Had an EXCELLENT time and I would HIGHLY recommend this home for vacations for families as well as an adult getaway. There is so much to do for all in this area of Vermont any time of the year. My husband and I spent our 5th anniversary weekend here last September and had an unbelievable time. The house was spotless and had every amenity of home. We drank our morning coffee out on the 2nd story deck overlooking the surrounding mountain's beautiful fall foilage and spent the days exploring the nearby towns and unbelievable scenery that Vermont is famous for. Shopping the outlets in Manchester, taking a breath-taking fall foilage ride on a steam train, visting the local country stores and quaint shops, a hike around Straton Mountain, etc. were just a few of the activities we were able to fit in to our weekend. I couldn't have asked for a better location and the owners were very helpful in providing information about local activities and steering us in the right direction concerning the many excellent local restaurants. All in all we had a fabulous time and plan to return again and again. There is too much to do in this area for one visit. The only bad part about this vacation was having to come home !!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
