  Spent 4 lovely nights in this artist's cottage and we cannot wait to return. So clean and comfortable and just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning drinking our coffee and listening to the babbling creek. It was so peaceful and quiet and had everything needed. It was like staying at your granny's house except with satellite TV. We highly recommend Whispering Creek Cottage and hope to get back there someday.

  Week of fall in the mountains of Western North Carolina. This is easy math. The cottage popped out of nowhere up a quiet winding road. Serene: def. The hammock on the front porch and the creek running by. If someone ever needs to get away or have a centalized place to Asheville and Hickory and then be able to get away from the "busyness" this is it. Have an obligation in the fall of 2013 around the same time frame, so will be back again

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

  Perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and to find peace and solitude.  Very relaxing and quiet and with easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway for exploring and day trips.

  We had a wonderful visit at the Whispering Creek Cottage.  We loved hanging out on the front porch with our 2 little girls.  We had fun by the creek and roasting marshmallows each night at the fire pit.  We can't wait to come back!

  What a wonderful weekend getaway in a charming mountain cabin!  We hope to stay here again on our next trip to Little Switzerland! We thoroughly enjoyed the sound of the creek outside of the bedroom window, swinging in the hammock, watching the cars navigate the winding road, and the cabin's quiet yet convenient location.

  We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The house was plenty big for a family of four, especially the kitchen, which was very well supplied. We loved the art and decor, very charming. We will have to come back sometime to enjoy our drinks on the porch to the sound of the creek!

  If you are looking for privacy and relaxation, this home has been set up you. Artfully delightful embellishments, and very quaint. I stayed in the home for seven months and enjoyed every day there. My only disappointment was the hot tub wasn't hooked up. The owners have really spent their time making sure that everything you need is at hand. My only regret is that I couldn't have stayed longer.

  We have gone here the last two years and are headed here again. My children beg to go. They love it. The house is great. It has everything we need. The kids love the fire pit and creek in the back. They will spend forever there. We also try a different nearby hike each year. It has become our end of summer destination. Thank you for sharing it with us.
