Buffalo Ridge Condominium... Silverthorne, Colorado! Located among Copper Mountain, Keystone, Breckenridge, and Arapahoe Basin with a view of the mountains to die for!!
This Non-Smoking condo offers easy access to what many think are some of the best ski areas in the world. Shuttle buses from the parking lot will take you to any of the four ski areas in the vicinity -- Arapahoe Basis, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain & Keystone. By car, the times are about 30 minutes to Arapahoe Basin, 20 to Keystone or Copper Mountain, and 25 to Breckenridge. Vail is about 45 minutes A well-kept secret among Coloradans is Loveland Basin. It has no lodging onsite so attracts few visitors (no lift lines!), but is only about 15 minutes away, just on the east side of the Eisenhower Tunnel which goes through the Continental Divide.
In Summer, the trailheads for several great hikes are just 5 minutes' walk from the door. Hikes for all levels are plentiful in the area, from a flat hike with 360 degree views to overnights that challenge the expert. Some of the best fishing in the country begins at the bottom of the hill, along the Blue river and extends to lakes and streams in all directions. Also enjoy horseback riding, canoeing, boating, or tennis on the condo association's own court.
For those less inclined to the outdoor rigors, there are discount malls at the bottom of the hill with about 30 stores.
The condo has two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two twins. Additionally, there is a pull-out combination living room sofa and queen-size bed. Thus, it will sleep six. The condo is built around the view. The bedroom with the double bed has its own bathroom with a stall shower. A regular bathroom off the central hall area includes a tub.
At the condominium’s clubhouse (about a 250 foot walk) there is jacuzzi, pool, and hot tub. Just five minutes down the hill are Silverthorne and Dillon with a wide range of down home, Yuppie, and less descript restaurants, bars, and the like. City Market sells a range of foods to support most gourmet (or frugal) interests within the condo's kitchen and has a good wine and liquor store next-door.
Sorry but condo association rules prohibit pets. |
