  Property was very well maintained, I would highly recommend. We are pretty picky when it comes to vacation rentals, but this one exceeded our expectations. It really felt like home away from home. Close walking distance to Bethany boardwalk, top floor unit, great balcony, clean, great bathrooms. We fell asleep each night to the sound of the ocean. We can’t comment much on the sea colony itself as we were there in off-season, but from memories as a child the sea colony is the place to be as they have a lot of activities for families. It’s about a 10-15 minute drive into North Ocean City which is also convenient.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

  Just finishing up a great week with family. What a great place! The master bedroom has a great ocean view. Coffee on the balcony is great every morning. So nice to be in the kitchen and still see the view. The bathrooms and showers are great...top notch appliances. Beautiful tiled floor and did I mention the view? So hard to leave!!!

  The condo was beautiful the pictures don't do it justice. The view was great, the weather was outstanding and the resort was just awesome. We will definitely come back. Very spacious and clean. Great location, close to Bethany Boardwalk and shops. The owner was very accommodating and accessible for anything you might need. Looking forward to planning our next trip to Sea Colony. Thanks for a great time.

  Everyone at work thought we were crazy for heading to the beach for a weekend in February.... turns out that this condo at Sea Colony in the dead of winter is a well kept secret for a fantastic time. The place is deserted, so you have the ocean to yourself. The view of the ocean from this condo, could not be any better. We needed family time and exercize. We played tennis and went swimming at the indoor courts and pool. We even did a polar bear plunge. We sat around the table and played games and laughed and ate together. We went for dinner and had the choice of 10 movies at theater. On one side of the condo, there is a CVS (red box for your convenience)--- which is extremely handy, on the other side of the ocean, which is extremely therapeutic. Inside the condo, it feels like it's you and the ocean, and that the world exists somewhere else. I can't say enough about the condo. You will find one little surprise after the next. The size and pattern of the tile pattern catches your eye first--then you gaze upon the ocean. The kitchen is gorgeous--granite countertops, cool faucet, drawers that shut automatically. We didn't cook, but it appeared to have everything you need. The beds are awesome--- king and queen size with great mattresses. In the master bath, treat yourself with a blast of hot air after hopping out of the shower. Even the toilet paper is awesome. Of course, the place is spotless. The owners are honorable men. They are deeply gratified by their guests' positive experiences and are much concerned about returning deposits quickly. Owners are very important in VRBO and these owners are entirely trustworthy and reliable. You're dealing with an accountant-- so you know every detail is taken care of. We feel so lucky that we found this condo at Sea Colony. We were active all weekend and made wonderful family memories. And you can't beat the price!!

  Just returned from our 6th year at this condo. Can't say enough about the remodel...it is AWESOME!!!! The owner did an EXCELLENT job. The colors, furniture and ceramic tile floors are beautiful. Makes you feel comfortable and right at home. Can't wait for summer 2012!!!!

  Owner response: The full remodel was a six month process and nearly everything was replaced and or improved. Such as new stainless appliances, granite counter top and breakfast bar, opening the kitchen wall so ocean is visible while standing in the kitchen, 18 inch porcelain floor tiles throughout entire unit with 6 inch tiles on a diagonal (pin wheel style), new tile bath / showers, comfort height toilets, corian counter tops. I am extremely glad the remodel has been so well received by all my 2011 renters.

  The remodel is an excellent change for someone who has stayed at the condo in previous years (we have over the past 7 years or so). It really is a nice place to vacation. The accommodations are top notch with the remodel. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

  This property has one of the best ocean views in Sea Colony. The cathedral ceiling and open balcony add to the expansiveness. The beach-type furnishings are most adequate and are enhanced by two flat screen televisions (the one in the living room is huge). Quite frankly, the sounds of the ocean wanted me to keep the televisions off. The place has a fireplace (only possible since it is a penthouse condo), and if the owner would let you use it, could be a real enticement for the fall. Also, the condo has a good spiritual feel to it. And, I find the proximity to downtown Bethany a real plus. About a ten minute walk.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities, adventure seekers.

  We have just returned from our 5th year in this condo and have already made arrangements for 2011. The penthouse view is spectacular for viewing sunrises, sunsets and the pristine beach, pools and terrace. The parking space provides easy access to the beach as well as the elevators. We find the amenities in the condo as well as the resort to be perfect for our needs. You could actually park your car, stay for the week, and never leave the complex if you so desired. Sea Colony is wonderfully located with only short distances to the boardwalks in Rehoboth, Bethany and Ocean City, MD. Dealing directly with the owner has always been very easy and informative. We would highly recommend this unit to friends and relatives. We would also recommend visits to The Cottage Cafe, within walking distance from Sea Colony, Harpoon Hannah's in Fenwick Island and Fat Tuna's on Route 26.
