds at the Kuleana are beautiful and meticulously maintained. Unit 613 has all the luxury and comforts of home and is perfect for 2 to 4 people. With fans in every room and granite counter tops this unit is a beautiful place to stay. In addition to the beautiful interior my husband and I enjoyed the spectacular sunsets and ocean view while lounging on the balcony. Late at night the stars are breathtaking and with torches lit on the grounds the atmosphere is very romantic. Not only that the condo is approximately 60 feet from a gorgeous beach where relaxing and snorkeling never gets old! Trips to the beach were convenient with the use of the condo’s beach equipment: snorkel sets, beach chairs, ice chests, towels and boogie boards. Also available for our use at the Kuleana: tennis courts, game room, bbq pits, pool, concierge available by phone and laundry facilities. Never a crowd or line to hassle with! Conveniently located a short drive from Kuleana 613 condo is Lahaina town. Lahaina town offers plenty of fun things to do day and night! My Husband and I highly recommend the Kuleana 613 condo and someday hope to return.

  Hi, I just wanted to let you know what a fabulous time we had in your Kuleana Condo 613! We have been to Maui several times but have not as much fun in the other condo groups as we did in yours. The pool is a very large pool that was perfect. The garden area's are meticulously maintained with beautiful flowers everywhere you look. The beach areas on both sides of the condo group, are great swimming beaches with sandy bottoms. And the ladder that takes you down into an area where turtles swim, was so much fun, mother nature's swimming pool!!!!  I could stay here for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy! The Kuleana is an older condo group that may not be as ritzy as some of the high rise condo's, but so much more laid back and relaxed, the way Hawaii is supposed to be! We will be back, but for a much longer stay next time! Thanks so much for letting us use your beautiful condo! Larry and Diana Portland, Oregon

  My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying in Kuleana #613 and words cannot express what a great time we had! Every day we swam in the ocean, steps away from our condo. The view was something I will remember for the rest of my life! And if you are fortunate enough to be there during whale season, you will find it difficult to leave your lanai! The whales are breaching right in front of the condo constantly! Also sea turtles just beneath you in the waves, so much entertainment without ever leaving your condo! The grounds of the Kulena are meticulously cared for and the pool is lovely! I had read a few negative reviews about road noise, no hot tubs, no room service!!!! These people are crazy, go to your high rises and leave the Kuleana for the people who will truly enjoy it, like me!!!! It was heaven on Earth and we return as often as possible!!!!

  It has been just over a week since we returned from Maui and we wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your little piece of paradise. The accommodations were wonderful, and the views will never be beat. Surprisingly, the turtles are soooo much bigger when you see them in the water. We both want to thank you for your generosity in support of the school program. We had a wonderful time...we would definitely recommend your [Kuleana] condo to our friends.   We can’t tell you how grateful we are for you. What a place you have! Gerry and I spent many good hours doing what we love: snorkeling, swimming in the pool, walking along the beaches, dining with the ocean in full view. Your place is absolutely wonderful... MauiFunTime.com Rental Policy: 1. Upon Payment in full, Owner (Mark A Doughty) agrees to ensure that the vacation time is in the name of the Renter (You) and to notify Renter of this. Renter agrees to confirm the reservation with the management of the property and that it has been made accurately. 2. Renter shall not sublet this lease without Owner's express written consent. 3. Occupancy shall be no more than Four (4) persons. Renter agrees to abide by policies set by the management, refrain from loud noise and to return unit in clean sanitary rentable condition or pay costs of same. Renter is responsible for any damages caused to the unit and for all incidental charges during said usage. 4. Renter agrees that No Pets shall be allowed in vacation property without written permission of Owner. Renter agrees that NO SMOKING is permitted in the unit. 5. Owner is not able to cancel this agreement for Owner’s reasons except for non receipt of Renter’s Funds without reimbursing Renter all money paid to Owner by Renter. Owner shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, compensatory, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or any other monetary or other damages, fees, fines, penalties, or liabilities arising out of or relating in any way to this Lease. By using Lease the Renter agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Owner from any and all damages arising as a consequence of such use by Renter or Renter's invitees. If Renter cancels this agreement with more than 60 days until the check-in date, Renter may request a full refund. If cancelled within 31-60 days of check-in date, Renter may request a 50% refund. If it is 30 days or less until check-in date, then all monies paid to Owner, thus far, are non refundable. Any cancellation requests must written and faxed to 916-209-9920. 6. Check in Time: 3pm Check out Time: 10am 7. This Lease shall be governed pursuant to the laws of the state of the property; and invalidation of any portion of this Lease shall not invalidate the remainder. This document contains the entire agreement between the parties, and any changes, amendments, or modifications hereof shall be void unless the same are in writing and signed by the parties hereto. Renter and Owner acknowledge receipt of a true copy of this Short Term Rental Agreement.
