  I love this apartment. It is well furnished with all amenities, including a hairdryer which I was not sure about before I arrived. It was extremely clean and bright. The location is perfect: a quiet side street one block from the subway and close to shops, restaurants, bars and a small park. The owner is helpful and her two little girls are delightful. Having access to the back yard is a real plus. It was lovely to sit there and eat breakfast in the sun. The only drawback was very spotty cell-phone reception on my AT&T phone. (I think Verizon works better in NY) but I found it worked in the bedroom and the back yard. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and plan to stay there again.

  We, couple with a 10 year old son from The Netherlands, stayed 5 nights. The apartment is perfect. Nicely decorated and clean and really quiet (sound of birds in the morning). The location is even more perfect. Safe, subway to Manhattan around the corner and in short walking distance countless breakfast, lunch, diner, coffee places, deli's, (organic) food shops and fashion stores. The owner quickly responded to any question we had and we would recommend this place certainly. We loved it!

  My husband, my teenage daughter and I spent 4 nights in Melissa's lovely apartment in April. The pictures don't do it justice! It was very quiet, comfortable and well equipped and Melissa was very responsive and easy to work with. Carroll St is one of the prettiest streets in a nice neighborhood. The Carroll St subway stop is very close by, as are many nice shops, restaurants and cafes.

  This apartment is wonderful, clean, and centrally located to everything in Brooklyn and the subway. The owner is friendly and easy to work. We have stayed here twice. It is perfect for 2 people and fully equipped.

  We had a wonderful time in NY and staying in this apartment was a big part of why we enjoyed our visit. The neighborhood and the apartment are delightful and it is easy access to restaurants as well as subways and taxis. This apartment has everything you can think of included and was clean and very well decorated. I can't think of anything I would change. It felt roomy which is tough to find in NY. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and look forward to the opportunity to stay here again. I give this place a big thumbs up.

  We had a wonderful time visiting our family in Carroll Gardens due in large part to our stay in this cozy apartment. Everything was clean and neat. Melissa and her husband were gracious hosts and made us feel quite welcome. The location couldn't have been better. We'd love to stay here again!

  We were delighted to stay in this apartment for 2 weeks with our 1 year old daughter. Everything seemed to be thought of and provided and the apartment had real charm and comfort. Melissa, Marcello and their children were very welcoming and made our stay easy and relaxed. We would recommend this apartment to anyone, very family friendly, a good location close to the subway and the great local neighborhood restaurants.

  My son & I , Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Every amenity near at hand.Subway & buses at end of Street.Deli & take away just round corner,We didn't need to eat out. Large supermarket in Smith Street.Trader Joes in Court Street. Melissa & Marcello, were very pleasant & helpful.Two lovely little girls & Oscar the cat. Enjoyed my early morning sit in the back garden listening to the birds & watching the antics of the local Squirrel.Extra bedroom a bonus.Everything very clean & well maintained.

  We have stayed at this apt 2 times and are looking forward to our next visit. The extra bedroom is very convenient and love the washer and dryer. The added benefit are the adorable children.

  Had a very enjoyable stay beginning May 4,2012. Very cute updated apartment on a tree-lined street with lots of shopping a block or two away. Everything was ready when we arrived and we were greeted by the owner shortly after arriving. Bright and cheery apartment access to the back yard. A plus for our grandchildren whom we were visiting. Only a few steps into the apartment which was great for a grandmother's knees! Subway transportation was handy. We didn't use it, but our son and family used it to visit us. We were able to find on-street parking either on the block or around the corner. That helped for carrying in luggage. We would definitely stay here again.
