Five stars aren't nearly enough. We spent the week of Oct. 14-21, 2012 in this well equipped, conveniently located condo. Imagine walking out your back door onto the lanai, and seeing a well kept lawn, and the seawall about 50 feet away. Turtles swim by during the day, beautiful sunsets over Laini at night. The property is well kept, and the management staff all very helpful and polite. No loud noises from the street nor the other guests. It is convenient to the entire west coast of beautiful beaches, snorkling. golf, and markets. The town of Lahaina just moments away. The owner made us feel like we were his personal guests. I would highly recommend this condo.

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Another Beautiful Time in Maui

Thanks again Alan, We so love your place. This is our second time staying at Kaleialoha #112. You just cannot beat the location. It is so close to everything. And the condo has everything you need. Were spoiled, we just love being on the ground floor, and full view of ocean. It feels like our second home. Alan, thanks again for letting us checkout late, at no extra charge. Great condo and great location!

We really enjoyed having a ground level condo where we could walk right out to the ocean anytime. We rarely needed the AC and loved being able to open the doors and enjoyed having the fresh breeze flow through the condo anytime of the day. We even snorkeled right out front with the turtles! The office staff was very friendly and we enjoyed working with Alan to set up the reservation. The condo was set up well and was stocked well with dishes, towels, etc. The only issue is that there is not really a good beach out front to layout on or swim from. Occasionally, when the tide goes out, there is a small beach next door, but it has limited amount of sand out front. We still enjoyed snorkeling everyday and drove to some great beaches near by.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I kow we had very high tides during your week, but the adjacent white sand beach, of course, is always there for swimming and snorkeling. My husband and I just stayed at Alan's Kaleialoha condo for 10 days for our 40th wedding anniversary trip. The condo is definitely as advertised, very pretty, clean and well stocked. We had rainbows every morning and turtle watching every evening. The evening breeze came through the condo from the lanai making the AC unnecessary, just as Alan said.We'd never been to the islands before and Alan was so informative on the phone and by email that we were well prepared for our visit. Alan even graciously extended our check-out time, without charge, as our flight home was late evening, which we so appreciated. We're already planning to return in 2 yrs! Thank-you Alan!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

A beautiful location to see everything you want - whales, rainbows, turtles as well as access to numerous beaches, sites of interest, golf and shopping. The condo was very clean, private and quiet with a "to die for" view from the walk-out lanai. It was exactly as described and dealing with the owner was easy and helpful. This was our first time in the islands and we would definitely go back there !!

My husband and I stayed 6 nights at Alan's oceanfront condo in Honokowai. The condo is tastefully furnished, very clean and well-organized; it's also quiet. It has a full kitchen so we could easily cook our meals (even has a blender for fruit smoothies). We really appreciated the king-size bed and the veranda with views of the ocean. We ate all our meals outside with spectacular sunsets. Alan was easy to deal with when booking the condo. The place was much more reasonable than similar units.

Relaxing week in a marvelous Maui condo

We had a great experience renting this well-equipped and very comfortable condo. The owner was very knowledgeable about Maui and was able to help us decide that this was the area in which we wanted to stay. The condo was very clean, the kingsize bed very comfortable, everything was exactly as represented, and it was great to have a washer and dryer right in the unit. We like to cook on vacation and the kitchen was stocked with lots of cookware and various tools. The owner even has 2 extremely nice beach chairs and 2 different sizes of cooler available to use, as well as 2 beach towels. The management at the location was helpful and friendly. The photos do not do justice to the gorgeous sunsets! And nearly every morning of our week in the condo, we enjoyed seeing a rainbow out over the ocean while drinking coffee on the lainai! Great week and great place to stay.

Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I wanted to spend our fifth anniversary in a very special place...We found it! Kaleialoha is now our favorite Maui destination. We have visited the various Hawaiian Islands annually and will be back to Kaleialoha. We spent the majority of our stay on the water front property. The grounds were very tropical and well manicured. Our condo was very clean and felt like home. The office staff was attentive to every need and we made some good friends. Kaleialoha is perfect for family's and couples alike...We swam with turtles and enjoyed great snorkeling right outside our door. Our condo was very close to resorts, shopping, and restaurants. Can't wait to go back...

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Dear Alan: We have recently returned from our trip to Maui/Japan/Taiwan, and I want you to know that our trip to Maui was certainly enhanced by the apartment which you provided. It was very clean, comfortable (now I want a king-size bed!), well appointed and well situated. We loved the sliding doors out to the lanai, the lawn and the ocean beyond. Altogether an excellent holiday retreat which I'd recommend to anyone. I even managed a swim in the pool, and we had some spectacular views of rainbows! Best regards

Alan, Aloha! Wow what an awesome place you have. We are so glad you have not decided to live there full time but to share your place with others. We loved it and had an incredible time. We put the coolers to good use on many excursions in our rental jeep. I don't think we turned the air on but one night. The cool breeze blowing through was perfect and then you could hear the waves. We had a perfect time and thank you again!

Aloha Alan We had such a wonderful vacation in your condo on Maui (Unit 112 for three weeks!! I can't thank you enough. The sunsets, the huge turtles, the snorkeling right there outside our door, all the wonderful people we met there. We grilled almost every evening and met some other residents and short term vacation renters and we had just the most special vacation. Thanks doesn't seem enough. We all hope to one day repeat this trip and we surely will keep you in mind. One more time, thanks ever so much!!

Dear Alan, This is a note to say Thank YOU for a lovely visit to your condo. My husband and I have travelled a lot and stayed in some fancy condos but we enjoyed your condo as it felt more like a home. I wanted to tell you thank you for having all of the cooking things I could ever need. We were delightfully surprised to find even a blender. The people at the office were wonderful. The other tenants there were friendly and polite. The view of the sunsetting over the ocean every night was AWESOME! The pool at the condo was warm and clean and wonderful. I absolutely loved having a washer and dryer! The grounds were kept so lovely. The location was GREAT! All in all, everything worked together to make our stay in Maui so lovely. The information you sent us was great too. So here is a big THANK YOU!

Alan we wanted to thank you for letting us stay at your condo in Maui. This has been one of the best vacations ever. Your condo is so nice and modern. The king bed was super comfortable & there was lots of drawers for clothing. The kitchen is so well equipped, there was everything we could have needed there. Love the big flat screen TV, and by the way having a washer and dryer in your unit was a deffinetely a big advantage for us since we had 3 kids. The swimming pool was really nice too. But the most amazing thing of all was to wake up in the mornings, make our own breakfast, and then sit on the lanai and watch the spectacular view of the ocean. We were able to actually see the sea turtles right off the shore, and we were also lucky to see a Munk Seal sun bathing few steps from your lanai. Well it was amazing, and we look forward to coming back soon!!!! THANKS !!!
