Our cottage is located right next to Pier Park and directly across the street from 200 feet of vacant beachfront and has an incomparable unobstructed view of the beach. When you drink your coffee on the 3rd floor porch in the morning you won't want to leave. But you will because there is so much more to do. You can cruise Pier Park itself or ride the bike trails at Aaron Bessant park which is less than 1/2 mile from the Cottage. That Park also has an outdoor amphitheatre which holds many music events during the year including Seabreeze Jazz Festival and the Summer Concert Series. A little further to the North is Frank Brown Park which hosts the Indian Summer Seafood and Music Fest in the fall, the horse show in the spring, Thunder Beach in the spring and fall and many other events. They also have a public pool with some slides and small water attractions for the kids.
Pier Park is a destination all on its own. You will never have to eat at the same restaurant while you are here. Besides Margaritaville and Dick's Last Resort, there is Reggae J's, Kilwin's Chocolate & Ice Cream, Five Guys Burgers, Red Robin, Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings, two Starbucks and many other nice but casual dress restaurants. The shopping is incredible with stores for all kinds of tastes. Stores include Ron Jon Surf Shop, Del Sol, Target, Dillard's, Penneys, Justice for Girls, Hollister, Coldwater Creek, and about 100 other local and national stores. If you get tired, take in a movie at the The Grand Theatre with 16 screens and rest your feet watching a movie. There is a kiddie amusement park near the theatres and you can get a massage at Massage Envy or your nails done at Nails So Happy (my wife recommends it). Guys? You say you don't get your nails done. Well the cottage is located less than a quarter mile from a world class 1500 foot fishing pier where the view is incredible and the fishing even better. Bring your gear or rent or buy some locally. And on the beach by the pier there are water sports available.
Our cottage is located about 10 minutes from the new Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport. Southwest Airlines and Delta operate out of the airport and there are direct flights to Atlanta, Houston, Nashville, Memphis, Orlando and Baltimore. If you choose to fly in, we will be glad to make arrangements for your transportation to and from the cottage. You can fly in here and have a great vacation without even renting a car, but car rentals will be available at the airport.
If you decide to rent a DVD (or watch one of ours) and stay in at night, the Living Area is equipped with a great surround sound system. After the movie go for a walk on the Pier and see the lights from shore. The Pier is open 24/7 and is less than 5 minutes from your door.
No waiting for a condo elevator, no looking for a parking place at your condo or Pier Park and no listening to what your condo neighbors are doing. Make yourself at home away from home and bring your doggie to enjoy it with you. If you are looking for a great relaxing Florida vacation, look no further.

And now, with the new airport, we are closer than any other area of Panama City Beach to great airline destinations at great prices with Southwest Airlines.
The Unique Benefits at this CottageThe early mornings are quiet and great for sitting on the porch drinking your coffee while watching the sun come up over the water. You might catch site of dolphins jumping out of the water. Then, talk a lovely walk (1/4 mile) to Aaron Bessant Park. If you have dogs, this is a great place to take them for a run. Then maybe take a leisurely stroll through Pier Park and have some breakfast at Panera Bread or Starbucks. Later in the day if you feel like resting, you can sit on the porch and visually take in all the beach activities such as parasailing, wind surfing, boating kite flying and many other activities or take a nap in the hammock on the second floor porch.

What a great house, We have rented many homes through vrbo and this is at the top of the list.The house is so close to Pier Park and the beach access is right across the street.The house is clean and laid out very well. We brought our dogs and they enjoyed the dog beach right by the pier.We do hope to rent again in the future.

I have enjoyed this home so much. It has all the comforts that a home could offer. It is very clean and well stocked. It has an awesome view from the top floor!! Just what I wanted. It is so convenient to everything, especially Pier Park. If you have a dog it is really nice because the 'dog beach' is across the street and you can also walk to the park at the pier park area and it is a nice area. Also, Frank Brown park is a mile away and it has swimming pools and play ground and ball fields and a dog area where they can be off leash. Dean and Michelle are very nice and helpful. If you have not seen the home, it is right behind a home but it still has the best view. I would recommend this home to anyone who is physically able to do steps. It is great.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The home is VERY clean and had all of the comforts of home. Plenty of blankets, kitchen utensils, cookware, etc. The bed was very comfortable!! The property extremely close in walking distance the the large pier shopping area, a nice park, and of course the beautiful beach across the street. We spent many mornings and evenings on the balcony on the 3rd floor with a great view of the ocean. The owners do a wonderful job maintaining the property and pay attention to all of the details to make your stay more comfortable. They were always available to answer any questions we had about the area and property. I highly recommend this rental property! Thanks for everything!!

We were so fortunate to be able to take a vacation this summer. I searched for some time to find a place where we had the best of everything: short walk to the beach, short walk to the City Pier and Pier Park, tremendous view of the ocean and very peaceful without condo noise from other tenants. Well, I could go on and on but you will just have to see it for yourself. Have a great time!

My family loved this cottage and it was even nicer than the pictures. We were so comfortable in your place that we would love to have stayed for a month. It was clean, bright, and cheery and had everything my family needed and wanted. We slept so well in the masterbed that we came home and decided we needed a new mattress! I can't say enough about your attention to details. Walking across the street to the beach was so nice and I loved that the beach was not crowded in that area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Dean and Michelle, ya'll are great!

Dean & Michelle just wanted to let you know how much myself and my family enjoyed your place. I really enjoy the location being so close to Pier Park and being so close to the beach, wonderful view of the beach from the balcony. It was great to pull up to the garage and unload the vehicle, without having the hassle of searching for a parking spot and waiting on busy elevators. Your vacation home was very clean, pleasent and had all amenties we needed. Decor was beautiful, good job Michelle! I also called the owners afew times while I was in Panama and they always returned my calls promptly, thank you for being so helpful. I would recommend this property for anyone who wants to be close to the shopping and all the other activities at Pier Park, right across from a uncrowded beach area, and enjoy to stay at a relaxing, clean well decorated place. Loved it!

Michelle and Dean were great to work with about arranging our vacation. This was the first time we have ever rented a house, even though we've been coming to PC Beach for 14 years. It was nice that all of our family could be "under one roof" instead of in motel units.It was very convenient to Pier Park, where we walked to eat and shop. House was extremely clean and well-maintained, exactly as shown in the photos. I would definitely recommend this property!
