My husband and I chose Monica's home to spend time with our two college aged kids for spring break. It was the perfect place! The view from the home is outstanding. Expect a steep drive to the home (for those who are not used to driving in foothills/mountains) but not bad and so worth it! The pool is resort quality and Monica provides all the comforts of home. It was so nice to get away from the spring break crowds. When you can pull yourself away from the home, you are close to the El Yunque rainforest which is definitely worth visiting. There are a number snorkeling, scuba and sailing excursion providers and the marina's are a short drive away from the home. There are nearby beaches and we had no problem driving/parking. Monica provided top-notch service, quickly responding to all my emails. I thank her for allowing us to stay in her home. It was difficult to leave!

My family and I just got back from our second trip to this WONDERFUL hideaway!! Off the beaten path but convenient to everything- especially beautiful beaches and El Yunque Rainforest! Safe, clean and REALLY SPECIAL FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY!! We appreciate this beautiful find and all the recent upgrades. The owners treat this like a real HOME and welcome you into in with quality kitchen appliances, wonderful sheets and towels. Most important is the patio and pool! A wonderful home for all ages.

Monica's house was far more better than what I expected. The pictures just don't do it justice. My daughter and I rented the bottom floor. The place was clean, plenty of towels provided, bedding, etc. The patio and pool area were spectacular. The views from the property are excellent. We would sit at the end of the pool and just look at the sea. I forgot to mention the coqui frogs. There are plenty on the property, but you have to look closely to find them. There is a bakery in Ceiba just a few miles away off PR3 that was very good. I can't wait to come back. Thank you so much Monica.

My family and I decided to take a vacation to PR and were very fortunate to stay in Monica’s house. We rented the 2nd floor to accommodate a total of 9 people. The kitchen was beautiful, huge, clean and supplied with all sorts of kitchen utensils. The bedrooms were well decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were awesome. The waterfall and night lights added pizazz to the outdoor paradise. The downstairs patio was spectacular and ready for some good grilling. Monica also has plenty of beach-towels, clean sheets, washer and dryer and lots of good movies to watch. Overall pictures don’t do justice to this house. Regardless of what room you’re in the view is breathtaking.

I almost feel reluctant to recommend Monicas vacation spot because I hate sharing. However, I know I can't rent it out all year long for myself, so I figure others should get the chance to enjoy. My husband and I have stayed there on two seperate occassions. Once in the downstairs and another time, upstairs. All I can truly say is that you will sit and wonder how did you get all of this for what you paid. Its a wonderful private getaway. The pool addition this year is awesome. You get a lot less at a 5 star hotel for what it cost you to stay here. If you are looking to have a romantic get-a-way or to have a family trip, than you have found the perfect spot. It is only about 10 minutes to 20 minutes away from beach activities. The view from the house is unbelievable. We took pictures every evening and it seems that we could never really capture it on camera. The only thing regretable about this vacation home, is that I don't own it.

The photos shown here could never capture how idyllic and wonderful Monica's house really is. We enjoyed every moment of our stay there: swimming in the pool, relaxing in the hot tub, grilling on the patio, playing with the adorable and sweet kitties, or just staring out at the amazing view. And it's a great location, we took easy day/half-day trips to Fajardo (eat at La Estacion!), the beach and delicious food kiosks at Luquillo Beach, Old San Juan, and El Yunque Nat'l Park. Monica was helpful and friendly, and we really felt like we were in a home, not just a vacation rental. You can barely see any other houses around the property, and we heard a car go by maybe once a day. It really is hidden paradise. I would recommend this property to anyone heading to Puerto Rico.

