Spend your next vacation in our luxury two-story villa in the Mauna Lani Palm Villas. This new, 1,460 square foot unit has plenty of room for your whole family. The main level features a large living room, dining room, gourmet kitchen and two master suites, each with its own bath. Upstairs is a huge loft with two twin beds and lots of extra space.
Beautifully furnished in Hawaiian décor, the villa contains everything you need in your home away from home. The kitchen boasts granite countertops and top of the line appliances. We have everything you need to cook that special meal including pots, pans, dishes, spices and condiments. If you like to barbecue, we have a built in gas grill with wood cabinets, bar sink and granite countertops (a “summer kitchen”) on our lanai.
The Palm Villas is a private gated community nestled between a historic preservation area and the 18th fairway of the Francis H. Ii Brown North Course. The Palm Villas is small, cozy and inviting with only 9 buildings (44 units) spread over 6 acres. It is extremely private and quiet.
The Palm Villas features its own resort-style waterfall pool with oversized spa (hot tub) that seats eight. Adjacent to the pool is a barbecue area and private workout room. Our grounds are lush with tropical foliage and large coconut palm trees swaying in the breeze. The Palm Villas is a very special complex within a very special resort. Located in the heart of Mauna Lani, we are the only community within walking distance of all resort amenities.
Visitors come to Hawaii for the beach and ours don’t disappoint. The private Mauna Lani Beach Club features pure white sand shaded by beautiful coconut palm trees, gentle waves, resort style cabanas, and a restaurant that serves lunch, snacks, and drinks. The boathouse adjacent to the Beach Club offers services for snorkeling, scuba, sunset cruises, whale watching, kayaking, and surfing. In addition to the Beach Club, there are several other beaches on the resort property including a black sand beach. A short drive outside the resort takes you to Hapuna State Park, one of the top rated beaches in America. Hapuna is a great boogie boarding beach. Other beaches along the Kohala Coast provide excellent snorkeling and diving.
Golf is another reason why people visit Hawaii. The two championship courses at the Mauna Lani Resort feature challenging holes and fantastic ocean views. You will enjoy discounted golf rates on both the North and South courses. The famous 15th hole on the South Course is one of the most photographed holes in the sport. There is also a full service Pro Shop and Club House with a gourmet restaurant for your enjoyment. In addition to the two championship courses at Mauna Lani, there are 5 other championship courses within a 15 minute drive of the resort.
And there are even more activities….For walkers, joggers, and bikers, there are 15 acres of ancient Hawaiian fishponds surrounded by miles of walking/jogging paths. Tennis players enjoy the Mauna Lani Racquet Club which is located across the road from the Palm Villas front gate. There are 6 tennis courts, some lighted. A pro shop is also available.
It you want a good work out, The Mauna Lani Spa and Fitness Center offers a fully equipped gym including a weight room, sauna, steam room, and 25 meter lap pool. The Spa is famous for its open air “Fire and Ice” massage. It was voted the #1 Spa in Hawaii in 2008 by readers of Conde Naste Traveler. It, too, is located just steps from our front gate.
For those who enjoy shopping and restaurants, there are 14 different restaurants located in the resort. The brand new Shops at Mauna Lani include a Tommy Bahamas store and restaurant, Ruths Chris Steak House, Starbucks, and a variety of smaller shops, restaurants, and galleries. The gourmet supermarket features Big Island grass-fed beef, fresh caught fish, and locally grown fruits and vegetables. There is also a large deli section with prepared foods for the days when you don’t feel like cooking and a good selection of wines and spirits.
The Mauna Lani Resort was named one of the “world’s Top Earth-Frienly Getaways” by Conde Nast Traveler magazine in their January, 2008 issue. It is the only beach resort in the U.S. to be included in this list. Mauna Lani’s eco-friendly solar energy innovations have earned the resort the distinction of generating the most solar electric power of any luxury resort in the world. Everything about the Mauna Lani Resort is special!
Come stay in our villa. Make this a vacation you will never forget.

