Newly-built in 2002, this beautifully decorated, 3300-square foot spacious cabin with hardwood floors and tongue and groove thoughout is surrounded by over 50 acres, with mountain and lake views on Carters Lake with lake access.
It is perfect for family-get-togethers, corporate retreats, or that romantic getaway. Cabin boasts 3 spacious floors with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 decks, (one off each level and two screened in) and 2 fireplaces. Located in a gated community in the Blue Ridge mountains, ten miles from Ellijay's town center you can come enjoy the changing of the leaves in October or the Ellijay Apple Festival.
Cabin main floor features a rocking chair covered front porch to relax or view the lake in the distance. Come inside to view a fully equipped kitchen with ample cabinet space, counter space for cooking and a closet pantry.
Kitchen features a wall of windows in the seating area, where you can enjoy your view while you dine at the 10 person distressed oak farm house table, or play a game of cards at the amish handmade table that seats 4 more persons, or chat with the cook in the kitchen while seated at the kitchen bar that seats 4 additional guests. Kitchen is open to main living area where you will find a 30 foot cathedral ceiling, river rock gas log fireplace, 32 inch satellite/tv with DVD and generous, comfortable seating for your guests.
Large bedroom with amish handmade queen bed and set of bunks with comfortable reading chair that doubles as pull-out bed for one, help complete this floor. French doors open from bedroom to private screened deck with views. A large tiled bath with tub/shower and 2 sinks and laundry room complete this floor.
Upstairs, discover a bright and airy loft that overlooks the main living area on the first floor. Sofas and futon convert to 4 extra beds in this space for your over flow of guests or doubles as another living area for guests to play cards or enjoy a game of fooseball. Master bedroom located off loft area features a cathedral ceiling and houses a king-size bed with 27 inch satellite/tv with DVD player. Cozy reading chair and ottoman complete this area. French doors from bedroom open to private deck with gorgeous mountain and lake views. Large tiled bathroom with 2 person/2 head tiled shower, 2 sinks and walk in closet complete this floor.
The lower level of the house is tiled and houses 2 additional bedrooms and third large living area. It is where our teens hang-out. Here you find a pull-out queen sleeper couch, river rock gas log fireplace and 32 inch satellite/tv with DVD player and more ample seating for your guests. The third bath is large and has a shower/bath combination and two sinks.
The lower level bedrooms are large, one houses a queen bed with a set of bunks and the other houses a queen bed with a cozy reading nook with chair and ottoman. The main living area opens to the screened in deck off the french doors. Deck contains 4 rockers and table and chair seating for relaxing. Beyond the screened in deck, underneath the stars is the 6 person hot tub for your enjoyment.
Outside you will find a the bonfire pit for those cold fall and winter evenings to roast marshmellows, 2 picnic tables and a grill. Enjoy a game of horseshoes during those warm summer days. We have a basketball goal on the driveway for your enjoyment as well as a sodded yard for the kids to play. Take a walk down a hiking trail to the lake where you can fish from the bank. Bring your boat or rent one at the marina. Enjoy swimming on the lake or a day at the beach.
