Casa Luna overlooking beautiful Half Moon Bay - Akumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico - Villa on the Riviera Maya! Casa Luna is located on Half Moon Bay in Akumal, Mexico, 60 miles south of Cancun. It stands adjacent to a beautiful park and overlooks the Caribbean. The entry into the villa is a walk through a jungle paradise. The villa cannot be seen at all from the road...such privacy! Casa Luna is a very large, very special villa with many unique features designed by an artist and tile designer. The villa has three floors, an enclosed two car garage, a swimming pool, a secluded sunbathing area, many outdoor terraces and balconies and a fabulous guest house which can be rented with or without the main villa. They are totally independent of each other but yet are close by. The ground floor of the main villa includes a large master bedroom [king-size bed] and bath, guest bedroom [2 double beds] and bath, living room, full dining room and kitchen. You can enter the swimming pool from inside or outside - it flows from an outdoor garden area under a large view window into the living room! Kids love this feature, and adults don’t seem to mind it either!!! The second floor is a full master suite with bedroom [king-size bed], living room, bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped and you can either whip up your own gourmet meals, or hire Sylvia, Casa Luna’s caretaker, to cook the most excellent Mexican food you have ever eaten. The third floor is to die for! It's a party room with wet bar and a 360 degree view of the ocean, Half Moon Bay, jungle and Akumal. The most incredible view in all of Akumal! This is an ideal place for those who like a little privacy. The guest house is included in the villa rental, the guest house may also be rented separately in mid or low season. It's quite a unique "honeymoon cottage" located as a second floor over the garage with a private view of the ocean overlooking the park. It has a king-size bed with hand-crafted headboard and side tables. The whole guest house is adorned with custom-designed tiles and Ticul marble. It also has a cozy living room with built-in Mexican couches. Casa Luna is bright, colorful and bursting with character. With it’s proximity to Akumal Bay, we don’t think you would want to rent anywhere else!
