  Daughter's favorite vacation ever...” Reviewed February 17, 2013 ...which is saying a lot, as at 8 yrs old she's been to a lot of islands. She loved that everything was steps away--pool, hot tub, beach, tennis courts and our unit (#17, 3rd fl.). The Unit was newly updated and very well equipped and had a great view. Pool and grounds are well kept and the staff was very nice and helpful. Used their recommended dive operation (Cayman Turtle Divers) and was very pleased with them as well. Beach is rocky in front of the condo but a sandy entrance is just steps away to the south. Very relaxed atmosphere in a nice quiet section of 7 Mile Beach.   Our family spent our Spring Break here, and absolutely loved it! The condo was very nice, and very clean. The view is unbelievable!!The pool and hot tub at the complex were also great. Everyone who worked there, Ollie and Ann Rose in the office, Theresa, who cleaned our condo each day, and all the guys who cleaned the pool, did the landscape work, etc.. everybody was so nice and friendly. I really loved having a washer and dryer in the unit. It was nice being able to just pack light, and do laundry a couple of times while we were there. We saved TONS of money by going to the grocery store and getting plenty of groceries so we didn't have to go out to eat much. We did go out twice. Once to Macabuca, and once to Eats Cafe. Macabuca was a fabulous experience! Go on a Monday night and sit outside and watch the sunset while you feast on the all you can eat barbecue buffet. It's a bargain and it's delicious!! We went to the turtle farm. It was neat, but a bit overpriced. We went fishing with captain Allen, and it was fun. We caught lots of fish and he cleaned them for us. Also went scuba diving with the Turtle Divers, and loved that! Al and TJ were great!Our boys couldn't believe all the amazing creatures they saw! Putt Putt golf was fun, and we found lots of neat places to snorkel all around the island. We rented a car, that's a must! There's a lot to see, and I wouldn't have wanted to have to wait on cabs, etc.. Smith Cove was absolutely GORGEOUS, and not touristy at all. Pack a lunch and spend an afternoon there. The snoreling there is fabulous. Rum Point was very crowded and touristy, we wouldn't go back there. Caymana Bay is nice if you want upscale shopping. Grand Cayman is our new favorite place! We will be back!! I would say my only surprise about Discovery Point Club was that the beach is pretty rocky right out in front of the condo. It makes for good snorkeling, but the truly perfect, beautiful white sandy beaches are a couple of doors down on each side of this condo. No big deal, really. All the beaches are public, so you can swim and walk anywhere you want along 7 mile beach. Grand Cayman is amazing, and Discovery Point is a perfect place to stay!!

  We had an outstanding week at this award winning complex. The recent remodeling is gorgeous and we used the new Keurig coffeemaker every morning.. The condo is beautifully decorated and has free WiFi and TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. We snorkeled right off the beach for hours every day. And all of us loved the beach, pool and hot tub. It was great to have beach toys available for our children. We could hardly bear to leave the screened porch because the view was so wonderful. We dined at many fun restaurants and visited the turtle farm. But what we enjoyed most was the snorkeling. We cannot wait to return!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

  It's hard to add anything to the long list of compliments previous renters have written. The condo, the Discovery Point Staff, the pool and beach and Grand Cayman Island are all excellent. This is truly tropical paradise. The restaurants have all been excellent, not a bad meal yet! Our favorites Calypso Grill, Casanova's, Alfresco's (expensive) Macabuca, Tiki Beach, Rackhams (less expensive) and Morgan's Harbor (expensive). We can see ourselves returning! Thanks for letting us visit your condo.

  What a beautiful place! What a great view from the condo. Had so much fun...holding turtles at the turtle farm, seeing big blue iguanas at the Queen's Botanical Gardens, holding parrots and love birds across from Dolphin Cove, snorkeling at Cali Wreck (awesome), eating at Royal Palms Reef Grill looking at ocean and so much. Thanks for a great time! We had an awesome 20th anniversary.

  Probably the others are also wonderful, given the excellent management (we had a dental emergency, and they even finessed that). But we've stayed at 17 twice, and give it our very highest recommendation. Very spacious, clean, comfortable; incredibly well-organized and equipped kitchen, but the view from the 3rd floor balcony is the true knockout...full ocean and stunning. Just a great place, all around. Oh, and there's a really nice pool and hot tub, too.

  Thank you for an amazing vacation. We absolutely LOVED the condo and Discovery Point. We snorkeled everyday and we saw some amazing fish and two turtles. We also appreciated your recommendations for the fantastic restaurants-Amazing food! My husband and I spentall all day on the beach and all night on the porch. Unit 17 must have the greatest view on the island. We are looking forward to coming back to the Cayman's and back to #17 at Discovery Point

  Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo. The stress rolled right off of us when we arrived here and started appreciating "Island Time". We spent many wonderful hours snorkeling and getting familiar with your beautiful fish. Also, we just enjoyed relaxing on your porch with a drink and talking about how wonderful life is on this island of paradise.

  This is our first trip to Grand Cayman and we are thrilled we picked Discovery Point and your condo-it has been perfect for us and our two teenage daughters. We will all miss the stunning beauty here here. This is the most relaxing and beautiful place I have been. The sunsets, the good food, the friendliness of the people. We will definitely be back - as everyone else has stated Ollie and Annrose are extremely helpful and that can't be understated. When you are somewhere for the first time and trying to figure out what to do and where to go, their help made it one more reason for you to relax.