Our group consisted of 4 couples staying in both the up and downstairs units. The property is absolutely breathtaking, pictures cannot due it true justice. The pool and hot tub are truly spectacular, especially when lit at night. The downstairs unit is very modern and well appointed, and the upstairs has a very large kitchen, great for preparing meals for large numbers of people. The views from the balcony are nothing short of inspirational, especially at sunrise. This home is in a very private location on the side of a mountain, yet only a short drive from many beautiful beaches and amenities. It is also very close to the ferry terminal in Fajardo where you can catch a boat to Vieques or Culebra, small islands with AMAZING beaches. We took the ferry to Culebra and camped in our hammocks on Flamenco beach for one night. The dogs at the house are ADORABLE, and really made the place feel like home. Thank you Monica for sharing your home with our group, our stay was truly the most magical vacation that anyone in our group has ever been on.

Owner response: Thank you for taking the time to write this amazing review! We are truely happy when others find as much pleasure in our home as we do. If we can't live there, then we find deep satisfaction when others can delight in our "dream home".

I met Monica about 6 yrs ago when I first came to Puerto Rico, I stayed in her house for six months. Our relocation was smooth due to her excellent facilities. I felt in love with her house then, and always wanted to come back!! My dream came true and for Thanksgiving my family and I had the blessing to stay again!!! We had the best Thanksgiving Holiday ever!!! Her gourmet kitchen was a dream come true for me, since I love to cook!!! Her pool and surroundings make you feel that you are in heaven!! The views are incredible, you can spend hours looking at the view!!Having such hectic lives in the city can be overwhelming, but when you stay in Monica's house all the stress disappear in an instant. The location is excellent since you have all the amenities within 5 minutes from the property. The sleeping facilities are amazing and they make you feel just like home. We certainly will be back, but this time sooner. Thank you Monica and Millito for sharing with my family your beautiful home!!!

Monica. We LOVED your rental!!! We stayed on the first floor unit. Such a beautiful place and view the pictures don't do it justice! The highlight for us was all your sweet cats and dogs. Thanks so much for helping us with all our questions along the way too, we hope to send you some business from friends and some return trips ourselves! Your home is AMAZING and we had the best time ever. To future renters...when you can tear yourself away from home...be sure to check out El Yunkie National Forest (20 minute drive), take a night Bio Bay tour (25 minute drive),and visit Old San Juan (1 and 15 minute drive).

The house and location was great! We stayed in the downstairs unit which was more than enough room for us two. Had modern decor and air conditioning. Very open to the outdoors and patio. The pool and hot tub was also very nice. Monica was also very helpful and always available when needed. The location was nice if you like to do alot of activities on the east side of the island but out of San Juan.

My life for a week in paradise was so awesome.. Me and my children met all of my family there for a week in paradise. I was hesitant about going at first but my wonderful sister made me go and I was so happy I went by the time I left. I have an 8 year old son and a 17 year old daughter. My daughter was born blind. We stayed in the master bedroom downstairs I found it to be very accessible for her and also very accessible to anyone being disabled since I myself am disabled. My son loved the dogs and we let them out everyday to play catch in the yard. Overall my experience in paradise was extraordinary. I want to go back at least once a year now. Who knows maybe that's where we can have our family reunion from now on.

Words cannot express the beauty and traquility of this lovely home. The beautiful landscaping and scenic views took our breath away. My Husband, Daugther(16), Son (9) and my Parents rented the second floor. While my Sister, Brother-In- Law and two Nephews ages 10 and 20 rented the first floor. The home was spacious and accomdating, Monica conveniently thought of everything! from toys for the pool to travel guide books on Puerto Rico. I can't express how much We all enjoyed the pool/jaquzzi. If your looking for privacy without venturing out-this is the place. If your looking for fun and adventure then returning to a relaxing, picturesque paradise home-- then look no further. You can't go wrong either way. We all enjoyed snorkeling, horseback riding, visiting the Yunque and even barbequing yes! she thought of that too. I could go on and on so I'll leave it at AWESOME!! Come see it for yourself!! I can't wait to go back!!! Thanks Monica!!!