My husband and I, along with our 30 year old daughter, son-in-law and 29 year old son stayed here for 12 days and we all enjoyed it very much. It was a pleasant surprise to arrive late at night and find that the condo was even better and larger than the pictures portray. Our family of 5 was very comfortable for the entire stay. Everything was clean and well maintained inside and out. It's a lovely, quiet complex that includes a parking pass to the Beach Club. And when we didn't drive over, we walked through the lava field and fish ponds in just over 10 minutes. Trude was very nice to deal with and promptly answered any questions we had. The booking process was very smooth and we had no concerns. We enjoyed staying in the Mauna Lani resort area and particularly enjoyed walking over to the Shops. We also highly recommend Mauna Lani sea adventures located at the Beach Club. We went on a snorkel/whale watch/sail and had such a fantastic experience on the Winona that we went back for their sunset cruise and more whale watching. Based on our lovely holiday, I can certainly recommend this property to anyone and would be happy to return!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My husband loved to sit on the deck and watch the dunes and walkers to the beach. The short walk to the beach club was doable by all. Within the well-stocked condo, everything was in order, and like-new. Comfortable and breezy!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Unit was exactly as described online and by the rental agent. Very nice great room with dining area. Kitchen was well equipped. Master bedroom and great room each had an entrance onto a small deck with a great view toward the sunset, lava fields, golf course and hotel. Gas grill was very nice and worked well. Master bedroom had a nice bath and shower. Good closet and storage space. Second bedroom had a nice closet and nice view of the pool area. Bathroom just outside the bedroom. Loft was up a stairway and had two single beds plus an office area. WiFi worked well. Relatively steep internal stairway from ground level up to living area. Unit comfortably sleeps 6. Unit was clean and well maintained. Unit had a nice assortment of boogie boards, snorkels, beach chairs, and cooler. Didn't need to buy anything. Palm Villas is a relatively small development with multiple units clustered around the pool area. We had three separate units in different buildings but it was easy to get everyone together. Easy walk along the lava fields to the fish ponds and Mauna Lani Hotel. Beach Club was an easy walk or a short drive. Three different beaches within an easy walk + the black sand beach was a short drive but still within the resort. Hapuna and Mauna Kea beaches were a relatively short drive just a few miles north. Tennis club was a short walk, just outside the gate to the Palm Villas. Just a few blocks past the Tennis Club was the shopping center with a number of good shops, restaurants and a full grocery store. Little need to go further for groceries, but if more selection needed, Island Market at Queens Marketplace was about 10 minutes away. And Costco (members only) was just a few minutes past the airport. Overall, I recommend the Palm Villas highly, and Mauna Lani resort is a nice location for many activities. I like it better than the congestion of Kona.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We stayed in this condo for a full month in January 2012, it worked out very well for us. The location is great, it is located in a very quiet small development (The Palm Villas), and is central to all of the Mauna Lani resort area. It was an easy 10 minute walk to The Shops where there is a nice assortment of restaurants and shopping, including a great food market. Also about 10 minute walk to the Beach Club or to the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel. The condo is very well equipped with beach chairs, boogie board, surf boards, snorkel equipment as well as everything you need to prepare meals in the condo. Free internet WIFI and cable TV was also appreciated. We found that we did not need to use the AC as the condo gets excellent ventilation when you open the patio door (screened) and windows. Trude is great to deal with, I am sure we will be back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Another fabulous stay at this fantastic Palm Villas unit. We have stayed at numerous Mauna Lani properties and this continues to be our favorite. Great location on the resort with beautiful sunsets each night. The condo is well stocked from the kitchen to the beach toys. We had sunshine everyday and loved the easy access of the Beach Club. We can't wait to book our next trip with Trude.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

We loved our stay at the Palm Villas and can't wait to go back. We are already planning another trip next year. Trude was so helpful with our last minute reservation. Everything in the unit is new and in perfect condition including the beach chairs, boogie board, and snorkel equipment that we used daily. The Tommy Bahama beach chairs are so comfortable. I even carried one during a hike across a lava field to Makalawena Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the big island. Each evening the sunset views from the lanai over the Nature Park were stunning. We've stayed at other locations at Mauna Lani and the Palm Villas are central to everything with easy walks to the Mauna Lani Spa and Fitness Center and The Shops at Mauna Lani. Hanging out in a cabana at the Beach Club is a fabulous way to spend the day. Swimming out to the sailboat and the yummy smoothies were a big hit with our 11 year old. After a two week stay it was very hard to leave the Palm Villas.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
