We loved this home, when we first walked in we were all so pleased, the view is absolutely beautiful. The house was very neat, clean and truly had plenty of room for us all. Everything you can imagine you would need was there for you. Two families including 11 of us and one child was plenty of room. The dock was great for fishing, the pedal boat was a blast, swimming in the lake, and the camp fires at night were wonderful. We were near the town for a family dinner outing, grocery shopping and window shopping. The adult kids were able to walk into town for a fun night out. Golfing was right in your front yard. We also rented a power boat and went tubing.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway.

We rented the house for a college graduation vs. getting several hotel rooms. The location is perfect. It's walkable to many restaurants, ice cream and The NY Wine and Culinary Institute! The house is roomier than the photos show. The kitchen is great for cooking for a group and there is plenty of seating. The view is gorgeous and we had a memorable sunset one night. The house is very well taken care of, the layout of the rooms makes it easy to accomodate everyone with privacy and several couches as well. The back porch was our favorite room with beautiful wicker furniture and a view that was great rain or shine. We thought this house was an excellent value and highly recommend it.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

This was our first visit to the Finger Lakes, and I wish we had planned to stay longer! Neighbors are friendly, the water was beautiful although the weather was variable and the beach was biking, not walking distance. We stayed in this spacious rental home for a long weekend, and enjoyed every minute. The backyard overlooks a quiet part of Canadaigua Lake, accessible by a dock. The furnishings are new and comfortable, the kitchen is spacious and newly renovated, new windows and airconditioning on the first floor all add up to a lovely experience. The location is excellent and you should bring your own kayak or canoe to take advantage of the dock (the owners have a one-person inflatable kayak that we did not try out). This is not suitable for small children as it is easy for them to wander off the back wall. Upstairs, not all of the bedrooms are well-ventilated; if you're visiting during the peak hot months, I would request some fans from the owners. The owners are accommodating, pleasant and responsive, and as 2 families with a total of 1 child and 3 teens, we found the layout fine, but I would not stretch it to 12 unless half the group is small children. Enjoy your stay!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