We had a BLAST! Me, my husband and two sons spent our vacation on the 1st floor while my parents, sister, brother- in- law, niece and nephew were on the 2nd floor. The house was extremely comfortable accommodating all 10 of us! The amenities the home provided made our stay very relaxing and entertaining with a peace of mind. The home is also conveniently located to many of the tourist attractions. Everyday we were able to go out on one of our adventures and come home to a paradise! We all enjoyed the pool and the fact that we were able to control the temperature of the water! It was perfect for the cool evenings and morning dips! It was also breathe-taking sitting on the patio with a cup of coffee watching the sun set against the beautiful tropical scenery. We really miss the home and its Caribbean landscape and enchantments…lets not forget the beautiful music of the Coqui that lulled us to sleep! ?

We had the best vacation in Puerto Rico. The house was stunning and the view was awe inspiring. The owners Monica and Molito are very nice and accommodating. You couldn't ask for better hosts. Your privacy is guaranteed with the location, but only a short drive down to the main road. The East Island Excursions is a must while visiting. We did the sailing and snorkeling catamaran tour and the Bioluminescent Bay tour. Both I would highly recommend to anyone visiting. The marina is just at the bottom of the road to this ideal vacation rental. The infinity pool is great and the kids absolutely loved it. The only regret is that we didn't have longer to stay. We really enjoyed meeting Monica and Molito, and would highly recommend staying at their beautiful home. We stayed in the upper floor and visited the bottom floor dwelling. I would take either if I had another opportunity, you can't go wrong. Our only regret is not taking the East Island Tour to Calebra Island and going to Flamenco Beach. The ferry there can be hit or miss and the catamaran tour takes you to the beach, then to some ideal snorkeling reefs just offshore. The snorkeling off the catamarans is the best. The food and drink are great and you definitely won't feel you need anything more. Enjoy your stay, we did!

We had a great experience overall from when we reserved the home until we left. Although the home is in the process of getting a pool, it did not deter our opinion of the property itself, which is very well maintained. We are very picky people as we have children, so we shy away from homes that have bugs, cockroaches, etc. This home is immaculate! The location is a little far from San Juan, but the drive to the home, is not bad at all. Monica gives very detailed directions to her home. The views are breathtaking! We stayed 3 nights and had everything at our disposal; clean linens, washer/dryer, all eating utensils a clean refrigerator. We were a group of 8 and fitted comfortably in the downstairs home. Thanks again Monica for the good customer service and clean home!! We will definitely share our experience with our friends and family who travel to PR often.

If I could give this house a high review I would. This house is truely a home away from home. They thought of everything. We actually rented two houses on the Island and the other one doesn't even compare to this one. The owner is only a phone call way if needed she also had an emergency person contact information for me just incase we needed anything. The view from this house is BREATH TAKING.... Her directions were perfect and very detailed. We had 10 people at one time staying in this house and it was very very comfortable. Beds were very comfortable best sleep I had in a awhile. The house has two parts to it. The upstairs which has three bedrooms and the downstairs has two but it is actually an apartment by it self with everything kitchen and laundry room. This was the best experience for my family to be able to spent the holidays together. My Mom LOVED LOVED the kitchen. We couldn't get our of it. She wanted to cook all the time. Monica has great pots and pans. Like I said at the beginning Monica thought of everything. We definitely will be coming back here again. It is worth it. Thanks Monica for a great experience.....

We've used many, many vacation rentals, and this is the very nicest. It is a real home, not a cookie cutter condo. It has beautiful flowers, foliage, lawn... it has gorgeous views and a beach just a hop away. I love the central location of Ceiba, you can do San Juan and be 'home' in a real bed, with real sheets, and a fridge that has condiments there already and is clean! It is lovely, thank you Monica for your excellent directions to a great place to vacation. I will tell everyone I tell about our trip that your place is the place to be. Thank you!

The location of this home is perfect for those wanting to visit the beaches, El Yunque and Old San Juan. None of these is more than an hour an half away. The view of the ocean from the home's balcony is incredible. The nearby beaches incredible. The greatest thing about the home is that you feel like you are a part of the rain forest with the sounds of the coqui singing you to sleep at night.

