  Hi Dave, sorry for the delay, our stay at your condo was in September 2012 was marvellous, all was like the photos and even more, very well equipped nothing missing even spices and lunch box for the beach ect. ect. those two rocking chairs on the balcony was so relaxing, had a wonderful holiday and looking forward to return in the near future, thanks again.   My husband and I stayed in this unit for our 1st wedding anniversary over Labor Day weekend. It is obvious that the owners really cared that we enjoyed our stay and were comfortable - they went the extra mile in a lot of ways to make sure the room was special. There were great little touches all over the unit - and the decor screamed 'We're classy, but we know how to party, too.' :-) The only 'complaints' from us would be that a) the unit is really small. We would not have been comfortable sharing it with another couple even though there are enough beds. b) the building is old and run down - the unit isn't though. c) the bedroom window is right beside the hallway - our first night there, we had some neighbors having a loud argument right outside our window. We heard every word and finally (at 4:30am) had to ask them have their 'discussion' somewhere else. We loved the balcony and ate several meals there. The view was beautiful. The location of the unit was also great - walking distance to the Sea Captain's House which is one of the highest ranked seafood restaurants in Myrtle Beach, as well as shopping and the pier/skywheel. The drive to Boardwalk on the Beach is only about five minutes. We never had trouble finding parking. The beach was never overly crowded even though it was a Holiday weekend, and it was great that there was almost always a lifeguard. This seemed to us to be a great getaway for either a couple or a family with 1-2 children. It was very cozy and the perfect size for just the two of us.

  Dave, My family and I would like to thank you for allowing us to rent your gorgeous condo for the week. I knew from the pics and reviews I saw, that the condo would be just lovely. That's actually putting it mildly, the place was immaculate and had all the amenities of home. The view was breathtaking, my family and I spent a lot of time enjoying the view and the sound of the waves. Very peaceful and calming. We were very pleased that the condo was centrally located with so many things to see and do. The strip was full of stores, restaurants and even an amusement park for the kids to enjoy. We enjoyed our trip immensely, the comforts of your condo made it feel like home sweet home. We are hoping to be able to go back next year and for two weeks this time. There was so much to see and do. I will definitely recommend your place to anyone who happens to be looking for a place to stay. Thanks again Dave.

  My husband and I stayed at the Maher's condo during the second week in May. We knew it would be perfect based on the reviews, and we weren't disappointed in the least. The unit was beautifully decorated, right down to the light switch covers, and it was absolutely clean. We couldn't have been more comfortable - just like visiting the home of a good friend. We were away with two other couples that stayed in one of the penthouse units - they all said that next time they'd want to stay in this unit instead. Booking directly through Dave was a breeze, as was checking in at Carnival - the clerk there was very friendly and most helpful to us. Would definitely look to stay here again for our next trip to Myrtle Beach.

  What a lovely, well-appointed condo...everything lived up to your claims and then surpassed our expectations! Too many extra nice touches to mention but the wicker rockers on the balcony were our favorite..a very romantic home with an wonderful view ..even though the weather was cool and slightly gray , your beautiful home and oceanview made up for the lack of sunshine! Dave was very responsive and informative and made the reservation process a breeze..thank you!

  Dave, Thank you so much for your rental at the Palms all I can say was it was AMAZING! Much more than I expected. I used your condo as a girls get away and it was PERFECT. Waking up every morning over looking the beach seeing dolphins everyday was just what we needed. The location is perfect, a short walk to the pier to get a cold drink was our favorite thing to do. Your condo is beautifully decorated for a relaxing week and your recommendations on where to go were fantastic. You were a pleasure doing business with and I can not wait to get back there and enjoy the blue ocean again real soon. Thanks for everything it couldn't have been a better time.

  We were so lucky to plan a girl's getaway from the New England weather, and stay at Dave and Shellie's gorgeous condo in Myrtle Beach. As soon as we walked into this condo, we were immediately relaxed and felt right at home, especially looking straight out at the water! It was obvious at first glance that the owners have poured their heart and soul into making sure every detail in the condo will make you feel like you are on vacation, while staying in a very well maintained home. The bedroom was the perfect size, with 2 beds and a nice closet, and draw space for us. The kitchen has a full size fridge, along with a dishwasher, which was greatly appreciated! The living room was a great size. There was a beautiful bar, with new counter tops, and plenty of storage and many drink glasses. There is not a bad view in the living room, as you stare out at the ocean. It was incredible to wake up every morning and head out to the balcony with coffee, to sit and watch the dolphins swim. The view is breathtaking and there are no words to describe the peace and serenity you will experience. It was very convenient to walk out to the beach and continue along down to the pier and boardwalk. I was so happy to find that there was so much we could walk too. The location of The Palms is perfect for a little peace and quiet, but still close to the action of the downtown area. The pictures that you see on the website are beautiful, but nothing will do you justice than to go down there and see for yourself. It was a pleasure to work with Dave, and he was very accommodating to us. I can not wait to plan a return visit, but until then, I will be recommending Dave Maher and the Palms resort to all of my family and friends. Thank you Dave and Shellie for a trip of a lifetime!

  I had stayed at some of the other suites at the Palms in the past but nothing compared to this place. You walk in and you feel like you are in a home. There is so much care put into every aspect of the suite. Obviously the view from the balcony is 2nd to none you are so far up that you can see miles down the beach. At night you can see the lights from the new Ferris wheel built on the boardwalk. If you have a small group of people this is the suite that I recommend. Dave is also one of the nicest owners I have worked with from this site.

  Hi Dave, This was our first experience with renting from VRBO and we had a wonderful and relaxing time in your condo. The condo décor is tastefully done with lots of thoughtful touches. Like one of the other reviewers stated “The description and pictures were only a teaser for the actual experience”. Watching the sunrise from the balcony was picture perfect. The family had a great time and the wife didn’t want to leave. I will come back and recommend to friends and family.
