Relax lakeside in an updated 3 bedroom, 1 and 1/2 bath lake home. Located on peaceful Tearney Bay on Okauchee Lake, just 30 minutes West of Milwaukee off of Hwy 16. Okauchee Lake is over 1100 acres in size, more than 90 feet deep in the center, and offer great fishing, swimming, and features a selection of several restaurants only a short boat ride away.
Our location on Tearney Bay offers protection from the wind and waves associated with the big lake yet provides unencumbered access in just seconds. The location provides some of the best fishing on the entire lake just off our pier, and over 30-feet of space to tie-up your boat.
This completely furnished home features first and second story porches that extend the full width of the home, providing peaceful views of the bay. The top of the shore-side boathouse also has a deck for relaxing or dining “lakeside” and offers sunset views most of the season.
The home comes completely furnished and sleeps 6 adults comfortably.

This family home was well kept and in a beautiful lake location, near restaurants, shopping, and the freeway. We enjoyed the outdoor spa and the burning pit on the lower level. Our few concerns were taken care of with friendly promptness. We had an enjoyable experience in this lovely home in WI.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, pet owners, girls getaway.

Very good experience. Okauchee Lake is a lot of fun. Good size lake, lots of fingers and good places to swim and fish. The house was well kept and the description was accurate. Tearney Bay is quiet and it made for a peaceful atmosphere. The owners were very helpful and were available when we needed them or had a question about the house or the lake. The BBQ had an issue and they were even were nice enough to replace it while we were there. We were fortunate to rent the boat and that added greatly to the experience. We would recommend the house for a family seeking a pleasant lake experience.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Carl's Cabin and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, relaxing summer home. The pictures and description are accurate but don't fully reflect the spaciousness and comfort of the home. For excellent July 4th fireworks, you can rent the pontoon or go to The Golden Mast restaurant and sit on their lawn (the fireworks were only 200-300 yards away on a small island across from the restaurant!). It was quite the spectacle. And if you have any fishermen in your family, they will have fun fishing off of the dock or out on the lake. We also had fun taking the paddle boat around the bay, enjoying the views of the homes and the wild life. Thank you so very much for a lovely week and life-long memories!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: We have loads of friends on the lake and spend most of our time out by 'Party island' swimming and relaxing in the sun. Everything is new, clean freshly painted and fixed up great. We love being out on the lake and visiting many of the restaurants, swimming, skiing and wake boarding. Then coming home, relaxing in the hot tub and roasting marshmallows in fire. Memories will last a lifetime!

We love Okauchee because it is so close to home, lots of friends on the lake, great variety of restaurants and bars to go to, great for swimming, fishing, and all water sports! You just can not beat it. It is large enough that you can always find an area to do what you want, when you want!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Love the peacefulness of Tearney Bay. It has a 'hidden' inlet that is covered with trees on all sides through the channel. Then in the bay it always feels warmer, no waves, quiet and peaceful. We really have the best of both worlds. I also love the 2- person paddle boat- great in the bay for fishing, the hot tub is great at the end of the day, and finally the kitchen is the best with open concept to the living area it is excellent for entertaining. In addition, we have huge decks the top one is open in the sun and below is sheltered if you need some time out of the sunshine. Nothing like roasting marshmellows at the end of the day over the fire pit.