My husband and our two kids, ages 10 and 12, just returned from our 3rd stay at Monica's beautiful home. We spent many maorning and evening hours sitting out on the covered balcony enjoying the expansive view and listening to the sounds of the rain forest, after enjoying busy days of beach walking, swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding, and hiking in El Yunque. The view from the house is like no other ....looking down the hillside to an expansive view out to the eastern islands off Puerto Rico. The house is about 2 miles up a hill from Puerto del Mar where you can do numerous trips to the offshore islands. There are amazing beaches within a short drive...Playa Azul for boogie boarding and snorkeling, Loquilla Beach for views of El Yunque and walking on the the sand bars at low tide(to the east), Seven Seas for a lovely walk and amazing swimming including snorkeling at the eastern end.....We also went further a field to Punta Tuna....a gorgeous much quieter beach, went as day vistors to Palmas del Mar, hiked the Tradwinds trail to El Toro and up El Yunque, and drove the Ruta Panorama/ while enjoying Puerto Rican BBQ. The house has many distractions for kids..a basketball hoop, lego, DVDs, and many beach toys including 2 boogie boards, and loads of beach towels. We did lots of cooking, finding all we needed at the bigger Amigo up from Loquilla or the Grande grocery store a little closer to the house. There are 2 tv, a/c in the bedrooms, very comfortable beds and linens, lovely design and architecture and detail in the house. The grounds of the house are amazing...very lush. The tradewinds gently cool down the house at night, and we didn't even use the a/c some nights. We love this house and is one of the very best VRBOs we have stayed in....! If only we could take the view back home with us. The house is very accessible to San Juan, the eastern part of PR, the south east, and the interior. All are within an hour away. Others who have stayed at the house have ventured further a field....but we like to minimize our car time, to maximize our time outside in PR. If you like a restful, gorgeous place to return to at the end of your day of adventure, want home comforts, and like the peace of the forest but with dazzling views, this is the place you your stay in Puerto Rico!

I am writing you from inside this beautiful home. As I sit here the ocean breeze is cooling off our second floor living area. My family and I have stayed here once before, and it was such a positive experiance that we had to do it again. I have two young children and they are enjoying the wildlife. We have seen the famous Puerto Rican Coqui, a giant toad and an array of birds. The owners of this amazing house have left nothing to chance... the home is equiped with all the comforts of home, washer and dryer, cooking tools, coffee maker!, internet (I had to make this a bit of a working vacation) bedding and for those hot nights AC. I love how this house is off the beatten track. No loud and drunk youths bothering us this spring break. We can get to the beach in a matter of minutes, just an hour from Old San Juan, and close enough to go to Culebra. If you haven't experianced Puerto Rico then you must, and this is the place to do it. Don't just take my word for it.

Overwhelming!!! The house is beautiful, nature is at its best, the sounds of the night orchestrate with the leading voice of "el coqui", the night sky is a show of itself. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Monica's place in Ceiba. It was in the perfect location and our group was able to see so much of the island. We visited the island of Culebra, took surfing lessons in Luquillo, kayaked in the Cabezas the San Juan nature preserve, hiked the Toro Negro Rainforest, visited Old San Juan and explored Caves in the Tanamá River area. There is SO MUCH to do on this beautiful island. Coming "home" to Ceiba was wonderful. Our group of 14 people rented the entire house and enjoyed pancake breakfasts on the gorgeous deck overlooking the ocean. There are wonderful restaurants in the area, and the coqui frogs will lull you to sleep. Best of all, Monica made everything so easy and accommodating. I hope to travel with my family to Puerto Rico in the near future. Without a doubt, we plan to stay in Ceiba. Thank you for everything Monica.

What a gorgeous home! We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. The photos on the website are wonderful, but they don't do your home justice, Monica! It was exactly what we were hoping for, and then some. While the weather didn't always cooperate with our plans to visit the nearby islands, we were thrilled to have sucha a spacious, beautiful place to stay. The views are incredible! Thank you for sharing this amazing house with us!

Hidden Paradise is just that - it's a beautiful house in the perfect location. Close to the Rain Forest, the beaches and the islands, but quiet and restful. We had a wonderful respite, and Monica is graciousness personified. We had a wedding vow renewal ceremony and Shayla and I could not be more pleased with the party. Aida kept the house clean, fed the super dogs and cats and catered for our reception - she deserves special mention. An outstanding vacation, including sailing, fishing and sightseeing, we'll recommend it to all our friends, and next time we'll bring our golf clubs!!

Monica, what can I say but 'THANK YOU'. We had an incredible time. It's been over 20yrs since I last visited Puerto Rico, so coming back and having our family reunion at the house was PERFECT (6 families, total of 15 people). We rented both floors. The view from either floor is breath taking. You can see the valleys, the ocean and the little islands across. Your home has everything one would need to live in. Monica, you thought of everything. The house is decorated so beautifully, a wonderful feel of not just Mexican style but of true Latin taste. The sweet smell the breeze brings in day and night I'll never forget. Being sung to every night by the coquies was perfect too. Each room with its own AC unit was a great idea. And we had no problems with bugs. The house is close to everything. 15-20 minutes from Luquillo Beahces, Fajardo, the ferry in Fajardo (which we recommend your guests take), casino, the Rain Forest, shops, restaurants, supermarket, banks, etc. Even Old San Juan isn't so far away (30 to 45 minutes). Ponce is an hour-n-half away and we were able to visit my family there. We loved every minute of our trip. My children have memories to last them a life time and your home in Ceiba made it all possible. I'm so happy I found it in VRBO. God Blessed us abundantly! Suggestions for future guests: Rain Forest, El Morro, a ferry ride of 90 minutes to Culebra ($3 per adult)(gorgeous beach), kayaking at night at the bio bay in Fajardo ($45 per adult), any and all fried food stands you see! Don't stay anywhere else, come to Ceiba, it beats staying at any hotel, I promise, its true. We hope to visit PR soon and not let so much time go by again as the last. Thank you again for everything!

I am way late on posting this; my husband and I stayed in Feb 2005 and were so in awe we can just now gather our thoughts to comment... :-) The house was gorgeous and well-kept; the views of the ocean were spectacular; we even managed to find the tiny coqui! The best vacation and best deal on a vacation rental, EVER! Thanks, I hope to return soon!

Our group of 4 adults and 5 kids, ages 9-14, had a lovely week at Monica's house mid-April. Photos do not capture how beautifully situated the home is on the mountainside, with excellent views of the ocean, islands, etc. With the changing angle of the sun every time we looked out it seemed to be a new panorama, all gorgeous. The house (we stayed on the top floor) is lovingly furnished and seemed roomy even for our large group. There were 2 TV's & 2 DVD's, which made our young people happy during quiet times. Lots of English-speaking channels and a bunch of DVD's on hand too! The wrap-around porch was like another room, and there were no problems with mosquitos. The orientation and altitude of the house made air conditioning unnecessary. The house was spotlessly clean, well maintained and the neighborhood very nice and safe. There are a couple of beach chairs, umbrella and rafts for use at the beach. I suggest you bring your own beach towels, as the ones at the house are too nice for beach use. You are surrounded by the flora and fauna of the rain forest. The coqui frogs can be loud if you are a light sleeper, not to mention a neighboring rooster and the chorus of dogs (which we adored!) I'm a light sleeper and so brought earplugs and it was fine. Essentially, I don't know why anyone would stay anywhere else when coming to Puerto Rico. Monica and Milito are charming people with big hearts. They stayed downstairs for most of our visit and it was nice to have them around for consulting about activities.

I rented the downstairs portion of Monica's home in March 2005 along with my sister, her boyfriend, and my son. We had such an incredible time that we returned in April 2006 and rented the top portion of the house with more family members. Monica's house is beautiful and just being able to stay there is like a vacation in itself. Feeling the ocean breezes and listening to the coquis in the evenings is like a wonderful dream. The location is breathtaking, and the proximity to the beaches, islands, and rainforest make it an ideal vacation home. Monica and Milito are both so friendly and warm and helpful with any questions. Since we've returned from our vacation, 2 of my coworkers have expressed an interest in the house just from hearing about it from me, and I have given them the web site to look at. I would not hesitate to recommend the house to anyone, and I'd love to return! My 5 year old son is already asking when we can go back!

There is no more friendlier and relaxing place on Earth than Puerto Rico and this home epitomizes all of this and more. We spent our Xmas holiday in this mountaintop retreat and were swept up by the gorgeous views and hospitality of our hosts. Monica's description of her home on the website is totally accurate and actually does not do it justice. The home is a blend of cosmopolitan and rain forest charm. You have all the comforts of home for a very modest price and there is no comparison with the resorts nearby in terms of accommodations and view. We will be back.

I stayed for one week at the house in April and loved every minute of it. Monica and Milito are wonderful hosts, the house is gorgeous and it is convenient to everything that you want to do. I rented the upstairs unit with my sister and 4 year-old nephew, and we had a wonderful time. If you open the windows and doors in the afternoon, a perfect breeze cools the entire unit. We rented a car and visited El Yunque, Luquillo Beach, Culebra Island, Old San Juan and just drove around taking in the island. I generally don't use all the amenities at the high-end resorts, so this was perfect for us because it forced us to get out and find our way around Puerto Rico, which made for a wonderful adventure. The other advantage is being able to cook whenever you feel like it and you can even whip up your favorite drinks in the kitchen. We are already planning our trip for next year and thinking about renting both units for the entire family.

AMAZING! I rented the downstairs floor from June 17 through June 22. The house was so beautiful and very clean. I loved staying there. We are already thinking about going back with my family and renting both floors!! My aunt passed by and fell in love with it, she couldn't believe that I had found such a pretty house.. I almost liked staying there as much as I liked going out! The views were breathtaking. Monica was very sweet and helpful. She didn't mind helping us with directions to nearby beaches. I will definately be staying there again!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!Words cannot describe the incredible view and how at home Monica and Milito's home makes you feel. The view from the upstairs balcony is unbelievable. The entire home is absolutely beautiful. Monica and Milito make you feel very comfortable to be in their home. All the attractions are so close by and the locals make you feel very welcome. If you have any questions regarding any of the information that Monica leaves for the must sees on the island she is always happy to help with directions or suggestions. One of the places everyone must visit is the small restaurant called "El Timon" located 10 minutes from the home. Located at the intersection where there is KFC & Burger King and there is also a shopping plaza with an Amigos grocery store. El TImon has everything from fresh pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and excellent media noches and also a sandwich called "El Timon" (excellent). You must stop in. Now that you have your breakfast and lunch set up this is the itinerary we followed: 1. Luquillo beach (snorkel, sunbathe, and eat at the local kiosk)2. Seven Seas beach by Wyndam El Conquistador if you are a strong swimmer and like to snorkel ask the lifeguard for suggestion you just might meet a local who likes to swim out to the reefs. Bioluminescent by kayak Peter as a tour guide. 3. El Yunke (wear comfortable shoes and wear your bathing suit to swim under the waterfall). 4. Charted a boat from Kurt at Puerto Rico Divers Supply for a family snorkel and scuba diving trip. Kurt even brings drinks and snacks. 5. Culebra Island get to the ticket booth by 7:15 a.m. even the locals go out every day. Must rent scooters from Thrifty EXCELLENT way to see the island. Flamenco beach is also a must and local shops. 6. Horse back riding in Luquillo even if you've never been on a horse this was great!! The reason we mentioned all of the above is to let you know how many things were so easily accesible to the home. The house being the center of our vacation made all of the recreational activities even more enjoyable. Even if you decide not to do anything the home alone is vacation worthy in its own right. Paradise on earth. Thank you so much Monica and Milito.

We rented the upstairs for a week in early March and LOVED it! The house is lovely, spotless, and well-equipped. This is SO much nicer than a touristy resort or a confining hotel room. If you like the glitz of San Juan, this probably isn't the place for you (a heavy traffic drive), but if you're looking for a location convenient to beaches, the rainforest and other sights, with the comfort of home, book it immediately!

Our family of 7 stayed upstairs the last week of March. The house was great, the yard was gorgeous, and everything was exactly as pictured on the website. Monica & Milito went out of their way to be accommodating. We enjoyed hiking the rainforest, the bio bay, and a day sail with Roberto. We would definitely consider staying here again!

My family and I LOVED staying in your home. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. We enjoyed the "rent a pet" option too. My Dad said that the nicest thing about the house was its' owners! He was right!! THANKS for Icacos.

We stayed our first week at the beautiful El Conquistador resort but definitely were not disappointed when we got to the house. The house is beautiful, beyond expectation, the view and yard take your breath away! Meeting Monica was like meeting a friend you haven't seen in a while and Miguel was friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend staying at this house to enhance your visit to Puerto Rico. We drove #3 to Ponce and loved the scenery. If you take a catamaran to Culebra use the company who advertises the Island Flyer. If you meet the captain, Tito, say hi to his friends from Canada! Go to Rosa's for a great meal and definitely go to Luquillo Beach. Should our travel plans ever include Puerto Rico we would definitely try and stay at this house again. I already miss the sound of coqui frogs, roosters and the feel of the trade winds blowing through the bedroom. Don't take just our word for this experience, try it!

We rented both floors of this house earlier this month in order to accomodate 3 generations of family. It is a great place to stay! The house and gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The picture on the website just can't do justice to the spectacular view of the ocean and islands. And the owners are extremely gracious and helpful.

Our family spent a wonderful week in the upstairs house. Great views, sounds of "coquie" tree frogs at night, fun dogs to play with, convenient to beaches, safe and relaxed environment. Monica and Milito made us feel like family. We highly recommend this as a rental and hope to return to paradise again! Nearby, go to El Yunque rainforest, night kayaking in the phosphorescent lagoon, the islands of Vieques or Culebra for a day, and we really liked Luquillo Beach and the food vendors just past the exit to the beach.

My husband and I decided to take our anniversary vacation in Puerto Rico but did not want the hustle and bustle of tourism. We stayed in the two bedroom villa which had a breathtaking view of everything , sky, ocean etc. The ambiance was perfect for what we were looking for...quiet time to be together. We visited several beaches, went snorkling and enjoyed plenty of the native foods! The property owners were friendly, helpful and all around great! We look forward to returning to Ceiba with our family to visit our new friends!

I was originally going to stay in a hotel, but the thought of spending a whole week in a bland room with 2 beds and a tv didn't really appeal to me, and so I decided to rent a house for my family. I was so happy that I found this place. My family and I loved our stay here. The view from the house is stunning. You can see clear to the ocean. It is surrounded by lush tropical flowers, palm trees and a velvety green lawn. The rooms are large and airy, and there is always a soft breeze coming from the ocean. The rooms are clean and charming with plenty of closet space and drawers to unpack. We could all spread out and not feel cramped. And I really appreciated having a laundry room. It was great to be able to wash our bathing suits and beach towels so they would be fresh for the next day. And it was nice to have a well stocked kitchen to cook in, so we didn't have to eat out all the time. We highly recommend this hidden paradise.

We found this place by accident but what a great find! We had reservations at a San Juan "3 star" hotel that we cancelled to move here. This is a "5+ star" facility if only because of its fantastic view. It is also very spacious, modern, clean, well equipped and well maintained inside and out. While there is no pool, you are only minutes away from several beaches. The nearby marina has a great restaurant, scuba diving and fishing charters. We found it fit our needs to a "T" and recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle of the city and spend quiet time in the PR countryside. Great facility for spending a week or two before or after taking a cruise ship out of San Juan.
